  1. If you have 8Gb or above and are using a 64bit OS, then there is no reason what so ever doing manual page fileing for gaming.
  2. If you want more positive reviews then lower everything and let people increase quality instead! ;) Proven concept! Since way too many people think the preset performance is set in stone! In general then above medium you kinda have to go pixel hunting for differences.
  3. Wont be compatible with thinner torch since its a mesh. The HD is a texture and is compatible.
  4. Oh the horror! I am on reddit... that can only end badly! But yes finally there is support for just about everything, and every mod.... almost! Still need to actually install RLO and verify it for myself... but I do not see any issues with it as long as ELE is used as well. Glad that you enjoy it!
  5. Yes, since that will auto start a new game with a default char. It is as good as pressing new game.
  6. Is the grass issue there with a fresh coc into the area ? If yes.. then you might have a mod issue.. if no then it is entirely related to you trying to load an old save into a new build.
  7. You can use SMAA if you want too, it can be used along side Edge AA and subpixel just fine. I only use Edge AA and subpixel, since I play at 1440p so aliasing effects are not that noticeable at all. I only use Edge AA because I like the bluring it does... especially to trees making them look more full and not as annoying. You can enable and disable edge AA ingame using the GUI to see the effect, and decide if you like it. About SweetFX... then if it is for the sharpening then that is already built in... so no point in wasting performance by adding it in for just that, not to mention that it would start to cause issues due to way too much sharpening. IF it is for other effects then it is ofc. up to you to experiment! :)
  8. It is by far the most comprehensive CoT preset! And very well done! I can only imagine the mental stamina that Mangaclub has to maintain all those ini files! :) It is quite sad that it does not get more love then it does! But then again any CoT preset is cursed by this, since I guess CoT is getting less love overall these days, probably because people have used it for so long that they have become aware of the oceans of weird bugs etc in it, as well as all the extra patches one require. That said then I can see that I still have not endorsed and will do that asap, since that sort of dedication deserves the thanks!
  9. Use the console to coc into a location...for soul cairn then it is "coc dlc01soulcairnorigin" if I recall correctly. If you are testing on already existing savegames then all your issues could be traced back to that alone! NEVER test new mod setups on existing saves.. always test using coc! Especially if you made the saves using previous versions of SKSE, since it is so fundamental to how scripts work.
  10. Did you try the basic stuff, such as make sure the issue is also present on a vanilla install only launched with SKSE ? If it aint a problem there then it is almost certainly not a SKSE but rather a mod dependent issue.
  11. Bear meshes should be under .../meshes/actor/bear Cant recall if SkyTEST uses custom meshes for the cubs.
  12. Thank you for the feedback Allsunday! I actually had the console tip in..but then it required another page so I cut it out... and just did not want to mess anymore with it now! Been rewriting that bad boy quite a few times now. Will probably be in the next update of it when I figure out a smarter way to say things. Yeah the sunsprite is a bit off this is true... but will get around to that once I actually get around to that specific shader.... eventually. Empty pages are all over, since the template I based the whole thing of is meant to be for book publishing, hence there is skipping of pages like that.. will also fix that eventually once I start altering the template... but LaTeX coding is not that much fun to me, and it does not have the highest priority. Also perhaps I just forgot a newpage command somewhere. Dragonborn module is entirely separate from Dawnguard... so I had not considered there was any ambiguity. Will look at that as well. As for the ENBoost stuff.... I am still torn between going full technical and keeping it simple for non tech savy users who just want the basics. Will probably do more with it next update. Also I will go over typos and spelling errors.... I do not have that enabled in my current editor but will get around to it when I polish it up in the future. Also about the bars.... they will keep melting since it is a fun effect.. and I cant sort it out since the effects that cause it are happening at a later stage then the enbeffect.fx file, hence they will influence it all the time.
  13. It alters the image spaces to in general increase saturation and contrast if I recall correctly. All something that can be done via ENB so no point in really using it.
  14. There uploaded... since vanilla weathers passed the final dragon test! I have made support for vanilla weathers, so they look like and fit in with the general theme I have for CoT. One could now even make a patch to mix vanilla and CoT weathers and it would blend in nicely I think. Also massive overhaul to the guide with lots of "how to" sections... that I will expand upon as I get feedback.
  15. Tonight or tomorrow.
  16. I am aware of that issue, and it will be fixed for next update. I also have fixed up all vanilla weathers so they are compatible with Skylight now. But in general then certain overcast nights will be darker then clear.... my plan is to align them with snow and rain storm in terms of darkness.
  17. Some setups have horrible issues with using the print screen or default steam screenshot button when using any post processing effects. Also make sure that gGamma=1.0 in the ini´s or this can also influence the screenshots by certain software. FRAPS is one of the only programs I have experience both personally and from others that always take proper screenshots regardless of settings. There are others as well but I do not recall their names at this point. If you are unsure if a program or method is working, then it is rather simple to take two screenshots and then make a histogram compare in either GIMP or Photoshop. If there are any deviations between the two then something is not working properly.
  18. That is why I did not just throw an instant warning and closed it all down! Now to get back on track... I still find this mod one of the most silly of all time... it is just hard to compete against it https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/6436/? My little pony with a vengence! Fear the fuzzy looking cartoon horses of DOOM!
  19. I think you mean well in making this thread. However your execution of it is badly done. Your initital post is a bash on the mod, and not about it providing any humorous or silly content. (I am guessing you find it amusing that it is so huge, yet fit so poorly into the game.) So please rewrite it so that this thread can come back on track, or I will shut it all down.
  20. You can search on this forum, and their post thread, etc. I have sadly never owned a laptop with those attributes, so I cant help other then saying that this is what works for others with the same issue. Perhaps one of them will be so kind as to offer assistance.
  21. Search for optimus fix and you will get something to work with. It is about that particular type of laptops that have issues with assigning the correct chip for the job.
  22. Phazer, you got the early beta version of the next update! Hence bugs are meant to be in it! As for the interiors, then I just fixed those up, since they where too dark with the change I made to the code! :) But thanks for at least noticing... I swear this little project of mine is getting out of hand in scope hehe!
  23. The darkone said in one of his long posts of doom, that they are hoping to eventually implement better picture viewing features sort of like other online image sites. But this sort of thing obviously takes time, and the general stability of the site is a much larger concern atm.
  24. Me and my "Cant leave well enough alone".... 95% sure I definitely fixed the darkening issue with vanilla image spaces..... so for the future I can actually provide full support for vanilla weathers as well as CoT. Will most likely still suggest ELE as a requirement, since I cant even begin to imagine how annoying it will be to have full vanilla interior support. But guess I just wanted to throw this bit out here for people who might consider trying out my ENB in the future.
  25. redirishlord: We can hope. In light of this thread then I think ESO once more show the real fail of fantasy MMO development. They simply use to many generic things that already exist in MMO #43 of the same genre. The only thing that alters between games is the setting, all mechanics and gameplay is the same. Which is also why they all end up as FTP and P2W... they are essentially the same game just with new skins. I find it really funny that what made wow really popular initially was that it was actually difficult and rewarded people who put in an effort! Raiding was a time investment that provided you with something everyone else would not be able to get. Sadly casual gamers these days cry to high heaven when ANYTHING is a time investment at all, and they do bring in the majority of the income. In my world then any MMO that has unique content only for the people who actually put in the time and effort are the ones I am going to want to play.
