  1. New builds for windows comes out about every two to three weeks.
  2. The application is pretty neat and does significantly more than the script. To give you an idea of the timeline, its near the end of pre alpha. Its up to mator on what info he is willing to release.
  3. sparten boots fast but is slow navigating. I've stuck with chrome because Im on a desktop so I don't care about memory and power consumption but I also watch a lot of 1080p 60fps videos so that influences my decision a lot.
  4. I was talking about the file manager. It may have changed but when I was testing it, it wouldn't open on any of the associated files. 7z as an archive tool works fine. The tablet UI is 100% separate. You have to enable it to have the weird UI. On the "store" and some applications, the scroll up and down is used to scroll rows which is weird because I have a perfectly good tilt left/right that is unused in the OS
  5. Yup, everything works fine. win 10 acts similar to win 8 than anything. Banizip supports all the normal archiving formats. Its the 7z file manager that is broken. win 10 feels like 7 but updated.
  6. I have been using it for two-ish months and I like it. There are issues with the start menu randomly changing for some reason, Visual Studio redist packages breaking and applications just stop working. Folder permissions are a pain but I got around it by making a folder in the root and having all folders, sub folders and files inherit Everyone permissions that have full control. 7zip just doesnt work, I use Banizip and it is better in my opinion. I hope this makes sense. If youre using 8.1 then why havent you upgraded to win 10.
  7. Just to be on the defensive side, I have found that using the formula(10240) I have noticed a macro stutter, which can be anywhere between small fraction of a second to several seconds. I drop it down to 3072, all the stutter is gone. I raise it to 4096, I can notice a intermittent stutter. Its not hard evidence but it was something that I picked up on.
  8. The problem with removing GIP is that it has some amazing textures. One way is to probably just delete the meshes. I wanted to work on it but OR working on some stuff with ENBoost which may fix some issues with CTDs which is something that I am going to wait for.
  9. he's using wao for one and people can use two weather mods if they patch it which is what wao does. COT's and PW's style are very different different.
  10. The issue is fixed by painting the landscape which is a record. Im kinda surprised that the unofficial patch guys haven't fixed this themselves.
  11. I have never had that, so I dont even know. I dont even know where to point you. I would say just keep trying different things and see if you can get it to work.
  12. That sounds like some issue with the fonts. I would look to see if those fonts actually exist to start with. On a side note, the guide is in a very awkward position because there is like 3 partial rewrites in it. I keep losing time/interest.
  13. Its not tagged as fallout3. The forum seems to screw up with "Accepted" and "Dropped" prefixes on the front page.
  14. I used that for the unofficial patches and DLC but that is about it. I think tannin said dont use it to keep the lo when using loot but I could be mistaken. I have noticed that it can be unpredictable when selecting and deselecting mods.
  15. Its the only mod that is affected. *shrugs*
  16. The only issue that I have had, is the hud will bug bug out and not load all the way. The only way that seems to fix it is fPostLoadUpdateTimeMS=2000.0 Its pretty consistent and it'll bug out pretty much every time I load up my full LO without that ini tweak.
  17. Dude? Try hish, hishy, hishutup When someone uses the term dude in a thread, no one knows who they are talking to. If it was geared toward me... Sorry, I've been busy with other things such as school, testing, witcher3, etc. If you want to fix something go ahead just leave a note so that I can verify it.
  18. well for starter, you should keep the memory at the recommended settings unless you need to increase blocks1 to 1024(768 effective). The scrap leave along, it works in a much different way than you expect. My first guess is that one or more plugins have errors in their references. Just open up xEdit and check a group for errors until you check them all. If may be related to ENBoost settings, safety load (which shouldnt be used anymore).
  19. I would have never known about this mod until you posted. So thats a benefit :P
  20. I posted on neo's bug genie thread three different issues that definitely should be adressed
  21. well, that explains why it wasnt working properly.
  22. I think I read somewhere that its included in FCOM's I remember one mods optionals more/less being merged into FCOMs
  23. Shouldn't this be dropped because its included in Ruffled Feather?
  24. you dont need ssme anymore. All you need is this in the skse.ini [General] ClearInvalidRegistrations=1 [Memory] DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=768 ScrapHeapSizeMB=256 plus this is off topic from memory block log. Please redirect any further discussion about skse mem tweaks and ssme to here or here Any discussion about ENBoost, please direct your discussion to one of the many ENBoost Topics on STEP.
