  5. dead edition doesnt touch deadtree05 I patched forested edition, I think the method I used was very appropriate. Do whatever you please with this "fix"
  6. in the guide you say Flora Overhaul causes an issue with To sleep - perchance to dream, is it possible to get the formID for those trees? Im going to see if I can come up with a fix. Im looking around and I dont see it anywhere.

  8. hmm, I may give that a look. I think just about everyone is on the same page with the start menu, win 8's version just wasn't meant to be driven with a mouse.
  9. I have no thought on your post because like I have said, the guide is in need of updating. I appreciate you taking the time to write out the post and I'll be looking back at several other posts when the guide is being updated. I just don't have the energy to update it at the moment.

  11. I added you to the old discussion. *OBSE plugins do not worked if installed inside MO Thats why I said .dll-less. If the scripting is broken then whats the point of MO *It is recommended to use the Script Extender workaround It doesnt hook correctly. OR requires the overlay to be disabled anyhow.
  12. every game crashes when I alt tab now, either microsoft or nVidia screwed up something. My thoughts are its likely nVidia tw1 is really terrible but it had its charm. Market Price and Zero Weight mod are completely unnecessary, I never ran into the issue where I wasnt stupid rich. The dice game takes some skill and luck but the arm wrestling was idiotic. I couldnt be bothered to search for them honestly.
  13. You can do what you please. If you want to collaborate then shoot me a pm. I just kinda fell out of Oblivion for awhile and the guide is in the super awkward 3 partial revisions. On the other side, competition is always good. I was going to switch to LOOT but MO just isn't something that is going to work. I know my way around MO and it just doesn't hook correctly. I used alternate start as my .dll-less OBSE tester and every time MO's VFS worked OBSE didn't. Then every time OBSE worked MO's VFS didn't.

Does Extreme Quality Flora do anything for your game because it never worked in mine? Personally I had a problem with the FOV so I used Enhanced Camera and used an fov of 75.   15. If MO handled things correctly then it wouldnt be hard to switch but at the time of this posting, it doesnt. I've been out of oblivion for quite awhile, when it sounds like something that I am interesting in, I'll go through and update. If mo is an option at that time then Ill take yet another look. WB also has some pretty cool stuff once you look at it. If there was a reliable and legal way to have people switch to the dvd version then I would, but at the moment Steam is the only way to obtain a copy. I took a look at NMM and it cant do anything reliably.
  16. I've said this countless times, mod organizer doesn't work with oblivion. I cannot get OBSE, MO and OR to all hook appropriately. There are too many workarounds for oblivion modding. I am not going to support it until there is proper support of it. I still haven't got around to updating it
  17. I remember in FNV any time LOD loads, there will be a long pause (several seconds) with ENBoost enabled but this was more than a few months back
  18. Premium is also spotty at times. The nexus is usually able to max out my connection which is pretty fast but lately its been around half at best.
  19. You dont need perms if you're making a patch. Just have people merge them afterward. I'd do it if I knew it hat to disable
  20. Yeah, I should add something for nehrim. The guide is in a very strange place its really awkward and I need to fix it but it does say incomplete at the top. The first third is updated for the most part. I wanted to get another section done but there were a few things stopping me but we'll see what I can muster up

  22. Oh, one thing is visual studio will break every now and then. To fix it just run the redist packages that are usually included in the game folder and click repair. This has been an issue for about 3 builds now. I believe the first build that I was on didnt have the issue. Like I said, I used it for a few months now and I dont plan on switching back to win 7 because win 10 is superior.
  23. I stopped using 7z file manager because the the 7z file manager wouldn't open on any associated files. This was about two months this ago. 7z may have fixed the issue. However, 7z file manager would open normally if I started 7zfm.exe or whatever its called. I got annoyed and used a different GUI file manager for 7z archiving which is banizip and I actually like it more than 7zfm. Obviously, 7z archiving works otherwise I wouldn't be able to mod at all. I can shoot you a video if you don't believe me and then archive the video using 7z. I use wrye bash as a mod manager for oblivion and it does work fine as a mod manager and as a tool. I never used NMM and don't plan to but the other tools I use constantly. You can even add ck to the list of working tools. Actually, there should be a list of what doesn't work. The only thing I encountered was Alice: Madness returns doesn't function because its DRM is terrible.
  24. You have to generate the lods which isnt hard but its not something I'm going to type on my phone. Just look around dyndolod's docs. I want neo to have people generate them regardless but we'll see what he thinks later
