Z-Fighting problem: I just can't get rid of it/reduce it!?
hishutup replied to Exalerion's question in General Skyrim LE Support
It can be further reduced by just covering it up with rocks, take a look at Enhanced Landscapes -
Mesh problem - SMIM's smeltermarker.nif causes flashing with ENB
hishutup replied to darkside's question in General Skyrim LE Support
I just watched the vid, wow, I have never seen that happen. It usually flashes 2 or 3 times when the object is spawning but that is it. -
Mesh problem - SMIM's smeltermarker.nif causes flashing with ENB
hishutup replied to darkside's question in General Skyrim LE Support
If youre going to report it then add the carriage to the problem. I've noticed this and there was a small discussion on it, it seems to only happen with some ENBs, Vividian is pretty consistent. To get the carriage to flash, "coc riverwood" from main menu and walk toward whiterun. -
Disappointing Frame Rates (FPS)
hishutup replied to Pillendreher's question in General Skyrim LE Support
you'll have to observe the memory blocks to see if heap 1 maxes, heap 2 doesnt matter. Skyrim shouldnt crash, my case was an issue with ENB and rivatuner(MSI AB)- 80 replies

Weird non-game breaking but (Caravan Mod)
hishutup replied to Matt714's topic in Fallout 3 - Clear & Present Danger
It may be because some of the races are marked as playable. I dont know where FO get the races from, I figure it just uses any race that has the flag. -
Followed Guide game wont launch Help!
hishutup replied to adzc1987's question in Guide Support & Bug Reports
I havent read the entire discussion but I found out that there are random, repeatable issues when the plugin count has an index of 92 or higher. -

Now that is something I am interested in. How is the dictionary going to decide what is required and what is optional? -

[WIP] Merge Plugins Standalone {PUBLIC BETA}
hishutup replied to Mator's question in Mator's Utilities Support (archived, read-only)
If you are talking about the initial startup screen for MP then that "profile" screen has nothing to do with MO, that should be the game directory. For the MO integrations, you just point it the folder that the exe is in and MP will autofill some of the paths -
Here is a MO categories.dat it obliterates the default -not very useful- categories and contains entries that fit your guide. Its rather useful in my opinion. If you are going to edit it, open it as a txt doc because mass edits are a pain with how it is implemented in MO. EDIT: I changed the MGs Neat Clutter instruction style because lists are easier to read in comparison with a block of text. I stole what SRLE had because its fairly clean. If you like it, keep it, otherwise toss it.

[WIP] Merge Plugins Standalone {PUBLIC BETA}
hishutup replied to Mator's question in Mator's Utilities Support (archived, read-only)
Its only required if you want to handle script fragments. You can set the paths so it doesn't matter where you stick it because you can set the paths in MP. x64 or x86 it doesnt matter which version. -
I dont really know what its lacking for FNV. If anything its definitely better than the script. I doubt MP will ever be able to handle and compile FNV, Ob, FO3, MW scripts because the compiled data is contained in the plugin and there is no CLI compiler MP should be able to already handle scripts like it does for Sk Anyhow, if you have any idea let mator know or inform me and I can add it to the asana project

SR:LE Stuttering - NOT 64hz bug
hishutup replied to MysticDaedra's question in Guide Support & Bug Reports (retired)
The guide is written for people that have 4GB of VRAM, you have 2GB. You'll need to use lower res textures. When I had my HD6970s, the max resolution I could use is 1k. I had some 2k and some 4k but I used them for very specific objects, like mountains. The body and skin mods were extremely VRAM hungry. -

You dont have the settings setup correctly. You need to check the MO checkbox and change the paths to your MO directory -

try changing the merge method to Override, just to see and what is the LO -
OMOD is one or all of two things, an archive and an install script. BAIN is a scriptless install method. The two are not closely related but can have similar structures. BAIN is basically an ordered install using a bunch of folders that have the root of Data\ OMOD can have a significantly more complex and nested system, which required manual editing of the archive itself. The script is pretty much useless if the author supplies manual install directions

It doesnt matter, anything that the application touches is extracted out of the Skyrim\Data folder and moved to a temp folder where the MP exe resides. :P -
Oh, that... That isn't something that I was expecting. Is that a bug? Anyway, I'll add it to the op soon
-
Hmm, can you delete the memoryblockslog.log from the overwrite folder and the re run skyrim and then report back
