Hey Sheson in the MO video you move the split trees to the top level of the tree LOD mod, but I think they need to be added to textures/terrain/LODGen. -

Change to the Grovamata or w/e XPMSE skeleton and tick the scaled weapons option in the installer. Se if that makes the size of the arrows correct. -
So, if I close one TOC, all the rest will be closed? That seems pretty weird. It's probably what is happening because I opened all the TOCs on all my open tabs and it makes all new pages have them open.

It's been happening for at least two days. I noticed yesterday and didn't think anything of it, but I'm making a general Fallout guide here and there and saw the Fallout guides were collapsed.

All the Table of Contents on every page are collapsed by default. If that was one of those ninja changes, it'd probably be better to have them open by default. I use the TOCs more often that not and want other users to use them too.

Distant Detail and SDO will be gone, but Distant Decal Fix and EDT will probably stay. DDF is just for 20 mesh files and EDT is higher res versions of those distant terrain objects (not much though like 128x128 to 256x256), so I say keep those. DynDOLOD and LODGen just add the objects, they don't make them higher resolution as far as I can tell.- 307 replies

Are you going to include the Distant Decal Fixes and the EDT2 DB files for the STEP option? Then we could get rid of two more mods in the list. SP mentioned adding those if want to. We don't have to add it to the rest of the installer since he left those pages up.- 307 replies

I like Gamwich too. I think the HRDLC is better than STEP, maybe we should have reevaluated that a while ago. :/

Nothing was really updated with ICH, it just got a merged plugin. Kryptopyr is about to do an update cycle for the WAF/CCF/CCOR/AMB content addon stuff soon. -

The WAF version comes with the WAF fixes, so use that one to replace the default one. You'll need to hide the one from Improved Closedfaced Helmets. -

I vote yes on this mod. It may have a bug here or there, but then again regular Skyrim does too. I'd say go with STEP Core too. -

I finally figured out my ENB problem. I can finally get it to work properly without trying to come up with hack on my own. I don't even need the Injector.exe version. I'll be redoing the ENB/ENBoost section soon enough. I will probably put it on a separate page. I never liked that section anyways, so it will be better if I link to it. -

Probably means that instead of falling down, you go flying off into the sky like when a giant kills you. -
3.0.33 has never been released. You had to get it from AFK mods on the dev thread. Plus, this marks the official release of TES5LODGen.

Unable to zoom when using iron sights [SOLVED]

Go to your pipboy and select the PPA menu. The menu has something for FOV settings or something like that. All but one setting will have the same value. Change the one with the different value. I believe they are all 1 except the iron sights thing and you need to also make that setting a 1. I could wrong though and you might have to change it to 0. You'll know when you see it. -

For faces and hairs, Rustic all the way. SCO and RS are just silly. For clothing, gonna have to go with Rustic too. They are a departure from vanilla, but not sure that's enough that it isn't Core material. CCF changes the clothing of some priests, and that is core, so this is in that same vein of enhancing the game properly. EDIT: I'll take a look in game later tonight. -

I can't reproduce the flying on death thing by jumping to my death repeatedly. Maybe if the it only happens when an NPC kills you? -
Think of DynDOLOD as a mod that works on top of LODGen. It allows for animated LOD objects to exist by using a patch that it generates from your load order. It also adds in tons of LODs for objects that were missing from the vanilla game. There is a very large readme included in the DynDOLOD download.

From the very bottom of the mod page: Please check DynDoLOD by Sheson for more options when building LOD. It uses the same LODGen process as TES5LODGen, but provides extra meshes for more detailed LOD, dynamic scripted LOD patch for animated meshes, and gives more general control of what and how to include in LOD.

Discussion thread: TES5LODGen by Ehamloptiran, Sheson, and TES5Edit Team Wiki Link (coming soon) From it's mod page: Trees LOD and Objects LOD generator for Skyrim Installed a mod that moves or changes trees but they remain unchanged when far way, or you can't see new farm houses from a new shiney villages overhaul when a top of the mountain? Then you need this tool. Make sure to install TES5LODGen outside of Program files folder, somewhere with write access rights, or run as Administrator. Run TES5LODGen.exe, wait for it to load your plugins, then select worldspaces to generate LOD (by default only Tamriel worldspace is selected), and click Generate. Wait for it to complete, you can watch progress and check possible errors in messages list. When finished, close the program manually. TES5LODGen has several options when building LOD, please read technical details below to understand what they do.

Finding incorrectly assigned textures with GREP and nifskope is not anything I would wish on my worst enemy. It's just so tedious. I was looking at the bottles in nifskope right now and it looks like it has a missing texture listed. There should be five textures for the bottles, but one isn't in any of the BSAs. https://i.imgur.com/YDUdAP2.png I'm guessing that is par for the course with Bethesda, since I've run into stuff like that before but ignored it. Anyways, the texture is named ShinyGlass_e.dds so maybe they are supposed to look more like glass then ceramic at some point during development.
