SKYRIMLE Nordic Lantern - Replacer (by css0101)
hishutup replied to hylskrik's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
This mod isnt new but its still really good. I love the style and its not exactly vanilla friendly but there is just something neat about it. -
Discussion thread: ENB Terrain Parallax Fix by Hein84 Wiki Link This mod fixes some blending on the transistion on landscape meshes.

SKYRIMLE Osmodius Windhelm Texture Pack (by osmodius)
hishutup replied to hishutup's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Yes, but this is a pretty different style compared to SRO. SRO isnt really a texture overhaul that like, its okay but its not a style that I like. If you are not using ELFX and want to use Project Parallax Remasted, these textures look pretty good. I dont use this one personally because I have found noble skyrim to have the style that I prefer. -

Discussion thread: Skyrim HD - Terrain Parallax Tribute by Hein84 Wiki Link Once I found this and tried it, it suddenly became my favorite. Its dark, wet, mossy, bumpy and best of all, it is compatible with terrain parallax, which is still slim pickings. I think this could be a possibility for step because of the vanilla-like look of the textures. I think a few of the textures could be better but I overwrite them with some part of vivid landscapes.

Umi was thinking about doing one because the weather is pretty much pure weather. I've been told there is literally no difference. I cant update WAO until one of the dependent mods gets updated -which should be any time now- and Umi throws me the vanilla wao. Hopefully, I wont be playing musical installers with NMM anymore.

I installed MO outside of the skyrim folder- is this a big deal?
hishutup replied to Toosdey's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Just here to agree with everyone else. Meve it out of program files. I do need to open a discussion on win 10 though... -
Its funny but you can donate 30C to someone which is unnecessarily evil but I totally didnt do it to a few people I know. I'll make it up to them later

wanted Donate Button/Link for Mods in MO?
hishutup replied to z929669's question in Mod Organizer Support
Thats one of those "Not my job" scenarios -
*sigh* I hate when authors outright remove their content but I believe I know why he did. Theres this site that is uploading mods like it is his own and ramccoid was getting frustrated with it. I dont see why authors do this, principle maybe... You pretty much just let the fool take your content and then become the soul provider of said content. People are not going to discontinue to use your content and why would they?

Black skies when enable effects
hishutup replied to ShadowedAbyss's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Black sky... That sounds like you forgot the float point renderer in the skyrim INIs -
GUIDE Mythic Dawn: Gateway to Oblivion WIP
hishutup replied to hishutup's topic in Oblivion - Mythic Dawn
Its because loot is unpredictable. You can add one mod that literally doesn't have any records that conflict with anything, your entire lo may flip. I has seen this before and its annoying. I also noticed that loot will place some mods in the wrong area which doesnt make any sense BOSS is 100% control over the lo which makes it great for guides. As for neo's SRLE, I use loot but I had to do some interesting logic to get it to put things in an okay lo. -
paypall has donation fees. Only the author will see a reduced amount.

Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback
hishutup replied to Neovalen's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
I think Skyrim Realistic Texture Overhaul will be coming back soon. The author pulled some of his mods to move them to steam. They are hidden for some reason and I dont know the logic behind it. -
pack Weather and Lighting (by Smile44)
hishutup replied to Smile44's topic in Step Skyrim LE Packs (retired)
I would recommend against using vividians ini To brighten things up you can raise a value in the shader window. I would as in the vividian form for which on to raise. On the wao page it says to disable the cot version because it it included. As long as you follow the pack everything is fine. -
I don't know if this has been said but each paypall donation has a fee of 2.2%+30¢ I recommend fewer and larger donations if you are going to donate. I've been in the ballpark of ~$2

skyrim tilde key menu font size suddenly tiny
hishutup replied to john7's question in Mod Organizer Support
The only thing that I can think of is that you increased your resolution. I have this issue when using downsampling. -
is there a way to make skyrim 64bit?
hishutup replied to Toosdey's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Skyrim wasnt developed to be a 64bit application. There is no way to change that. -

weird... I guess I can comment that out for the time being. If you have any suggestions, corrections or what not then please share. -
pack Weather and Lighting (by Smile44)
hishutup replied to Smile44's topic in Step Skyrim LE Packs (retired)
Real clouds is really bugged and doesnt connect with the appropriate weathers, love the mod but it needs some more love. Wonders of Weather looks like it will be included in STEP, so theres no need to add it. Im actually going to remove the mods that it supersedes. I can definitely add enb alts. Are there any other note worthy ones? ~1-3 more I want to add ENBs that are compatible but there is an issue. They have to recognize BOTH PW and COT weathers if they use custom weathers. I can merge weather.ini if I have to. Or do not include ANY custom weathers. ~1-2 more There are some mods that are going to update that WAO is reliant on so there will likely be another update soon. As for WAO itself there are some minor issues because of LOOT. I have some of the rules for ELE, ELE Lite, and ELFX. I was going to update WAO to forward more records (minor) but then I was informed that one or more of the dependent mods was getting an update and it would be pretty large. The way I currently handle W&L pack in WAO's installer is okay but it seems like ELE Lite is going to be part of STEP which will change some stuff around and make the install a little easier. I took a look at what Clouds for Skyrim uses to determine if clouds should be present and it uses "currentWeather.GetSunDamage()" which is interesting but it makes it compatible as long as that record is filled in with an appropriate value. The downside is it seems like the mod is compatible with Tamriel, Solstheim and Falskaar but thats with primitive papyrus scripting experience. -
installing STEP help with 12gb vram and setting up
hishutup replied to Snowelf12's question in General Skyrim LE Support
I would avoid changing directories because there can be a lot of unexpected issues. I dont believe I had any problems backdating except some settings got jumbled. I would ALWAYS backup the install order. I have heard some horror stories from people -
well, frozunswaidon has pulled the main download for Skyrim Realistic Texture Overhaul dragons 4K-8K and Advanced Skyrim Realistic Texture Overhaul Mountain I would suggest that you grab the others before they disappear. I have almost all of the mods from frozunswaidon, Chesko, Isoku in case any of them pull their stuff.

GUIDE Mythic Dawn: Gateway to Oblivion WIP

I have no idea. I haven't seen that when I was testing stuff. I've been out of Oblivion for quite awhile, someone else may be able to provide some insight. -
installing STEP help with 12gb vram and setting up
hishutup replied to Snowelf12's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Its more like 3.8GB but there is almost no difference. I run 1920x1080. Texture size will consume way more VRAM than resolution. 4k will consume way more than you may expect. -
