CTD after install ENBoost by STEP
TechAngel85 replied to hardtroll's question in Post-Processing Support
Certain cards will not work with the Wrapper version which is the reason the Injector version exists. This is common knowledge around ENBSeries. What you want tested is confirmed by his last post since it's set to false. @hardtroll, You can try the Injector version without the enbseries.ini and setting up the enblocal.ini in the same way I mentioned above. If that does not work, there is something else interfering that is not related to ENBSereis. -

Try the wrapper version (just install d3d9.dll, enbhost.exe, and enblocal.ini files). Edit the enblocal.ini and make sure the first three section matches this: [PROXY] EnableProxyLibrary=false InitProxyFunctions=false ProxyLibrary=other_d3d9.dll [GLOBAL] UsePatchSpeedhackWithoutGraphics=true UseDefferedRendering=false IgnoreCreationKit=true [PERFORMANCE] SpeedHack=true EnableOcclusionCulling=trueSet up the [MEMORY] section according to your system. -
Skyrim Crash with ENBSeries after loading
TechAngel85 replied to ScurionLP's question in Post-Processing Support
All that does is turn graphics modification on and off. Make sure you have ALL the preset files installed and that you're using the ENBSeries version that the preset is built for. -

Remove the enbseries.ini and see if it works. For the Injector version you should only have: enbhost.exe, ENBInjector.exe, enbinjector.ini, enblocal.ini, and enbseries.dll -
You removed the part instructing on how to install the Injector version of ENBoost without adding it to the ENBoost mod page. EDIT: Added it to the mod page.

As for the issue with the ExpandSystemMemoryX64, it is detailed on the previous page. Although, I too had no issues, that doesn't mean others don't with lesser cards. Keithinhanoi is the authority on the Enblocal.ini file as far as I'm concerned and I hold his findings up there with Boris himself.

Yeah, seen you were doing some editing because I was troubleshooting with a user and content was disappearing and changing on him. lol I've updated the ENBoost mod page for the VideoMemorySizeMb section to better align with the Guide. I'll also be update the ReservedMemorySizeMb section as well since setting it to 512 is not the best for every user. These new values are more sound than what we had previously.

CTD after install ENBoost by STEP
TechAngel85 replied to hardtroll's question in Post-Processing Support
Yes, you will not get any graphical modification with ENBoost. You'll know it's working when you see the ENB messages displaying at the menu. You can also Alt+Tab out once you're game has loaded and open Task Manager. You'll see "enbhost.exe" running in the processes when ENBoost is working. -

If the Injector version is working perfectly for you, then simply just use it. There's no difference in-game between the Wrapper and Injector versions. -

Yeah, Z (admin) is doing some editing for some reason. Can you show a pic of your skyrim directory? -

TechAngel85 replied to hardtroll's question in Post-Processing Support
Regardless if ENBoost is installed or not, you launch Skyrim using the SKSE executable. Always! @Hyronimo, You're setup of SKSE looks to be okay. The next thing to investigate would be your installation of ENBoost to make sure it's properly installed and set up. https://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:ENB#ENBoost_Installation_and_Configuration -

TechAngel85 replied to hardtroll's question in Post-Processing Support
Make sure you are both running the latest version of MO as well. I'll need to see some picture of how your SKSE executable is set up in MO for me to be much more help. Also, make sure you have install SKSE in MO as well since the scripts and INI file will need to be placed in the Data folder. -

TechAngel85 replied to hardtroll's question in Post-Processing Support
This might be card related. Some users have reported some issues with the latest GTX 9xx cards with Skyrim and ENBSeries. If everything is set up properly, I would try to use the Injector version rather than the Wrapper version to see if that fixes your issues. -

I've never heard of ENBoost interfering with SKSE. Make sure both are set up properly and the files are in the proper directories. https://wiki.step-project.com/Skyrim_Script_Extender#Recommendations https://wiki.step-project.com/ENBoost#Recommendations -

Okay, thanks for the clarification. I'll add this to my to-do list. -
ACCEPTED Gemling Queen Dragon Claws (by Saerileth)
TechAngel85 replied to Noobsayer's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
This doesn't work properly in STEP? I haven't opened Saerileth's meshes in nifskope, but it looks like this mod overwrites the meshes from RCI in STEP. If the meshes provided my Saerileth point to the textures provided with the mod in the custom directory and not the default texture paths, then this shouldn't be an issue as long as this mod is loaded after RCI so that it wins the conflicts. If that is the case, what am I missing here? -

The Dragonborn file is still in Beta and has not been tested yet due to that reason. -
I've completed my review of the changes on the Guide and am also done with my updates. The Guide's conversion to TOC should be complete now.

Looks like Boris has decided against AMD: https://enbseries.enbdev.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=3614&sid=e0ae84fe9a215be140b08404bf708a0e&start=120#p58484

SKYRIMLE Realistic HD Mushrooms (by Halk_Hogan_PL)
TechAngel85 replied to EssArrBee's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I've been keeping an eye on this mod and, imo, the author is doing some great work, almost nailing the mushrooms. I'm sure he's going to cover more and more as he has been steadily adding them. I'm marking this one for testing so when the time comes it'll be in the queue. -
Do I need ENBoost with Project ENB v0221?
TechAngel85 replied to garybenoak's question in Post-Processing Support
ENBoost is included in the binary. No need to download it separately. You don't add that to the SkyrimPrefs.ini. You change it in the enblocal.ini file that comes with the binary. The limit is technically around 128GBs now, but you're system will rarely use more that 2-3GBs for ENBoost. Just use 10240 and call it good. That is for half or your system RAM. -
I too completely agree with what the mod does. It's makes harvesting far more realistic in my opinion in just about all cases. For example, you'll get 4 red mountain flowers rather than just 1 when the bush is clearly full of them and they all disappear once harvested. This mod makes harvesting make more sense. I too loved the creature module. The only downfall, is that if you don't also overhaul the Alchemy tree, then it makes alchemy far too easy in the vanilla game. That is the reason it was never included in STEP.

How do I get my system RAM to work with VRAM?
TechAngel85 replied to Riggsie15's question in Post-Processing Support
You have something interfering with it for it to not be running. First, I would clean up your Skyrim directory and get all that stuff out that isn't suppose to be there (looks like you could have changed your installation directory in Steam to your Skyrim directory). Second, make sure your antivirus isn't blocking it. There should be a way to add exceptions to your antivirus so that it'll ignore the enbhost.exe program. Third, if it still doesn't work, try using the Injector version rather than the Wrapper version. -
Yeah, use the one in enblocal.ini or the one included in the video driver settings.

I've updated the Guide with your recommendation.
