ACCEPTED Audio Overhaul for Skyrim (by David Jegutidse)
EssArrBee replied to Neovalen's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Thanks Spock that helps us a lot. Live long and prosper. I've done some vanilla testing, and should be doing 2.2.8's current modlist with this mod when I get home from work. Where is everyone putting AoS in the install order? -
Buy Smithing Services
EssArrBee replied to jakeslim's topic in General Skyrim LE Discussion & Support
A new mod called Trade RouteS just came out that was inspires by EoS. See if it has smithing services. -
Realvision is actually automated no and the one enb I was thinking would be a problem. I will add a note about that enb and extracting end host.exe as well. For Realvision you don't need my QuickStart guide, just go to enb choices tab and follow the directions for Realvision since it has an automated script. Thanks for your feedback, every bit helps!

Any mod page that is made with the form has permission restrictions for the recommendations section because that info ends up being used as the notes on the STEP Guide. I think only s4n, tech, will, and you have permission for that section.

ACCEPTED Static Mesh Improvement Mod - SMIM (by Brumbek)
EssArrBee replied to z929669's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Damn, how could people already be busy with school? I barely went back to work today and no students til the 21st. Do you guys think Brumbek would be cool with the merging of the furniture and turn fix plugins with our patch? I'd probably have to do it in the Creation Kit, but it would make all plugins from SMIM unneeded. -
Technically, Extended is a type of Pack, but it is kind of a closed off one. All the other packs are kinda open for anyone to make on their own. STEP Core and Extended are pretty much open for suggestions and feedback, but the STEP Team makes all the final decisions.

ACCEPTED Audio Overhaul for Skyrim (by David Jegutidse)
EssArrBee replied to Neovalen's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Yeah that name is find for the wiki page. Keeping the titles easy makes it easy to link to the page from other wiki pages. If we are considering this mod then we will also have to include the DLC patch since we doing away with vanilla support and going with LE only. There is a full LE version on michealrw's nexus page among some other patches for popular mods. I think we need to get him back over here to get an MTs opinion about where this mod is best suited vs the other STEP mods. -
First thing is to redownload the file and see if the one you got was corrupted somehow. Then see if it is packaged correctly when you install it.
-
Should I setup a regular mod page for this, one that can be used with the STEP guide or should I set up a page that has all the info needed and maybe the current readme posted for users? I don't think there is a readme in the archive posted on the nexus so it would be a good to have it linked under the files section on the nexus page or somewhere else for users to get it. Forgetting things in your old age :p

Try adjusting the slider. That worked for me. -

With speakers I had no need of the reverb patch, just on headphones or ear buds and I tested with both. One thing I'll say about the realism front is that nature does not have that much base. I've spent many grips just hiking and camping in the woods and have yet to run into natures subwoofers unless there was thunder. This mod just kept coming at me with the lows though and that kind bothered me a bit. I did like how on solsthiem I could here the silt strider moans from the top of the mountains. That made the game feel more alive. If anything it is an improvement over vanilla in enough places that it should be a base to build from or we can drop a few mods to save plugins spaces. -
I added a quickstart tab to the ENB guide for ENB Profiles and ENBoost. It has pretty pictures and stuff. I'm trying to ELI5 it for ease of use since some users will just want to install it play Skyrim without a bunch of other stuff. Please give feedback to that section on the ENB guide. If you are a noob or less experienced user tell me if it helped or you still don't understand and why. Anything helps.

Stumped on Making Merge Patch with Creation Kit
EssArrBee replied to alexbeugelsdijk's question in Other Utilities Support
Ahh... Okay glad you found it because I was about test it out. I don't usually use Ultimate Whiterun, but might have to check it out. -
I just tested both 2.2.7 and 2.2.8 and I could absorb dragon souls, not sure what was going on with your game z. STEP Core is just rock solid for me, and all the LOD work that has done lately is well worth the effort. Lost Tongue Overlook is a good place to view the aspens.

Stable uGridsToLoad (by Altimor)
EssArrBee replied to hellanios's question in Other Utilities Support
That is my sentiment as well. uGrids affects saves in a negative way and this mod fixes that. I would not say this is core and probably put it next to something like Borderless Windows with a note that users that do not intend to change uGrids from the default have no real reason to use this, but everyone else this could benefit. -
The BoS and GDO stuff is resolved. I double checked last night and there was nothing between those to mods that wasn't in the patch, but I did find a couple things I missed between USKP and BoS, so that was good. My latest upload last night reflect those changes for both the 2.2.7 and 2.2.8 patches. I will check out the dragons right now.

ACCEPTED Come Together N Out of the Way (by Nausicaa)
EssArrBee replied to Quitch's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I will give this mod an okay after testing it a bit, but the extra features may be a bit outside of Core if you look at the extra features it adds, but those extras do not ever have to be used. The mod is set up to be completely modular so if you don't like the extras, you will never even know they are there. I couldn't break the settings and could get the important part to work okay. The followers all moved out of the way. There is extra stuff to move followers around if you need them to stand in a certain place or if you want to add them to an essential list. That is really weird. First you get them in your activator reticule and press f2 (that is changeable via MCM), after you hit f2 they turn green and you open the MCM menu and there will be some options for them and you can do a bunch of stuff to move them around. As far as them getting out of the way, there is a delay that can be set and I put it on 0 which actually worked. As soon as I ran in my follower she stepped back about five steps. The other cool feature is that followers can be set to stand a certain distance from doorways, so if you run through a doorway they still follow, but will run through it a bit further instead of standing in the damn way. Also, couldn't get it to bug out after changing the settings about 20 times in 5 minutes. I think EFF might have a couple of the features in this, but I can't see them conflicting unless those features are set in both mods and both mods have to have it set by the user, so that shouldn't be a problem. And doesn't matter to the guide, but it is good info for anyone that might make a follower pack. -
You Can Now Open NXM Files Using Multiple Programs
EssArrBee replied to Uhuru's question in Mod Organizer Support
That might be the nexus, I've been downloading and testing mods all day and have had to download them all manually. MO would not work for me at all. You might have set it right, but the site is experiencing problems. -
Yeah, I looked it over and everything is good. Umm, I did notice one thing I didn't forward from USKP and BoS Skyforge Weapons. No big deal. It would be best to have kryp do the patch for the dragonborn closed face helmets since it is a replacer and can't be merged. I can fix it temporarily in the STEP Patch and merge the Dawnguard closed face helmet to the STEP Patch. Every plugin spot helps those that add tons of stuff on top of STEP Core (like me). Kryp got permission to reupload those patches, so the author is probably pretty cool and will give us permission to add them to a compilation. One question, why did you upload the WL and WL-SoS patches? Those are defunct with the update to WL and the removal of candle lanterns of the north. Plus I removed any mention from the readme.
-
Technically everything is mergeable if you go into the Creation Kit. I need to ask kryp because she made three separate patches and it would make sense to have one or merge it if that is possible. The mods would still be needed, but the plugins could disappear. EDIT: I could only merge the Dawnguard plugin and WAF does not have a Dragonborn patch yet.
-
No, those are replacer patches that kryp made herself. You forgo the original plugins the author made for kryps so the helmets have WAF stats.

ACCEPTED Dragons Shout with Voice (by pauderek)
EssArrBee replied to WilliamImm's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
The dragon in Skyrim have their own language and the words of power are where the shouts come from. The Dovah says the words when you are playing so this mod does the same for dragons.- 50 replies
