  1. I can't post links by copy-pasting a url. Other users have mentioned this as well. The link button works for me.
  2. Have the same problem with external editing. I can't get it to log in as me.
  3. Role back to MO v1.1.1 if you are using v1.1.2
  4. I knew something was up a couple weeks ago when I saw BSAOpt re-uploaded with no comments and the description was just copy-pasted from the real BSAOpt page. Glad I didn't download it.
  5. NMCs Large has a mix of 4k/2k/1k and the Medium has 2k/1k/512. Neil also optimizes his textures, I ran them through DDSopt once and it didn't even correct any mip levels. The problem I have is that I like Neil's stuff in some places and I like tapioks' stuff in some places, but I just haven't gone back into screenshot mode yet. Not enough hours in the day. At least I found out that the menu in Nevada Skies was just not working for me at first, but it does now for some reason. The frequency of storms can be adjusted so there isn't a rain storm in the desert ever other day. I think I'm going to stick with it until I have time to go through EVE, companions and quests. Also, think that Fear and Loathing in New Vegas would be a good name since I want this guide to have graphics in places and there are lots of those Ralph Steadman drawings around, plus lots of VaultBoy icons too. I'll try out some different things as I go. Added Weather and Lighting section and WMX today and updated OP a bit.
  6. Either that or use the steam screenshots. It ever puts the photos in a folder and a nice little pop will show up after you close the game. Using enb or skyrim's screens puts them in the game directory which adds clutter.
  7. I don't want to use 4k textures that is overkill unless you have 4gb of VRAM. I won't be recommending NMCs large pack either for the same reason. Stick to a mix of 2k and 1k textures will make your game stable.
  8. Gameplay packs can be added, but not removed. STEP Core can be added or removed. STEP Extended can be added, but not removed.
  9. You don't need a an account with imgur to use their service. I just use the imgur Extension by Metronomik. It opens up a new tab and you just drag and drop photos into that tab and it uploads everything and and can give you a link really quickly. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/imgur-extension-by-metron/ehoopddfhgaehhmphfcooacjdpmbjlao?hl=en
  10. If you get the torrent that is linked to on the guide then those files are removed.
  11. I'd rather just use the one linked to from the NVSE page. That seems like the easiest thing for users to handle. I think I used to use the NTCore solution. Currently the solution for using ENBoost only seems to be using the Injector version. That even works for Window 8, when you add the 4gb loader exe to the list in the injector.ini. I'm wondering if that solution will work for Windows 8 users. I know that the Injector version is a solution. Do you use windows 8?
  12. No clue, but it may be that IA7 loads so many assets. The mcm menu can take forever to load up.
  13. That's what I use.
  14. Use an alternate start mod. The intro sequence is pretty resource intensive and I'm sure your are sick of going through it over and over.
  15. You can copy paste urls and they auto shorten. URWLNV is built for enb compatibility but you need to follow the readme since some tweaking is required. I'll look into the 4gb loader and the terrain textures. Thanks for that.
  16. What about LNAM? I'm betting that FormIDs would get merged. That would really create a mess if they didn't.
  17. I like the look of Nevada skies, but I don't like that storms happen constantly. It gets annoying when I want to just run around the wasteland and another sand storm hits. It is just to frequent for me and I might look at the URWLNV beta that the Blackout ENB author is doing. It is like nevada skies and URWL combined.
  18. This is part if XCE. It is even the same author.
  19. Lots of files were missing. I think almost a gigs worth of stuff didn't even show up in the extracted BSA. I'd be weary of using it in it's current form unless it somehow detects duplicates and errors with on the fly corrections. That would be amazing by the way.
  20. I know I just got The Stick of Truth and want to sit down with that, but I want to finish this guide up. You might wait to use my guide until I do the weather/lighting, WMX, EVE, and patching sections.
  21. Development on NVSE has been continued by hlp. The memory patch from sheson has been ported to work for FNV in NVSE v4.2beta3 on the NVSE site. To get it to work you have to go into data/NVSE and create an ini with the name "nvse_config.ini". Then open the ini and add this: [Memory]DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=400 <-recommended valueThe default value is 200 and the hardcoded max value is <500. I've used 400 and I haven't had any crashes in conjunction with the 4GB loader and ENBoost. I've tested it for about 10 hours with the mods I have on the guide I made for FNV, plus some weather and lighting stuff I'm testing right now, with no crashes, ILS, or freezes. Without the patch I was getting a lot of slow down with the inventories and pip boy taking almost 2 seconds to load after a couple hours of playing, but that is completely gone now. I played for about 4 hours straight last night and didn't get any problems.
  22. It is probably the compass setting for immersive HUD that the problem. Go to the mcm setting for that mod and change the compass.
  23. He even removed the proxy section once. Then he added some intro text that he didn't support using the proxy. Then he switched it back to normal.
  24. 1.25 is a perk every 4 levels, but you don't count level 1 since you start at level one. You start at level 2 so you could go with 2=1.25 to get it started at 5, and then go with 6=1.20 like you said to make 5,10,15... 2=1.25 is more like 5,9,13... and 2=1.20 is 6,11,16. It is just confusing because it starts at level 2.
