  1. Well, the STEP guide will lead you to the section that ENBoost is located, but you should click the detailed instructions to go to the ENBoost page where the directions are clear. Just don't follow the wrapper (extract d3d9.dll) and instead get the ENBinjector.exe and injector.ini in its place. Follow the rest of the guide accordingly.
  2. Updated OP with a few rock texture screens. Need some feedback between EWI's and NMCs.
  3. Yes, enblocal is dependent on your system.
  4. Copy works like Dropbox where you drag and drop into the copy folder, but if you install the app it adds options to the right click menu that will load the address to your clipboard for easy pasting.
  5. I have a browser extension called snaplinks that lets you create a box by holding right click. Then all the links in the box will open as separate tabs in the browser, which is super useful to avoid the image pop we have now. The problem now, is that snaplinks doesn't work with the embedded images on IPB like it did with myBB. Not sure why it doesn't work, but maybe the site just doesn't count the embedded stuff as a true link.
  6. I don't body mods overwrite this? Or does the tint layers from the esp still apply this over players with a separate body mod? I have a feeling that I'm going to have to fix this in the patches, but I really don't want to do that myself. It just seems like I shouldn't have to fix a fix.
  7. I've never had an issue with the silver like you had, so check that you checked all the correct mods USKP and WAF (and probably CCF if you have it) in the Names part of the Bashed Patch menu. The Pre-Install notes clearly states that we want users to read the readme. This is a much better solution to users that want the knowledge of what they are doing. To add in more to the guide works against what we are trying to do by streamlining the guide and making it much easier to use. We took the long form approach for a while and figured out it causes way more issues.
  8. Wrye Bash reads the bash tags in the .txt file that BOSS/LOOT uses to sort your plugins and adds them to the plguins. You just have to generate a new Bashed Patch a make sure those mods are checked for those tags and 'BOOM' it will forward the parts of records those tags correspond to. Do not depend on STEP to hold your hand through the explanation of everything. BOSS and Wrye Bash both have comprehensive readmes and many support threads on the nexus and beth forums to ask questions and seek out info. We would need at least double the amount of contributors to the STEP wiki to cover all the info involved.
  9. Leave all the UPPs installed and toggle only the UDGP to see if it from the changes that dawnguard made to the vampire races. This will help narrow it down.
  10. In wrye flash just find the plugin that is red, then look at it's masters in the right pane. There is a box that lists all the masters of a plugin and if it is missing one, then it will be red.
  11. It all depends on the line you pick, both Seagate and WD have crap lines and good lines. I use Seagate's SSHD line mostly for speed and it comes with a 3 year instead of 2 year warranty. If you get one, it will half you boot up speed after a couple uses with that Adaptive Memory thingy. I'd still like to see double or triple the size of the flash memory they include, only 8GB right now. I would pay an extra 20-30 bucks for more NAND flash with a 4TB drive and 3 year warranty, that sounds about right for me.
  12. You can use DDSopt but it is not very user friendly, so using something else may be easier. There may be a newer version of Wrye flash, but it doesn't matter what version you use.
  13. I've only owned one WD hard drive and it lasted me a while. Back in 500gb 3.5 inch days, so years ago. Right now I'm using Seagate SSHDs for my main storage. I've had few of them for laptop and desktop storage without any major issues. Most were from newegg and I beat the hell out of my stuff.
  14. Thanks for the heads up, but I have three files shown for that mod and Weapon Animations Replacer only overwrites one file. They are both made by joefoxx, so I'm going to let that one overwrite stand. If someone has the whole mod overwritten let me know, maybe different options cover different files.
  15. The second issue may be from a mod like Less Intrusive HUD II or whatever you may use for moving HUD elements around.
  16. SP is back and just dropped 2.0 for this mod. Didn't have the chance to see what he added, but if it is a major update then we should look into it. Why can't we just get SP and isuko to make one water mod to rule them all?
  17. Pointing you to the discussion will not help either. I was apart of it and I don't even understand it. Would only confuse you. Just add it to the INIs in the editor and don't think about it too much.
  18. MO probably does pick it up, but v1.1.2 changed the way INI work and I'm not sure that it will not change again. I wouldn't worry about it or just add it in from the INI Editor.
  19. The newest script says it works for Fnvedit too. I used it on my Adam merged plugin and I can't find any issues with. I have only tested the nemesis, outcast, ncr patrol, and rangers on patrol parts, but I have no reason to believe the other couple parts don't work.
  20. I want to know what happened to Silence spells and poisons that let you stop mages from casting spells. Sometimes when I think back to other TES games, it makes me think that Skyrim isn't lore friendly to franchise.
  21. The one thing that has always gotten to me was that Beth gives their game to everyone to mod freely and you can do whatever you want to their work, but modders don't give their work freely for everyone to do whatever they want. Am I missing something? I think if the precedent is set by the original creators, who happen to put up 80 million dollars of their company's money, then it should flow downward unimpeded. I'd like to see the cathedral thing going on, but only for modding or other open communities, not a fan of all mediums having that type of ideal in place. If I ever actually make a mod, I'm going to have to use that Wrye Modding License.
  22. The torrent is already a mix of 1k and 2k and it is already optimized with the redundant files removed. No one has claimed they are the ones that put it up, but I'm 99% sure it was a STEP staffer that put it up. Edit: There is a file I uploaded in a post on the AMB Farmhouse thread. It lists all the files that were redundant.
  23. The torrent version removes all the redundant files. The only other way to know is get the compressonator and run it against the vanilla files to know which are doubles.
  24. Or just turn off the roads in the MCM menu...?
  25. Oh, one thing I forgot to mention about FNVEdit and the merge plugin script is that it will not work properly unless FNVEdit's folder is in the FNV folder.
