  1. Are you using default INIs?
  2. As far as I know MO only does a few select games. You'll see the list when you install it.
  3. Nope, SMAA will work by itself without ENB. Did you copy all of the SMAA files into the Skyrim directory? There are 3 or 4 files you need. The rest are just text files. The STEP ENB Guide will work you through it.
  4. Unless they're needed by mods, I'd leave them out. Less is better when it comes to ini editing.
  5. Did you make a STEP profile? I hope so, bc the first STEP will be to ensure you have a stable STEP installation before proceeding to add anything on to of it. It's hard to troubleshoot unless we know that your STEP install is working properly.
  6. You have several edits that I can assure you didn't come from STEP. Our ini edits in the Guide are minimal. Some of those skse.ini edits I've never seen before. I think you're doing too much editing.
  7. Where did you get your skse.ini settings from? A lot more in there than what needs to be from what I can tell.
  8. Set AutodetectVideoMemorySize to false and test it again.
  9. Used to be the entire line that was clickable.
  10. If kryptopyr ever decides to stop modding, STEP has access to the mods to keep them up-to-date with the UPs and other patches. We might not be able to expand on the mods, but we'll at least keep them updated to that extent.

Do know that the main Mandate of STEP is to remain as close to the original game as possible and a lot of your mods are artistic deviations from vanilla. This doesn't mean they're bad. Many are quite good actually; however, it does mean most of them would not be able to fit into STEP's goals and purpose.

We desperately need something better than what Skyrim was build on. There are too many limitations with it. However, most rumors claim they are using an updated Creation Engine (hopefully they've fixes some things).
  15. Not true, imo. I have perfectly fine and smooth gameplay with Vividian Vanilla Edition.
  16. Posting here for CaBaL... There is an issue with the follow textures and their normals: wrstonebase01.ddswrstonebase01_n.ddswrstonebase02.ddswrstonebase02_n.ddsThere appears to be a line at the bottom of wrstonebase01 and top or wrstonebase02 that is causing an issue in the game. This appears to be in the textures themselves and is most visible in the alpha channels. Here's the result of the issue: This affects both the 1K and 2K version of your mod.
  17. There is one major issue that appears, but I just figured out it's CaBal's textures. I'll send him a PM. Note the line that goes across the wall. This appears nearly everywhere this texture appears. It's cabal's mistake on his texture so I'll PM him about it. As for yours, I found another issue that was probably being masked by the 3D grass: You can see the area of stretching right next to the bolder wall. That whole area is a rather shape transition.
  18. Fix it. It will resolve some conflicts correctly between the two plugins.
  19. Do you get the SKSE messages at the top of the screen?
  20. Do you have the force steam loader parameter added?
  21. I was thinking it look like shadow issue. Does it do it all the time or just with spells?
  22. This is why I wanted the no-3D Grass version. It was looking nice and glitched with aMedianBorn Whiterun since that is what we use in STEP. I'm thinking we might not be able to use most of the fixed meshes anyway as I can see some issues here and there from using CaBaL's textures on top. I still need to check out the areas more closely though.
  23. That's how they've always been. I want to get rid of them. Z is the only one that still wanted them around. Some of them are even out of date and have been for a while.
  24. You only get the issue if you forget to delete the textures we instruct you to delete. Read the mod page on the wiki.
  25. I'll take care of it. There seems to be two members acting up. I've rest your rep points to undo what they did (i don't know how long it take the forum software to update and show the changes).
