  1. It goes of what phazer11 said... I dont know about you but when authors remove their mods for no reason infuriates me, especially when its hidden because of "Updating"... Its been like a month, there is no reason to hide a page until it is updated. hopefully I have this on a different drive.
  2. is BOSS suddenly out of date? LOOT LO isnt defined, it supposedly isn't even content aware. For skyrim its stuck more than a few plugins near the top where they definitely shouldnt be. I've even had patches that worked their way toward the top which completely defeats the purpose. you can use the load after thing but then it completely changes the posistion of other mods. I find it frustrating. There is only a few mods that need rules. I rather not have to deal with FCOM on a LOOT level since BOSS does it pretty well. the reason I keep mentioning FCOM is because its probably the largest set of mods that I do not want to deal with...
  3. you can merge some .esm just fine but not all because there are generally plugins that us it as a master

  5. Dreadflopp, I was redoing Skyrim again and hopefully have better control over my VRAM and I was curious how far did you get on the PerMa stuff. I'll go through and probably get a LO going and figure out most whats what but I want to ask what you already know so that I dont make the same mistake initially. To start with Enai Siaion mods have PerMa patches and the main mods need to be added to the exclusion list. Darkside, I would.

  7. I'll try it out in a few to see if I get the same effect. Do you have a multi card setup? EDIT: Mine seems fine but it did cause my PC to wig out. Did you restart after installing the drivers?

  11. The image doesn't scale correctly, DoubleYou already gave it a shoot. Go ahead and experiment if you wish. I still dont trust LOOT and so do a lot of other modders, CJ being one. I cant remember Neo's reason but in SR:LE, he doesn't use it either. Its a long story and Im terrible at explaining things, I may try to explain it tomorrow.
  12. also in enblocal EnableCompression=false lower the ReservedMemorySizeMb= to something low like 64, 128 or 256 In my case it helped to alleviate some VRAM and stutter issues. Replacing the 2k textures with 1k should be fine.
  13. can you put you mod list into a spoiler tag I recently discovered that the EnableOcclusionCulling=true in Enblocal.ini will cause some strange stutter and actually drop a few fps. I have 2GB VRAM and 2k textures cause the VRAM to max out in some locations

  16. Hey, I when I looked through the guide I saw that there was now difference in the Shadow casters fix I seem to have the issues quite often. the mountain should be casting a shadow and it kind of is but not completely. Its a strange effect.
  17. oh, could it be an audio codec issue? Do you have any thing related to audio that is installed and not packaged with windows?
  18. I think it has to with that Wrye Bash writes the file and then at the same time, MO moves it to the Overwrite folder and Wrye Bash tries to open the file.
  19. I can't speak for the ini tweak but it may have to do with performance reasons. I believe that I read that it consume a lot of vram space, which can be incorrect. As for the src folder isn't needed unless you are compiling skse plugins.
  20. My thinking is that it may be something in the ini because it happens to exist both in the save and a new game. Its not the archive because its been redownloaded several times. Can you share your inis. Skyrim.ini and skyrimprefs.ini
  21. thats an ihud feature. you need to go ingame, in the mod configuration menu, ihud or immersive hud, find the compass settings and change it to toggle or always on... I typed this off memory so it may not be exact
  22. Soire was going to do the mo thing but she disappeared and I think she isn't coming back... I was going to use some sort of check boxes to hide/hide certain instructions. That was going to be one of them. I do need other co-writers that are active in making decisions because what if I disappear ;_; The guide would be abandoned at that point.
  23. I've voiced this before, it is unlikely that I am going to support mo because its missing too many features and is not worth the hassle. If you want to give it a shot go ahead.
  24. I added a Need Help? section. I think I got everyone and I believe I placed everyone in an appropriate spot. The order may need to be changed because some people are easier to get a hold of than others. Feel free to move yourselves about.
  25. I know I haven't worked on the guide in a few weeks but is there anything that you believe is missing or there is a lack of? Does anyone see any issues? I was planning on adding Enhanced Economy and one of the persuasion overhauls I was also going to add the instructions on removing that one UL mod and Vacuity
