  1. Did you follow the directions for enboost on the wiki? We layed out to get it working pretty easily. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Sheson made code for memory. People compiled the code. People got happy. Statues of Sheson are currently in planning phaze.
  3. If SoS was supported then I would say sure add it to Core, but since it doesn't even support USKP 2.0 it means that it requires a lot of patching. I know that doesn't mean anything to people that don't do all the patching, but I wouldn't mind keeping it out. Unsupported mods like Skyrim HD or other replacers are fine, but mods that edit as many cells as SoS need support.
  4. I added the little black arrow to the directions on the ENB Quickstart tab just because I couldn't figure it out the first time I tried ENB way back when GTAIV was melting GPUs.
  5. It's a core mod in the the fixes section.
  6. Are we upgrading SOS dungeons to Core? I thought all three of those mods were Extended.
  7. Did you reset your INIs to default when you reinstalled Skyrim? Also, make sure you deleted the d3d9.dll from your Skyrim directory. Since you are using MO, make a new profile and start up vanilla skyrim with SPM and see if it better.
  8. Your GPU shouldn't be getting to 92 degrees unless it is running and it isn't running unless there is data moving through it to process. I'd say that SPM isn't registering your VRAM usage somehow because no CPU alone is running Skyrim at 35 FPS with your mod setup. Do you have an ENB or SweetFX, some kind of post-processing effect install? Those can be tricky for SPM.
  9. Umm... 818 FPS? I don't think you need that many. If you are using windowed mode then you need to open up Catalyst Control Center and turn the FPS limiter to like 60 or less. Skyrim doesn't like anything over 60 or stuff starts flying around.
  10. You need to just go to the enb download and grab the latest binary. There is a little black arrow at the bottom that you click to download the files. It should be about 2 to 2.5 MB. No mod manager, since the author hosts the files himself. https://enbdev.com/mod_tesskyrim_v0246.htm
  11. Are you serious? Did you not just read my post about putting an end to this line of discussion? If you aren't contributing the discussion about this mod directly then do not post about this any more. We aren't going to solve anything by bickering with keyboards. I'd hate to have to freeze this forum until the morning because we can't get back on topic.
  12. Okay, we've now heard this from both sides, had two admins, a mod, and a bunch of members comment on it. That is enough, and everyone should get back to documenting their experience with the mod. There was lots of excitement over Safety Load when it came out and it turned out to have a few problems, now we have this which seems like the next step (pun) toward a more stable Skyrim. Not everyone is going to see positive effects and others will never have issues ever again. Hopefully the SKSE guys approve of the code and can implement it, so we get the most stable and properly supported DLL available to all. Until then lets get this thread back on track.
  13. Yeah I will look it all over in a bit, but it is time for beer and tacos.
  14. I'll have to look it over with the updated version of the modlist. I've been testing and playing around with this stuff all day though, so I need a couple hours to do something else, mostly drink, maybe eat. Beer is the bread group right?
  15. I don't want people looking at others choices. I would rather just have peoples first impression. Even with the differing stuff I can still eliminate things and already have based on what I know about each set. I'll probably end up with two lists anyways. One for step and one for neo based on what he likes to put in srle. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Alright great input from everyone. I can see that opinions vary from person to person. That is pretty much want I wanted to get out of this, but I can still kinda get a consensus on a couple things which means I can remove certain textures from consideration. Anything that narrows the choices is great for me and my eyes, which are shot at this point. Testing DB is the real '50 Shades of Gray'.
  17. Okay I added the current added and dropped to the OP for reference to the changlog, but what are we dropping in the sound section with AOS being implemented? Are we keeping everything? Left out the first couple sections with extenders and memory patches. We can address that if the SKSE team doesn't update this weekend. Did we not have a snow texture in STEP? Could not find one that HQ Snow would replace, no way we didn't have a snow mod. Are the changlogs a template, or just a regular page? I think once we know about the sound section we can decide how many more mods we want to put in 2.2.8. We can accept maybe one mod for the DB landscape and then I can continue working on a mish mash afterward and update post release. Save forts, farmhouses, and anything else for next release and hopefully phazer and tech will be back to help.
  18. If I'm mixing up textures for comparisons, do I need to disable the corresponding meshes that come with VL? If I don't hide the meshes and hide the textures will it cause problems without the parallax textures?
  19. It off loads memory to a separate process so you don't hit the memory limit of a 32 bit program. You need to set up ENBoost in enblocal.ini under the [MEMORY] section. https://wiki.step-project.com/ENBoost EDIT: ignore the first part where you set the graphics line to true. That disables ENB graphics.
  20. I'll test this out when I get a chance. Alt-tabbing and windowed mode are such a pain in the ass to me, hopefully this will make things better.
  21. Yeah, it makes ELFX and SMIM compatible and you need to install those meshes after both mods.
  22. The textures used in 9 and 10 are actually pretty similar from mod to mod. Keep an eye in the foreground for those shots, the far away stuff, every mod looks pretty similar.
  23. SMIM is static mesh improvement mod. Make sure to sort the left pane by priority. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Wow tech, you have been gone way to long. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Yes, depending on the options you chose for SMIM it can have 3 plugins. The base, a snowy chest, and a Dragonborn Tern fix plugin. The one that USKP make redundant is the base plugin: StaticMeshImprovementMod.esp. The other two you still need if you want those changes since USKP does not include those.
