  1. Looks very much like you are using the winter plugin from CoT which turns everything to snow. This also limits the regions since there are only snow and snowy weathers everywhere.
  2. redirishlord: That is indeed a quite amazing feat. But you have to remember the basis for it. The person who started it all, is a veteran, not just some new developer out of his/her moms basement. He has the connections, the knowhow, and most vitally, he actually know what is realistic to go for based on the resources he can call on. My last paragraph was mainly related to people who are trying to get into the industry, they have plenty of ambitious ideas, and mostly the basic knowhow. But they lack the experience when it comes to what is realistic. This is what the example I provided was meant to show. Another point to this specific example is... it is a space sim... the only REAL "competition" is EVE. For any fantasy setup you have to compete with... WoW, and just about every other single MMO out there.
  3. My water mod is RWT and there I have never found anything that looks off. But well cant exclude it! For skin then I only tested with vanilla, and mature skin for females, and better males for dudes. I know that SK texture looks way to doll like but those SSS values really vary depending on texture. Another thing to add to the guide..... man that thing is going to be a book before I am done! I have never seen that snow on the roofs before.... I use better dynamic snow for my decals on roof... those particular ones are basic farmhouse roof texture, with the snow decal on top. I do not have anything that is entirely covered in snow. If it is even snow hehe. About the lighting. Then all global, day and night are all identical, to help combat the issue that some skyrim interiors are set to use night time value during day. It depends on the lighting mods if this has been fixed or not. I do not recall if ELFX + ELE actually fix this in all locations. I have never made a super indepth analysis of that particular phenomenon... mainly because patching it is outside of my current scope, and I got enough to deal with hehe.
  4. I have never seen snow around Whiterun... So not sure what you mean there!
  5. Does not matter... the AOS patch only contains region changes, and the weather patch does not.
  6. A small note Z: There is only one global interior setting in my preset. If you check you will notice that all interior values are the same, day and night and in every ini file. Interiors vary greatly, and largely it comes down to how the lighting mods behave and not how the ENB is setup. ENB´s only alter the base values the mods provide after all. Also Water and subsurface scattering is texture dependent, hence I urge people to tweak them into perfection for what they use. I wont be making a different set of files for every texture combination out there. Just too much work for too little gain. I will cover in my guide eventually on how to do this. Also what sort of snow texture are you using to make your roofs look that bright ? I never noticed my roofs being so bright! :) Edit: I also checked out on the weather thing... apparently it is only snow weathers that are brighter then every other weather... guess this is a weird mod edit somewhere. Guess I can try to find it.
  7. He does do trees... he even has stuff on youtube showing his recent wip stuff.
  8. Just because I have to.. Seems like your fogged!
  9. If you use the weather patch for CoT as well, then it might not be as noticeable.... I am not 100% sure how it will look since I am hardly ever testing in riften. But it is quick to test if you are so inclined. We have made many alterations to how fog works in the weather patch.
  10. Ah yes the good old case of "I have all the parts looking all shiny and stuff... but no power! Been there and done that.... my problem was that when I got my power I found out it was not compatible with my gfx card! That will teach ya to do proper research before buying!
  11. It is a general issue with volumetric fog not blocking distance fog properly. Depending on location then it will be more or less noticeable. What you have there is one of the worse cases I have seen. Only way to remove it is to make changes to the given weathers fog settings.
  12. Bah! Hate editing. Works fine with moonsize tweaks... if using an alternative moon texture it might not work super good, but no idea since I do not use any replacements for that.
  13. I use the mod. Will update the recommended mod list at some point when I get the time!
  14. All interior distance fog is removed in the image space. Do note that there is a difference between the volumetric fog clouds in certain interiors, and the distance fog. Most mods leave the volumetric fogs since they add atmosphere in the cell. Some remove it for the same reason.
  15. Guess you will have your answer next time you start your game and look up at the moon then! :)
  16. Wow. that is an order I would just cancel... and then order from somewhere else. It is clear that the company has made a critical error somewhere.. and it is just bad business practice to let any customer wait that long without some sort of reasoning, and/or compensation.
  17. It is not incorporated, since it is up to the individual user if they want to use the mod or not. And yes it should work just fine with custom moon textures.
  18. Well at least they are slowly but surely converting to metric system instead of imperial.... So many tech companies loose so much money because of silly conversion mistakes.... and every now and again a critical error happens... like when you crash a satellite into a planet because you failed to use meters in the orbital calculations. Still find that so amusing. As for the dates then it comes down to how you say the date.... It is simply a matter of saying 12th of feb. rather then feb 12th. Both are correct and contain the same amount of information. But yeah it is rather annoying.
  19. Make sure you do not enable the FPS limiter using a hotkey.... that has come to my attention can be an issue. It i easy enough to verify inside the GUI if it is the case.
  20. tbh I think it is more undragonlikely that more dragons do not speak in english... after all they are not just beasts who roam the lands, but highly intelligent creatures bent on world domination! I always found it sad that they had not made it so that dragons curse you and what have you while fighting! But to each their own!
  21. I have already adopted it for my ENB... In combination with moon cloud glowing it is just a very nice addition! Highly recommend that people at least try it out. Even more so if they use an ENB.
  22. Author of the OP no longer works on this (But instead works with another author to make a better requiem pack), hence I lock this thread since no further debate on the topic is warranted. The information in the OP is only for the specific versions included in that post! If you got further questions please ask in the pack support thread, and perhaps someone can help you with your issue!
  23. Try to use the injector version of ENB... most likely it conflicts with some GUI thing afterburner does.
  24. I have not used alternate start since way way back. But sometimes a weather is carried over when you use coc. So if it starts out with a vanilla weather it can follow you. (STATUS will tell you if in doubt) Best is to increase the time scale (set timescale to 5000) and wait for a manual transition. If it only sorts vanilla weathers then the regions are wrong. If not then it is just because that mod is forcing some weathers and carrying them along when you coc. At least this tells you if you are having the correct basis for testing hehe! :)
  25. You cant disable the ingame gamma! You can disable the image space brightness which is what you talk about Neovalen. If altering the fGamma value does nothing then I would say that your game is not loading the correct ini, or you are tweaking the wrong one. Night vision works by altering the image space brightness. In ENB this value is stored in the parameter _c3.w. So in order to have night vision working all you need to do is to have this value multiplied to the color. For further reference then the difference between brightness and gamma is the following. Brightness is color = color * brightness Gamma is color = pow(color, gamma) Where gamma is normally 2.2 for optimal viewing on most monitors.
