  1. Yeah as long as nothing overwrites it. Check out the conflicts tab for the mod.
  2. Do you have the BSA ticked in the BSA tab? remember that Arthmoor uses BSAs for his mods.
  3. Okay, done with adding those mods. I have 99 plugins in my test build which is really stable and haven't had a crash in a while. Had some freezes from trying to purposely break things, so the guide is stable in it's current state short of the Flahslight NVSE problems people have reported.
  4. Okay, I'll check it when I'm at home. In other news, I added a small section to the Post Install section that links another page to MCM settings that I use. I'm also going to open that section up to other users that may want to recommend their own MCM settings since I doubt most users will like mine. All you have to do is create a page using a simple format: https://wiki.step-project.com/User:<Username>/Fear_and_Loathing_MCM_Settings. Check the page I made to check out a simple format, I spent about 20 minutes on it so it isn't like special or anything. If you make a page drop the link in this forum or PM me with it and I will add it to the section so users have a choice. Who doesn't like having options, am I right? Also, I'm adding Tales, Sortomatic, Tales PN, Tales Sortomatic today. I tried to break Tales best I could and just couldn't really do it while it was used with my guide. I'm sure there is a way to do it, but the point is that you would have to go out of your way to do that, so it works for this guide and is compatible. New Vegas Bounties 1 and 2 is next or testing. Thanks to OrdinaryM for testing it out already with this guide. It helps when others have played through and I don't have to do all the stress testing that usually goes into things.
  5. I can't find a place where the Hunting Revolver record from the WMX-ArenovalisTextures.esp isn't used by Bashed Patch. Make sure to use the Graphics tag as well. I'll look into this when I get home. I haven't done a small guns playthrough in a while. Mostly did a rifles and energy weapon playthrough for testing since I started.
  6. Also, I forgot to mention that Pelinor has returned to FNV modding, so ask him to improve the Glow Sticks mod.
  7. There really isn't a perfect solution for the darker nights type playthrough. Flashlight NVSE seems to give people problems, me included. I don't have game breaking bugs and everything functions fine, but it drops my FPS sometimes if I use the flashlights outside. I think some of it comes from ENB even if I turn the effects off, it still adds in a few things, since the UseSpeedHackWithoutGraphics isn't included. I may have to scourer the Nexus for something that works for lighting the way.
  8. If are not starting from scratch when doing those mods then you may have issues. I know the whole hierarchy of files but it is from days of playing with the mods till I figured it all out. I may have to make a list of what your data tab should look like and what the XML files should look like after running uHUD.
  9. No you just drag and drop in windows explorer.
  10. Skyrim only loads the texture that loads last in your install order all the rest are ignored by the game. It isnt good or bad because it doesn't affect anything.
  11. Seems like many people have problems with this mod. I was looking through some of the comments and I guess issues with mod are common. I didn't really notice it to much on prior playthroughs or my own play testing. One thing I have noticed is that with ENB on this mod slows my FPS down by 50% when outdoors, but only for a few seconds. Also, the FPS can drop when shining the light farther away than up close. I may review it if to many other people end up with issues. I really like that it helps with the darker nights, but we may be using a different mod if problems persist. Maybe the glow stick mod or I'll make Cateye work for longer, like 12 minutes.
  12. When you install a mod, it uses the meta data to figure out what the archive was that the mod came from. The problem that have is if you put multiple files into the same folder, only the last file you installed with be reinstalled. I recommend using the original archive from the downloads tab and install the mod again. When asked just click replace when doing so. Then if the mod has additional files those need to be install again too, but click merge.
  13. 2.2.9 changes pretty often since it is under development.
  14. MO can localize saves for each profile which limits the number of save Wrye bash see on load. Also, delete some saves, why do you need 900 of anything expect dollars and tacos? Edit: MO also let's you enable all plugins at once. Right click on the plugins.
  15. We won't hate on lover's lab links, but we wouldn't want a thread full of nfsw links from there. They have some good projects going there like hdt physics extension. I didn't know they had their own FOMM project so I might to look at it.
  16. Can I extend the 'mark solved' button to F&L NV support forum so the answered tag pops up. I want to start moving some more of the discussions about problems to that sub and would like that button for visibility.
  17. MO's BSA is an extra layer of file priority that I haven't gone into in the guide yet. I only leave the vanilla and Flashlight NVSE's BSAs ticked. It has worked out quite well for me so far. I know that you don't want to tick anything else down the line either due to the way files overwrite themselves.
  18. Tick only the vanilla BSAs and Flashlight NVSE, leave the rest un-ticked and see what happens.

  21. Are you running BOSS before starting the game? Sometimes it is easy to forget when installing mods one by one. Are clicking the BSAs in the archive tab? For some odd reason they can be weird with FNV if not clicking them.
  22. My suggestion is to make the esp and upload the tracks somewhere else to avoid copyright stuff. A lot old songs are past the point of public domain but others are not.

  24. Hmm. Hmm... guess I should have noticed that you use the same avatar image on both sites. I feel like many of Puce Moose's mods are in PN Rebalance, but I'll give it look again to see what else he has in there.
  25. I will be adding a few gameplay mods and them the rest will be probably quests. I might do some merged script sections if the guide gets bear the limit, but the guide only around 100 right now, so I don't worry about it yet.
