  1. Run some kind of task manager in the background that measures gpu usage and see if it is being used while Skyrim is on. ENBoost does say it is using my discrete GPU but it is still being used.
  2. Also easier for BOSS.
  3. You need Consistent Older People 18 All NPCs Loose Assets for Core and Consistent Older People 18 All NPCs BOYD compatible Loose Assets for Extended.
  4. You can just set the data directory over and over and over until you get the right one.
  5. Yes leave them unchecked in MO, the cross in WB tells you they are merged into Bashed Patch. You should check every box in the right pane of the bashed patch for merge patches, import stats, import names as well. Thanks for all the feedback.
  6. I think we will just ignore you. There is no defense for against apathy. :p
  7. I didn't update the patches yet for the latest versions of the patches since they seam to have a staggered release for the 2.0.2 go around. UDBP still hasn't come out, so I might just wait unless I can find a real problem. Oh and remember that you need to sort them properly. BOSS doesn't sort them correctly as false flagged ESMs.
  8. Did you run boss?
  9. Thanks for the report. I'll look into it.
  10. The later. MO should just let you replace the current udgp.
  11. The only ones that allow you to disable plugins have a little broom icon next to the esp.
  12. The BOSS GUI has a user rules manager. It just isn't as versatile as bum.
  13. I think we need little bum icons for directions like we have for MO.
  14. No meshes or scripts in the hrdlc though. You can just unpack and skip any files listed in DDSopt.ini listed in the guide when optimizing with a different program.
  15. That is up to you, just remember to remove the Skyforge Weapon plugin and you won't be able to use any STEP Patches, so that means you have to go back to using all the patches it covers.
  16. You can do that, but there are so many textures in those HRDLC that some files might break if they are optimized. You'll know they are broken because they show up as purple in game. These are usually the monochromatic textures. As far as I know SMCO and Optimizer Textures both skip those type of files.
  17. Alright, the patch plugin goes after both of the mod's plugins. So somewhere after the plugin for mod A & B place the patch plugin. Always, and forever unless BOSS sorts it for you.
  18. I just checked the file and it was correct. Maybe download it again. You should be installing from the Download tab too. That way you can see the archive listed and make sure the name is correct in the pop up box.
  19. "Nexus is bad, STEP is good... mmmkay children." "Okay Mr. Macky." We instruct users to place it where the older plguins were sorted by BOSS. The author had to change the names of the plugins when a bunch of compatibility plugins were created.
  20. Your BOSS log should have a link to instructions for ifxing BOSS to sort the mods properly.
  21. With MO you can make multiple installs of a mod by giving it a different name for each install. This is valuable when setting up different profiles. If I make a profile for a pure STEP install then I just install XPMS as it's regular name that MO gives it with the STEP Options. If I'm setting up a new profile for my survivalist playthrough, then I install the mod again and name it something else, like appending " - Frostfall" to the end of XPMS, so I know that it has the Frostfall options. I don't think you will need to ignore Wet & Cold since it has Frostfall compatibility built in.
  22. It goes after the plugin that loads last. If mod A's plugin loads last then the patch goes after it, and if mod B's plugin loads last then the patch goes after it.
  23. Yeah, I'm just looking at the fomod for BoS, but I was thinking that there was something like the tutorial/example that metallicow did for WizBAINs. That thing was seriously in depth. You could do almost anything with that installer and it is python-ish, so I approve of it over this HTML whatever-ness.
  24. The fonts can't crash skyrim. There is something messed up.
  25. Is there a good fomod tutorial you know of? I want to write a couple myself, but can't really find anything that isn't, "look at this example xml and figure the rest out on your own"...
