  1. Sparrow Prince combined all his mods on the WATER page and changed the name to The Ruffled Feather. It's a combo of almost all his mods with an installer. We need to adjust the guide(s) for that. I asked about uploading a STEP only optional file for our use and he hasn't responded yet. I don't see why SP wouldn't say yes since I'll be watching over the page now.
  2. The problem I had with the mod was that it seemed over bright, if a star can actually be too bright. I like the rays, but wish it was a little more washed out. The vanilla sun has no rays but is too washed out.
  3. The problem is that the vanilla one doesn't really match either since it isn't covered by any retexture. Either lowerer res mismatch or higher res mismatch.
  4. 1.8 is for the beta version of xEdit only. You have to get it from a different site. The 1.75 merge script works though. Remove the mod and reinstall it. Or reinstall the mod with a different name.
  5. My idea is to take the persistent actor reference in Goodsprings and move it to an unused cell. I just don't know if that works, but I can't see why it wouldn't. Plenty of mods do that. Deleting the actor reference in the Worldspace record only messes up the exploding bolts.
  6. Maybe it's ENB/ENBoost. Are you using that?
  7. It's a bug with certain animations in WAR. The ones I have listed in the guide + the Enhanced Camera WAR options should prevent this. I spent a lot of time going through those three mods to make sure it wouldn't be off.
  8. He can no longer support his mods, so he combined them into one big mod. It's called The Ruffled Feather and you can pick and choose the options you want from the installer. That is the only way to install the mod until we figure something out.
  9. A screenshot would help and I need your MO version too please.
  10. Thanks for answering all the questions. If you want to use the wiki for any documentation, feel free to make a page. It's pretty easy and a bunch of people here can always go back in and add any wiki syntax stuff that is needed.
  11. The Project Nevada conflict is okay, PN should win since it changes stuff that relies on it being different from vanilla. YUP just fixes the vanilla version. The Stealth Suit conflict is the same thing. It changes the suit, basically an overhaul of that suit and should override YUP since it fixes the vanilla version. I've done some searching for anything ever related to the Comprehension perk and can find nothing like it. All issues seem to be with the Educated perk. I am honestly stumped. Sorry, but I don't know what it could be messing up just that perk. Have you tried taking another perk since the Comprehension and seeing if it has the same issue?
  12. Yeah, I just saw that I had access. I'll make sure to pop in from time to time and answer some questions since I'm quite familiar with your work SP. Will not mess with the files other than completely deleting them and closing the mod page, so no worries. I doubt you made any glaring errors in the upload since it was just a merge of your mods, but if there is a hotfix needed I can handle all that stuff. If you need anyone else's Nexus ID it's the same as here for the STEP Staff groupies, except DoubleYou who is Vuud. EDIT: Do you mind if I upload an optional file of only the stuff we use in STEP?
  13. In this case it's merging a few optional plug-ins. I instruct users to drag from the overwrite to the mod folder.
  14. You may need to restart your computer. It can help reset the permissions or allow you to change them. It's really just Windows needing a good slap.
  15. If you can't drag something to that folder then right click the mod and select open in explorer. Right click a blank part of the folder and select properties. If it is read-only then remove that (probably need admin rights) and then try to drag it over. Permissions get messed up a lot actually. It's pretty common, but one thing people never think about.
  16. So, I figured it was time I tried this sorcery out since I've finally returned to Skyrim. I'm pretty much sold. I do have some questions though. I was going to take some comparison shots and noticed that without the mod some of the tree LODs were incorrect. Is that normal? What's the general consensus on Vurt's SFO 1.x and 2.x as far as the tree LODs go? I saw some posts about it, but they were from much older versions of both DynDOLOD and xEdit, so is it different now? How out of date is the install video? I figured it out by only watching it once, but I'm a genius, so I'm worried about lesser minds. How far is DynDOLOD from primetime? We are doing a STEP guide update and it seems about ready to me. I'd love to drop some of our current LOD mods in favor of this solution. Do you mind if point some popular video makers I talk to at this project or is it to soon to have to that kind of exposure?
  17. Yeah, it also says that it was successful. That's why it terminated itself.
  18. Yeah, it's in the plugin. You can ignore it.
  19. Sorry I misread you original post. You should have installed each separately. The FNVEdit thing is something you should ignore. You can reinstall both just remove the NVB mods you already have first.
  20. Cleaning deleted navmeshes is not easy like cleaning ITMs and UDRs. You shouldn't merge those mods anyways since ILO has a patch for one of them that needs it to actually exist instead of be merged into something else.
  21. Solitude dragonhead HD (by rgabriel15) I found this little gem looking by accident and decided test it out. No other mod bothers to retexture it, so it's a good fit. STEP->Solitude dragonhead
  22. Sometimes the mods don't have the correct metadata and you have to Query the info. From there it will pick the correct file name.
  23. Make sure that nothing is read only. That's all I can think of. The Overwrite folder and the mod folder.
  24. I don't understand how that's happening. DId you load the entire mod list in xEdit? Sometimes the Bashed Patch will forward a few records on accident and create ITMs, but they are irrelevant since it loads last. I searched for problems related to that and I can't figure it out. There is something that just isn't very obvious that we might be missing.
