Let's find out what you guys think! Which one was the best? Feel free to explain your decision here :)

For me it was Fallout 2. It had a great story, great sandbox world, many side quests that kept you engaged for months! There were lots of community sites blooming on internet at the time - at least Polish ones. Fallout Bible came out -- and that was the most awesome thing, it gave A LOT of background to the games, it was a must have for any fan. It was generally great time to get sucked into Fallout Universe. Fallout 1 was just as great I think, and I generally put them both at the 1st place exequo, but UI was better in F2 - hence my decision to vote for it.

Fallout Tactics - it wasn't TOO bad, but it generally was a tactical game more than RPG... Fallout 3 and FNV are totally differeny story. They are great, don't get me wrong, I do like them a lot, but nostalgia wins :)

In general - Fallout universe is one of my favourite video game universes ever!

I've only played maybe 8-16 hrs of Fallout 3. Last I heard there were some issues with Fallout 3 and Windows 8. Not sure if there are now workarounds for that. If there are, it might be a good article to write for these forums. I've also only played maybe about 4 hrs of Fallout:NV...so you could probably put in the never played category. lol

I own FO3 and FNV but never played either one. Got them near free on Steam sale. One day perhaps. Doesn't have the same draw as Skyrim.

Glad I'm not the only one that does this! :turned: I have several games I got for free or super cheap that I haven't played yet (Mass Effect 3, Torchlight, Amnesia: The Dark Descent). Still have yet to even finish Mass Effect 2 even though I LOVE those games. Spend all my free time here.

For me Fallout/Fallout2 were the best since they mixed a good story line with humor and interesting character development. I liked Fallout 3 and Fallout NV also, but they are quite different.

While I have played those, I also have a number of inexpensive games I've bought on Steam sales (and a few other sites with older games) that are still waiting for me to play them.

I have a bunch of humble bundle games that I've never even installed. I even got Dishonored in the last Steam Sale and still haven't managed to play it.

The key I think is to spend a few minutes forums, then game for an hour, then come back.

Unfortunately, my role here requires a little more time than that. There's a lot to do. I have a notepad with notes filling half a page of things that need to be done. lol

I need to get Mass Effect 3, 1 and 2 were awesome. I played Fallout 2 and Fallout 3 but I quit about halfway through them same with Bioshock idk I know they're good games but... just one of those weird things you just have to do.

I'm really surprised more STEP members haven't jumped on the FO3/FNV experience. There is a vibrant modding community with lots of cross-over from TES3/4/5. I was very thankful for the FNV mod guide by EssArrBee

https://wiki.step-project.com/User:Essarrbee/FalloutNewVegas

I used that as a foundation and then scaled it up to 227 mod packages using WryeFlash/BAIN to manage it (not a MO fan). I've added ewi65's E enb for FNV and look very forward to a hardcore (meaning the vanilla hardcore option which has realistic needs built in) playthrough kicking off this weekend.

I loved fallout 3 (actually played it completely vanilla since I wasn't modding things at that point). I own the other games but have yet to play them yet. I love the post apocalyptic theme and will likely build a nice mod load out when I begin them.
