Help handling multiple installs of skyrim over a network
Farlo replied to cme's question in General Skyrim LE Support
I think you need to copy the entire Skyrim Mods folder since it has table.dat which has the mod installation details.Correct, if you grab that folder then you'll get the order as well. Just place the "Skyrim Mods" folder in the same place on the other machine, then boot up WB. From there go to the Installers tab, right-click the top bar, and click "Install all...". -
Help handling multiple installs of skyrim over a network

If you're using WB you should just be able to copy/paste the entire "Bash Installers" folder (usually under Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Mods) to the other machine. -
It's getting science-y up in here!... Sorry, I'll go back to hiding from this thread...:hurr:

Might as well, it's proving to be a real pain so I just gave up and settled on an over-HDR-ified preset for now.

Apparently setting everything on my monitor to default values, including the OS stuff, it looks like crap. Everything's dark and muted... for example, the forum's navbar is almost the same color as the background. Now I've screwed around with it so much that I can't fix it :(

That site doesn't have mine: ASUS VH236H, can you point me to one?

DROPPED Enhanced Projectile Soul Trap (by William Imm)
Farlo replied to WilliamImm's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Moved thread to the Anthology and updated OP with "header". -
DROPPED Realistic Ragdoll and Force (by dDefinder)
Farlo replied to TechAngel85's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Moved to Animations & Effects. If the mod's already included in STEP it's thread should be in the Anthology. Actually, since v2.2.1 is pretty much pinned down we should start doing this for all the newly included mods. This deserves a discussion in the Moderator thread (or at least not here), but I'm not sure if we ever came to a conclusion on whether or not to keep removed mods in the Anthology or move them back to the Suggestions forum. -
DROPPED Unofficial Dragonborn Patch (by Unofficial Patch Project Team)
Farlo replied to rootsrat's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I'll add it when I get home from school! -
Could anyone point me to a good, preferably free, monitor calibrator site/program? I know one was linked to quite a while ago, but I've long since lost the URL (and I am far too lazy to Google). Just bought Bioshock 2 off a friend and upon launching the game it decided it didn't like my brightness/contrast settings and thought it would be a good idea to completely screw them up without asking first... This topic might be worth discussing and expanding into a section of the SIG, your monitor/OS settings can have a huge impact on colors and whatnot.

The Dragonborn Comes In Febuary
Farlo replied to Neovalen's topic in General Skyrim LE Discussion & Support
Wow, I almost think BSAopt is missing something... how could Bethesda not bother with something this simple is so beyond me, it's always this little stuff that builds up and causes most errors. -
I want to buy that so badly...

Removed, thanks for noticing. That guide definitely needs a makeover.

I used EFF for a time as well, and I definitely like the UI over a dialog system. Use of the MCM would be pretty cool to see.

As I said, I only saw it for a couple minutes before my VPN dropped, and I posted the above comment a couple minutes after that from my phone. This might be a topic for the admin boards, but is this something we can control or does it mostly depend on the host?

DROPPED Mystery Modders Shrines HD (by Mystery Modder)
Farlo replied to Jorus's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Those are pretty good, although I'm not too keen on the Akatosh texture. Maybe it's the lighting, but it looks spray-painted. -
SKYRIMLE High Definition Ivy - 2K (by Josh Ezzell)
Farlo replied to Kelmych's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
It is an improvement, but allow me to critique for a moment. It's just a tad too dense, and perhaps a bit "flat" IMO. The Vanilla texture also has a few dead leaves instead of being solid green throughout, which is nice. Maybe it's just ivy around here (Southern California), but the leaves are quite a lot brighter and lighter green than I recall. The rather massive file size is an issue as well, I assume Vanilla/HDDLC is 512? A straight forward "enhanced" Vanilla texture at either 512 or 1024 would be nice to see, there's definitely room for improvement on the original without redoing it entirely. -
I got the "too many connections" error as well... and then my VPN decided to die, so I'm stuck on my phone. Hopefully it was a one time thing.

This is exactly why we introduced the "Core mod" attribute. In either the current PDF release, or the Work-in-Progress version on the Wiki, you'll notice some of the table rows have the left-most region shaded in. That indicates that the mod is considered "core" to the STEP experience. Most of the major texture packages, fixes, and several key gameplay mods fall under this category and should always be installed when using STEP, but the others are entirely optional, just make sure to do it in order.

The Dragonborn Comes In Febuary

Not that the CK will be updated for at least a week or so anyways... -
I'll update the mod note to mention this, thanks for bringing it up.

And what a cunning plan it is; to strip away the permissions of the very people who are the foundation of STEP and Skyrim modding! (I think your propaganda machine is broke.)

I threw not the first stone:

How is this my fault!?Â

*sigh* You do realize this is a war you cannot win, right?
