  1. EVE is basically, a futuristic banking simulator. Good training for using Excel. The time dilation thing in EVE helps a bit, but unfortunately only for the stats of when things happened, not the gameplay. Didn't Star Citizen already raise over 40 million? That is a ton of cash, but I don't see how you make a MMO with that much, they usually require over 100 million to develop. The project is just so ambitious though that you can't ignore what is going on with it. I wonder how doing a monthly subscription based MMO will work nowadays. I don't know that it can work with all the garbage free-to-play stuff out there.
  2. Try setting maximum FPS to your browser refresh rate or to 0. Also, talk to sky ranger and show hi your logs. He is actively developing the stutter remover for better performance and heap replacement.
  3. Report it to your AV provided as a false positive. There is nothing wrong with LOOT.
  4. STEP Packs aren't really officially supported until 2.3.0, but we do what we can for them. Plus, any pack that requires STEP Core or Extended can't be updated until we update the guide.
  5. Okay, I've looked through the textures in Hall of Equipment and the textures are just upscaled vanilla textures. If installing them, do it before any other clothing armor mods. That will let you overwrite them with the other mods. In the guide put it right before Wasteland clothing Hires retexture.
  6. Is there a way to spot textures that DDSOpt shouldn't touch like the monochromatic stuff? Can I search the logs for something specific? I'm hoping that trial and error isn't the only method.
  7. Spice of Life is pre tagged by BOSS or the mod author built it into the plugin description somehow. Willow shouldn't need it because it changes the Willow record from WillowNV.esp and that isn't tagged, so it shouldn't merge around the FCO-Willow.esp. Haven't looked at Courier Vests yet. I'm about to do some more examination of the big weapon mods now. One thing also, is the boa helmet plugin, not the glove one, is obsolete. Plus it adds the leveled list it changed was the wrong one or it added the wrong item to leveled list. I'll update the guide to reflect tomorrow. I'm pretty much done for the night.
  8. Playing around with Wrye Flash, I found that the Melissa fix NPC.Race tag since the FCO.esp has it too or the fix isn't applied. Also, the Trooper Overhaul-Dragbody.esp needs Invent, Relev, and Stats.
  9. I see that, so I will mention and link that in the guide when I rewrite the intro section again.
  10. They are from character creation I believe. Racemenu makes backups in case it crashes while in the chargen menu. You might just drag and drop the whole folder from your overwrite to racemenu folder and overwrite if asked.
  11. He used the same name for most of his patches that michaelrw used, so only one or two might not sort correctly. Just use the old patches and new patches in your load order when you sort. Then make a userrule for the new patch and put it right behind the old patch, then delete the old patches from your load order.
  12. Read the AOS wiki page for new instructions.
  13. The STEP Nexus page? Here let me show you... EDIT: That probably didn't help, but you get the idea.
  14. You have no clue how much I will not miss patching this mod's Cell and Worldspace edits. Well, you did Navmesh patching so you probably do have an idea of how tedious that stuff is. Anyways, the SoS mods will not be missed by me.
  15. I don't understand the question, can you be more specific?
  16. IDK, but lots of compatibility with other mods is already taken into consideration on the mod's page, so it looks good to me. We can assign a tester to look at it with both Core and Extended, then just go from there.
  17. Real Shelter - Full Release by Robinsage This is the re-release of this mod I guess. It covers everything except Dragonborn. Lots of compatibility with other mods like CoT, RLO, ELFX, WATER, Frostfall, .... I think this is an excellent mod that is a great idea. Pretty simple, shelter provides shelter from precipitation.
  18. Detailed instructions updated for this mod.
  19. I dropped this mod from the guide. It is out of date and will be added if it is updated with a merged ESP replacer for Legendary Edition. Also, I can't figure out the tags, what is going on with that? The 'Edit Tags' button didn't work. NVM
  20. Agree with what you are saying as I go forward this be more of a feedback and suggestions thread for the guide, not for everything. I linked the support forum in the guide intro as well, so maybe people that. I will also make a pinned topic with posting guidelines, to get the ball rolling, people hate being the first to post for help, they don't want other to think they are dumb because the internet is so viscous. As far as closing that other thread, I had to do it. I changed the name of the guide and this topic reflects the new name and that thread started in the Fallout sub forum and was moved to it's own sub-forum. Also, it had become a one-size-fits-all thread, so I closed it at the 300 post mark so all the info I need is not lost in the infinite pages of posts upon posts. This thread has already become a place where people are posting feedback with mod lists and updates to mods that affects the guide.... That is my goal for this thread and I will start making other threads that address different issue to split it up as I have more time. Also, I may version this guide out so feedback threads are for each version of the guide as I work on it a put out major updates, like this weekend, which will stop 100 page threads. Work, family, girlfriend, they always seem to take up my time in waves instead of being spread out. You know what I'm saying... I think I just looked in BUM for NVEC and put everything with that mod, since they do about the same thing, but I think I also followed Drumber's advice on his page, there was a description. Also, I do like that some questions are posted here that are minor, because they are usually problems that arise from my writing of the guide, so that doesn't need a new thread, but real issues should get a thread. Something like other mods that are okay to add to the list, like armor, weapons, and quests... Thanks, I'll look over the patch to see what is in there and get a better idea about what I want to do. Yeah, that is what I do with my playthroughs. If I get to point where I've taken the character as far as I want it go then I just blow it up with new mods, but I don't usually touch things till that point.
  21. I'm on it, but will be another 90 minutes before I have time to do it. I'm currently only able to leave a few posts here and there, but don't have time to go to the mod lists and all that stuff.
  22. Should be dropped now not for 2.2.9. That is what I think should happen also add AOS patches to the drop list and just the patches on the AOS page or use the step patches which all pack authors are free to use to patch their packs to better incorporate compatibility with step. I'll update this a little later if no one else does. I actually have to some real work for a couple hours… booooooo.
  23. Your mod list is making me think that there is something wrong with MO's handling of FNV. It is probably the reason I can't get it to start. If you can get the game to start and run without crashes I'd leave the modlist. Fnv is to unstable to rock the boat in the middle of a play through. Except for the AUG from millennia, that is for walking dead fans, let's you play with the gov's assault rifle. I noticed that green eyes thing too, it even overwrite some yup fixes that added in eye color. What did you do about the conflicts between yup and ilo? There were tons of those. Your mod list looks pretty good, you shouldn't add any of the mods that you haven't activated unless your okay with messing up your saves. Can you package and upload your patches so I can look at them?
  24. Any companion mods in that setup? I had everything going perfectly until I got to the gameplay section. Then I added Willow and few gameplay mods and the game just would not launch. I removed all the mods I just installed and then the game wouldn't start. I'm going through the guide, but my resolve is waining. I may need to go play something else for a couple days. I'm so tired of FNVEdit, TES5Edit, BOSS, MO, LOOT, and everyhting else. I think I'm going to play The Stick of Truth for a day to recharge.
