GrantSP Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 Easy, D - FixesEssential mods that fix bugs and tweak deficient aspects of Skyrim. Well maybe not. My preference would still be UI, simply because the changes are in an UI element, albeit a menu not the game screen.
Xaviien Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 So what the concensus on this one? Interface or Gameplay? Haha I don't think there's going to be any consensus here. If the section didn't seem to be mainly related to just graphics, I would say misc.
DoubleYou Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 How about, a new category called MCM Mods
EssArrBee Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 How about, a new category called MCM Mods You mean Interface?
Kelmych Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 Seems like an interface/UI mod to me since it displays some otherwise hidden parameters that the game maintains.
EssArrBee Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 Are we dropping Vano's HRDLC in favor of our optimized texture pack?
Kelmych Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 Does the performance version of the STEP optimized pack cover users with small graphics cards (<1 GB VRAM), or should we still recommend Vano (or possibly the reduced vanilla textures) for this?
TechAngel85 Posted March 3, 2015 Author Posted March 3, 2015 That's a good question for Z, but I will say that no user with
TechAngel85 Posted March 4, 2015 Author Posted March 4, 2015 I've updated the Guide for the Skyrim Skill Interface Re-texture mod being accepted. For it's mod page and installation instructions, I simply duplicated the options we had installed from the original mod by Tko007. The FOMOD instructions still need to be converted to the new template.

Xaviien Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 Currently the Fomod instructions for this mod look like this:If we update to the new Fomod template, it will either look like this:Or like this if I split it halfway: Bear in mind this will be worse for anyone using a resolution lower than 1080 (where the words bleed over). I think Z was right, sometimes the old one is just simpler (when there is only one option to select on each page).
TechAngel85 Posted March 5, 2015 Author Posted March 5, 2015 I'm not really worried about the bleed over. I would say the users that are lower than 1080 are a minority here. These would mainly be laptop users.
