WilliamImm Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 I'm including this in my STEP installations from now on. Good find!
rootsrat Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 Hm, I have bit of a problem - the new version of this mod has 4 ESPs - main and 3 compatibility patches for RLO, CoT and RCRN. As per the mod description: Version 4 touches weather regions, which makes the mod incompatible with weather overhaul mods like Climates of Tamriel. I've included a few compatibility patches in the main archive.I've also found in comments that you should install main ESP + patch ESP. Now, I'm using RLO lighting + CoT weathers. Can anyone suggest if I should use both RLO and CoT patches or just CoT? I'm bit puzzled...
Smile44 Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 The quote implies that it is the weather systems that cause problems so install the patch for the weather mod, in this case CoT.
Kelmych Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 Although the region boundaries aren't as accurate as many would like I prefer version 3 since it is simpler and less involved with the inner workings of weather mods (which could change as the mods change). Overall I do feel it adds to immersion having areas not just be called "Skyrim".
Farlo Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 v4 removes a bunch of Sound flags that Dawnguard.esm adds and oddly enough there are only 5 entries where these two mods conflict. Am I missing something or does TES5Edit not paint the whole picture because as far as I can tell they're editing the same values.
rpsgc Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 v4 has been removed by the author, so, no point in comparing v3 to v4. https://forums.bethsoft.com/topic/1366563-relz-unique-region-names/page__view__findpost__p__22363544 https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/646976-unique-region-names/?p=7544483 He's also asking if anyone is willing to take over development of the mod: https://forums.bethsoft.com/topic/1448836-would-anyone-take-over-work-on-my-mod/
z929669 Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 Looks like nothing regarding recent testing data against STEP. Since I have not run it myself, I cannot vouch for it. This one is out unless a few people can provide some testing results.
Kelmych Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 I use version 3 and there aren't any problems, but some users have concerns about the accuracy of the region names.
z929669 Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 That is what I have been reading too. I'll keep it in here for a future release potentially
torminater Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 I'll check this mod out, too. Didn't experience any issues. From me it gets a go. Update: No conflicts except with Skyrim.esm (not Dragonborn.esm by the way)
z929669 Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 It seems like this may be a go. I'll want this one seconded by one of the other admin though ;)
z929669 Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 Still waiting on input from one of the other admin ...
Kelmych Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 I agree it should be in STEP; I think there should be a note on the Wiki page that region name boundaries are not aligned exactly with the boundaries shown on the Skyrim map.
