  1. I still had 1.7. MO didn't say it was wrong. I guess I'll have to change that. Merging certain ESMs really doesn't do the stuff people say it does. It's pretty much one little change in the plugin.
  2. GRARG.esp is definitely from Gun Runners Actually Run Guns. First letter of the words in the mod's title is GRARG. I found it insanely hard to follow all the steps when I went through the guide. I just felt like that stuff came out of brain so I shouldn't have to go over it again.
  3. Well, there is a few mods in testing. Biggest thing is the armor section and some quest mods.
  4. I moved the Additional Gameplay section around a bit to add in a merge of the smaller gameplay mods. That let me add a couple mods back in since there are now plugin slots for them. I should have some extra space for new mods with that. If you already have a game going do not do the new merge. Leave it until you start a new game.
  5. I'm done with the update. Packing everything up for upload right now, so everything will be on the Nexus tonight. For those of you who would prefer not to have to redownload the entire compilation, I'll add an update file first.
  6. All patches. I may need to clean them up a bit for redundant records, but they won't hurt anything. Mostly there is some stuff leftover from USLP regressions I believe. https://mega.nz/#!EQhVHAyD!tTNn2WaWQW48OYcFiVHOc0TOYfwrM9dkIEUz0a4OzWw Install one patch, rename to STEP Core/Extended Patch.esp so LOOT sorts correctly. Changelog: - updated for CRF 2.0.1 - updated for USLP 3.0.1 - updated for WAF 5.2 - updated for CCF 1.6 - updated for ICAIO 2.5 - added CRF-Elemental Staves patch Elemental Staves is not required for all patches. I'll have to add it to the installer. I'll make my second pass and add everything to the Nexus in a bit. EDIT: Sorry put the wrong the link. It's corrected now.
  7. It's not necessary anymore. YUP fixes all of them, so it's redundant.
  8. STEP extended patches. Preliminary version. I think there are a few redundancies that I need to remove, but nothing that is really going screw up your game. https://mega.nz/#!pcZEGBZQ!o9NilgDdMzfKKHoiQsgAwNId1JdtdExwB-2adtUbNKk Only install one and rename it to STEP Extended Patch.esp so LOOT sorts correctly. Will finish Core version in the morning. ICAIO probably needs an update to the CRF patch anyways, so these may end up being useless.
  9. Unfortunately, the Bashed Patcher isn't perfect. I sometimes see that certain things are backwards, so if I have two mods that both have the same tag, the higher mod will win, which violates the "Rule of One" concept. I think it is do to the code being backwards somewhere. Also, even if I have proper tags on come mods that are mergable, it will ignore it that. I'm think about making a general patch with Mator Smash and then releasing that as a plugin which will be the last plugin in the load order before you Bash it. Then the correct records should get merged.
  10. I'm using the new one. I don't think it makes a difference though. I ran the cut content merge through with both and it came back the same. Okay, so if a mod changes a record from it's master, then it gets that tag. If it doesn't then you don't want to tag it or else the mods higher in the load order that need to be forwarded around that mod will not do so. Unless you saying those mods need the tag, but it seems like you mean that Yuki's merged mod needs it.
  11. I expect most of his mods that need fixes forwarded to be updated. He is usually the first to patch for USLP since he releases the mod himself.
  12. Few of those are in testing already. JIP mod has already been tested by Mono and Explosive Immunity Fix I need to see in action because I hate that bug and would love to see the fix work. Annoying to launch a grenade at some big radscorpions and the explosion just slightly moves them over an inch. I'll check out a couple more if I get a chance. Thanks for the recommendations.
  13. Dammit. I was hoping that this wasn't releasing for a few days so I didn't have to update the STEP Patches. FML
  14. I'm already working on the next update. I knew about USLP being updated and have the beta already. I was hoping for Mator Smash or Wrye to update before it, but that might be asking to much. I keep telling myself this is the last time I have to update the patches fully before the patchers are ready to take over. Anyways, I'll probably finish the patches tonight and have them ready for USLP's update.
  15. That's an oversight on my part. I like Russell, but couldn't get it to work with F&L without issues.
  16. If you have the newest version then clean it. The older versions weren't able to clean the mod properly. FNV does something weird with trees/shrubs that the others didn't so it wouldn't work with earlier versions. I actually think it version 3.1.0 that they fixed it, but I couldn't remember, so I just put 3.1.2.
  17. That plugin prevents the ESM from being overwritten by other mods. You won't have that problem because the Bashed Patch will forward all the lighting changes that ILO's ESM makes. It's a redundant plugin that takes up a slot. Only users that don't use a bashed patch need it.
  18. https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/61045/? Someone added the dynamic backpack penalties from PN to Spice of Life. I am really close to the plugin limit with my current testing profile. I'm going to have to add more merges, or make the current merges include more mods, or drop a bunch of mods. I'm think DEIMOS and Flashlight NVSE. Love the latter, but it's buggy. I'm thinking of merging all the gameplay mods that aren't in the Yuki section except for Faction Armor Usage Enhancement (is a master for another plugin) and More Perks (has a merged ESM). That would really scale down the plugin number and give me some space to incorporate the armor sub page, new quests, and a few other mods. Oh my laptop fan started making some weird noise yesterday. Don't know if it's crapping out, but I may be limited in my testing.
  19. Mator Smash updates cannot come fast enough. :( Also, if you aren't going to start a new game, don't install the update. Your PC won't explode. I promise. ICAIO 2.4 is perfectly stable. I'll have the patches ready to update when USLP updates.
  20. I'll add to what Mono said. 3. Essential at this point the because FNV can only have 135 plugins before it becomes unstable. Bashing reduces this number because it can merge plugins into itself. You see all the green plugins when you start Wrye Flash. Those are mergeable. 4. Not sure. It may be solved after you bash your mods with proper tags. 5. Never used it myself. That thread is best source of info for it. EDIT: I should also add that you will never get 60 FPS across the board with FNV because of how poorly the game is optimized. The Strip and Freeside are the worse areas for this, but usually the rest of the game is okay. You have a a decent card, so you should expect any interior area to have great performance, but some outdoor areas may lag a bit. Some areas of the content mods aren't optimized all that well either. Beyond Boulder Dome had a few areas that hit my FPS pretty hard.
  21. Ignore it. You won't have any issues.
  22. Finally figured out why the Wattz Laser Rifle from PN doesn't work right with iron sights. Pretty easy fix too. Will add to the guide tomorrow. Bed time now.
  23. You would probably need to install both mods and put this one lower in the load order.
  24. Would be part of the restored sewers I guess. Makes the light level more appropriate. I changed the Game Tweaks section at the end of the guide. Now it's a mod in the Fixes section. You can go to the subpage and do it manually or download the plugin I made. The plugin is then merged with the other fixes. I did this so I could use that plugin as a patch to build onto with other fixes since the conflict resolution page is coming along. I've finally taken a good look at the YUP patches mod on the nexus and it seems okay. Needs an update for v10 though. I'll probably do it. Anyone can still test out my Crossbows plugin to see if the FPS drop in Goodsprings is gone. https://mega.nz/#!sM5HwDQJ!AnQm5_JH7LugUjG1xyObAL5FFAzOgIFPz8sxBHLKl_s I'll start putting my YUP patches out on the Nexus tomorrow or maybe tonight if I make a couple more. They are tiny patches.
  25. Didn't like Steam, but was okay with GFWL? That doesn't make sense.
