  1. Did you type that argument into FNV4GB with the quotes like you've typed it above? If so, lose them. EDIT: Also make sure you actually have all your BSA files checked on the archives tab of MO.
  2. SRLE and REGS work together nicely. Just take your time, be painstaking and read everything. All should come good.
  3. 1) It would depend on what mods in the CORE list you don't want. If any of them are masters in the CORE patch then you'll need to do a little work in TES5Edit, but it's not hard. 2) The max plugin limit is 255. I currently have mine in the 240's and I'm fine. 3) All you need to make is the SKSE.ini file. It's easy to do so. 4) That's how you test stuff. Essentially walking around and seeing what goes phut. But I never use quick save and quick load anyway as it's known to be a problem. What you're describing sounds like either out of memory issues or some scripting SNAFUs. 5) LOOT's not perfect, true. Sometimes you'll need to massage things. I always use the LOOT given order as a basis first and tweak what needs to be done. Adding a few LOOT rules and tweaking the priorities will massage things for you. 6) Nope. Leave them enabled if the Bash Patch didn't already disable them.
  4. The in guide merges are more designed to lower the total plug in count and are not quite the same as a Bashed/Merged Patch. Your idea of the Bashed Patch in essence is ok. There will be occasions when a who esp plugin can be rolled into the Bashed Patch and thusly will be unticked.
  5. Mate, I run the game after every SECTION of mods is done, (occasionally after every mod, even, when it's a big one like FCO or NVR or Project Nevada etc.) just to make sure all's running and there's nothing screaming at me. That's just standard practice that everyone should have in their testing arsenal. You will get the hang of it after 1-2 tries.
  6. Do you have the correct language version of SkyUI etc? That sort of looks like what happens if an application is looking for a font you don't have.
  7. With F and L and 115ish plugins, that's fine. You're still under the plug in limit. The crashing is another issue however. Typically yes those unticked ones will be the ones merged into the Bashed patch. Leave them there they're not hurting anything. :) If something's marked as redundant, then you can easily remove it, but in an F and L install it shouldn't happen. Suspect maybe something went awry there. DDSopt is portable so you can put it anywhere. The xEdit programs I just throw in the New Vegas/Fallout3/Skyrim directory. (I believe that actually have to be there to work anyway). Wrye Bash the same, just extract the Mopy folder to the relevant main game directory. Tools that are not game specific, like LOOT, I just install to it's own directory.
  8. If I optimize textures for a mod I usually throw it in right after that mod on the left pane, yes. That's usually just for clarity. Like: Falskaar Falskaar Optimized Textures Wyrmstooth Wyrms Optimized Textures Moonpath to Elsweyr Moonpath Optimized Textures Mod X Mod X Optimized Textures Like your pic suggests, yes.
  9. 1) Nope, LOOT only orders plug ins. Texture packs usually don't have a plugin. 1a) You can pretty much put texture packs anywhere, but keep in mind: that if you have multiple texture packs all of which provide a texture for a certain object, that the one lowest on the left pane will 'win'. and 'overwrite' the other ones. (Note I say overwrite, but nothing actually ever gets written over, it just wont be loaded.) 2) Doesn't really matter. If you're hurting for space maybe. However don't forget that BSA's can, and often do, contain more than just textures.
  10. Too comprehensive? You have got to be kidding me... If there was absolutely no instrauctions people would whine, now when SRB puts out a good solid guide it's too comprehensive? Like I said I worry sometimes...
  11. One thing to check is the ini tweak bLoadfaceGenEGTFiles. make sure that's set to 1. New Vegas will always have some neck seams, but that tweak will stop silly things like white heads on black and spanish bodies.
  12. I use Perkus Maximus and have yet to have an issue. You'd have to ask Neo why he may not have included it. haven't tried Hunterborn so cant help there.
  13. Obviously people prefer just being given a list with no explanation. I worry about people sometimes. Really, I do.
  14. I'm with Neo, personally.
  15. Yeah it's been a bit of a ******. Failed downloads long find times etc...
  16. Double check that cause Requiem does some stuff with levelled lists and the like itself too. You may not need a Merged Patch. But assuming an ideal world, your suggested possible order makes sense.
  17. It's only a dummy ESP until you run the RS patcher to finish your Real Shelter install. I'm guessing you've not done that, then.
  18. Why would you want to disable RSPatch.esp?
  19. Did you turn off AA and AF from the default launcher? And double checked you dont have them switched on in your driver?
  20. Ah fair enough. Just that someone recently over there asked a similar question and got basically the same response is all. :)
  21. Well Mod Organizer also REMINDS you if you're trying to download a mod you already have...
  22. Thunderchild's nice. Haven't done the others.
  23. Check under the 'On Compatibility' section up the top. On occasions REGS suggests different install options for previously installed STEP mods and SRLE ones as well. Whether there needs be a note reminding someone not to reinstall a mod they've already installed, though? I don't think so. (Unless, of course, the install options have changed compared to STEP or SRLE) You need to keep your wits about you a little bit and realize what you're doing rather than just going along blindly. Plus I suspect the answer for CRF will be the same, It's there for those not using STEP or SRLE, etc. :)
  24. I'd refuse your money to be honest. I don't come in here and help others when I can for money. Hell I don't even need plaudits. And just curious, did you request this on Nexus not long ago as well?
  25. Yep, Permed level 43 Orc character, beat the game with no great issues.
