Octopuss Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 He does, but I can see how it's pain in the ass :DHe has pretty slow internet, so uploading anything bigger takes ages. He doesn't update the individual mods right away either.
DoYouEvenModBro Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 (edited) He does? I mean the all-in-one was just updated the other day but each individual one is still a month old. He just takes a while? Edited March 7, 2014 by DoYouEvenModBro
Octopuss Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 I think he switched focus to maintaining the AIO version the most in last weeks, but I really don't know what's going on with the others ever since I switched to the full package (well, minus manually deleted files belonging to the forts, for which I use Cabal's mod as per STEP recommendation).
DoYouEvenModBro Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 STEP ended up deciding on Cabal's for forts? I was starting to get a headache around the Cabal's Fort's/farmhouses vs vivid vs whatever. The consensus was Cabal's for forts? Does STEP recommend that optional rounded texture for exteriors?
Octopuss Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 Actually... no. It's not in the guide at all. I am sure it was marked as accepted somewhere, some time... Or I am mixing stuff up again.Damnit
DoYouEvenModBro Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 It's still most definitely NOT marked as accepted, so you must be mixing things up :-P.
Octopuss Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 (edited) Ha, got it. As usual, I WAS mixing stuff up in my head. It's still in testing, both of them, actually. I was removing the forts from Vivid Landscapes because I decided to go with SRO or vanilla instead: https://forum.step-project.com/topic/3813-amidianborn-imperial-forts-by-cabal/page-2?do=findComment&comment=62029I'm gonna take a look again. TechAngel85 Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 @AllThis thread has gone way off topic! Lets get back to talking about the mod and whether or not it's for STEP. I personally do not care for these and if they're not looking that great without an ENB then they're not for STEP and should be dropped from testing.
DoYouEvenModBro Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 Well all of the Vivid Landscape textures include Parallax, so you'll need an ENB to get it to look good. With ENB, they look incredible however since STEP doesn't use ENB, we can't use these, right?
Octopuss Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 You don't necessarily need full ENB just for parallax. It might look better with it, but it's not required.
statmonster Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 I like the look of them, using VIvividian ENB and the All in One version of his mod.
DoYouEvenModBro Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 I'm using Serenity ENB - Full with the All-in-one and it is amazing.
phryxolydian Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 Has anyone here used this mod for Standing Stones? https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/35804/?I've been using it for a while and personally love it, I use the optional DD stuff. Of course I love VL and use I think most of his mods so I'll try this one out for sure but gotta say, I'm pretty happy with the other mod as of now.
Smile44 Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 It used to be in Skyrim Revisited (not current version), so probably plenty of us have used it. I quite like it.
phazer11 Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 Keep the discussion on topic. If you wish to discuss or ask questions about a mod other than this one either make a new thread in the mod subforum (if this doesn't already exist for the mod in question) and ask your questions there if need be.
