  1. I've just started playing through the Thieves Guild storyline and sneaking if extremely important for most tasks! I highly recommend leveling it up as much as possible. I've actually just followed guards around while hidden to level it up a bit. The chance of successfully completely takes will be far higher with a good sneak skill level. I also recommend spending at least a couple perks points on the base park for sneaking (first perk). This will help silence you and keep you hidden. I've actually found with a higher sneak skill and a high archery skill, clearing dungeons is far easier! You get a damage bonus for successfully attacking while being hidden.
  2. Yay! The gnome dances with excitement! :gnome:
  3. Mind if I link to these on the ENB Guide when the time comes? I'll be doing a section for ELE eventually on the Guide. Anyone who wants to get in on helping can do so here: https://forum.step-project.com/topic/5951-enb-guide-overhaul/
  4. Looks like this might need a review. I'm currently playing a wood elf ranger who is mainly archery focused so I'll check to see how this works with and without on my current character.
  5. Okay, so is it best to move some files into the enbseries directory or is it really just a matter of preference?
  6. Reading through the comments, it looks like it still has some issues, of which, the author hasn't replied to any of them and seems to have been MIA for several months now. A manual delete would still be best for the Guide, but once this gets more ironed out, it would be a good option.
  7. The only way to fix this is to either run lower res mods or install more system memory (RAM).
  8. Sounds good but I have to idea how to do that either. Does it require some editing to files or does ENBSeries automatically detect them in the enbseries folder? I've also reworded that one instruction a bit to be more clear.
  9. Any mod that is not marked, "Core" in the Guide: https://wiki.step-project.com/STEP:2.2.9#Mod_Tables_Legend It's all explained here: https://wiki.step-project.com/STEP:Mandate
  10. It's actually not even close to being ready to use. But the omissions are due to those utilities being Extended. In fact, you will not find any of the Extended mods on the 2.3.0 Guide.
  11. You really stand around idling so much that it's an issue???
  12. WB is no longer supported by STEP as we've switched to MO. WB is only used for the Bashed Patch now. Therefore, the BCFs could be out of date, not working with new updates to the mods or WB, etc. I don't think there is anyone left on the Staff that still uses WB as a mod manager to even troubleshoot them. The BCFs will eventually be removed from the mod pages and if they are indeed no longer working, the time to do that might be sooner than later.
  13. It's just going to be one of those Guides that needs to be updated every month or two. Once I get it updated, I'll try to stay on top of it because if it receives regular updates it will not as bad as it is now. As far JawZ's guide you recommended, I'm using it as a reference; however, it'll only be limited help because that guide of his is a year old...ENBSeries has changed quite a bit since then. It's one of the reasons I want to do this. The information needs to be gathered for the community. Another reason is to get it up to date before I start pushing the Lighting Project. *Thought* it's nice how the Staff has naturally spread out since the release for 2.2.9 and taken on our own little projects, all of which enhance some aspect of STEP and helps to get us towards our 2.3.0 goal.
  14. No problem. If you want to help, work on your own schedule. I'll accommodate and return to previous sections if need be. We're about to get into the fun stuff (INI files) for the authors that are helping. Until then, I didn't expect to have much to do unless it's grammar related.
  15. It's really a personal preference but I would recommend it.
  16. Yes, you don't have very many "author provided" screenshots. I tried to grab shots that showed a variety of situations, but it wasn't always possible. For example, a scenic day shot, scenic night shot, indoor shot, etc and all without PCs in them which most users post shots of their characters so options were limited for all the preset galleries.
  17. No, the next update will require me editing the meshes and to do that I have to learn how to use 3ds Max. That'll take some time. Just diving in as I normally would isn't an option because of the shear power and complexity of 3ds Max so I'm trying to learn properly instead of just jumping in, playing around and not really knowing what I'm doing. If any issues are found please report them so I can look into them (screenshots are most helpful). I can probably fix anything that isn't a mesh or UV mapping issue. If there are any feature suggestion, you can also post them here as well.
  18. I've correctly set up the gallery templates on the ENB Choices page so the galleries are now independent from one another. I will probably add a couple more images to each gallery. https://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:ENB#tab=ENB_Choices
  19. If it's just leveled lists that is the concern (which I gather from the posts those are the concern) because the SkyProc Patcher is creating them, all you need to do is simply untick that part of the Bashed Patch so those lists are not created in the Bashed Patch. Simple, easy, done. You get your leveled lists from SkyProc and the rest of the Bashed Patch benefits as well.
  20. LOOT has sorted my IHSS.esp after AOS.esp... There are only 4 conflicts and they are all have to due with NPC horses. It's nothing major or game breaking.
  21. Okay, since there hasn't been any feedback, I'm assuming that the two previous pages are good to go. Let us move on to the Installation tab. Please review it for accuracy: https://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:ENB#tab=Installation Keep in mind this page is for general information and not for any particular ENB preset.
  22. Thanks guys! This still has a long ways to go to be 100% fixed, but I've gotten a good start on it.
  23. Dawnguard and Hearthfire are needed. ThievesGuildRequirementsPatch is not.
  24. You only need one patch. By the looks of it, the STEP Extended Patch is all you need.
