MonoAccipiter Posted March 5, 2016 Posted March 5, 2016 That seems odd. I can look into it tomorrow, currently working on my (continued development of ACES') casino overhaul.
Shad73 Posted March 5, 2016 Posted March 5, 2016 (edited) I think the 3.3 Version of Robert's Body has omitted the pip boy glove entirely...which might explain it. Edited March 5, 2016 by Shad73
MonoAccipiter Posted March 5, 2016 Posted March 5, 2016 Go into Robert's Body in MO's left pane and hide the lefthandpipboyglove.nif and lefthandpipboyglove1st.nif in the meshes/characters/_male folder and see if that makes the glove work.
Shad73 Posted March 5, 2016 Posted March 5, 2016 That worked Thanks! I think why he did it is because with the pip glove enabled..the hands don't match.. I can live with it though.
MonoAccipiter Posted March 5, 2016 Posted March 5, 2016 Disable the rest of the hand nifs in the same folder and your hands should match up again.
darkside Posted March 5, 2016 Posted March 5, 2016 (edited) I learn new things today. I setup GECK to work with NVSE, and JIP NVSE plugin. I manged to fix script from Distributed Necklaces and Chains Neck Seam Concealer (Updated with JIP) https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/59290/? . The script works perfectly now. No more female necklace added on male characters. There was error condition in the script. I am totally script noob, but Thanks to internet and Google. Unfortunately, the new script will not effect NPCs that you have already encountered because they already have necklace in their inventories. Few NCR male rangers already got pearl necklaces LOL. I will try to release it if I can get permission. Edited March 6, 2016 by darkside
Van555 Posted March 6, 2016 Posted March 6, 2016 I was reading up on how the more perks for lonesome road does exist but as part of another mod. Do you think it's possible to extract the perk stuff without the rest of it? And if so should I contact the author before attempting it?
MonoAccipiter Posted March 6, 2016 Posted March 6, 2016 That sounds great, darkside! I had totally forgotten how much i detested veteran rangers with white pearl necklaces. @Van555: You could probably go ahead and try looking at it before getting a response, but if you'd feel inclined to share it, which I encourage, contacting the author would probably be wise.

I got one permission now, just one more left. Thanks.

I gained so much from this guide. I tried contacting the author but he can't receive new messages and the deserters fortress mod the perks were part of can't be extracted without his permission so I think I'm out of luck. Van555 Posted March 6, 2016 Posted March 6, 2016 (edited) Ok so I feel like a total newbie but you don't apply the bash tags script to the dlcs in NV while it is done in FO3 right? Edited March 6, 2016 by Van555
MonoAccipiter Posted March 6, 2016 Posted March 6, 2016 (edited) I'm just making an educated guess here, but all the FNV DLCs (except GRA & Courier's Stash, but neither of those distribute the gear on their own) are extensions in new worldspaces, and don't touch any vanilla assets, so there shouldn't really be any reason to tag them. darkside Posted March 6, 2016 Posted March 6, 2016 I found this modFallout New Vegas Textures Optimized by Worriedwalrus https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/59435/? Can it be use instead of DDSopt the texture yourself? I don't have any performance problem with non-optimized texture, but I found this mod. EssArrBee commented in the post section.
MonoAccipiter Posted March 6, 2016 Posted March 6, 2016 Yes, you can use that. When I did some of the tracklights had some texture corruption issues, but I'm unsure whether that was because of the long download or the mod in itself.
