  1. I agree with Shadriss. This one is a fix to some odd storyline jumps. We include other mods that "fix" things that aren't necessarily broken but the mods are still improvements over vanilla. This doesn't change the storyline enough for me to discount it from being considered for Core. The storyline really doesn't change at all in the end. This mod simply provides an alternative route to the story that fits better than the way Bethesda did it. Just my two cents. We'll see what the others think.
  2. I want to say that the second one has something to do the weights. Seems like there was another author having those issues and he said it was something with the weights. I could be completely off though.
  3. Yes, its okay. I'll update the mod page.
  4. Very good points. I just never thought the Dwarven design looked right for it. I've been playing with the elven design for this new playthrough and I like it a lot better. I've thought about upgrading STEP to the extended version for some time. It's just more compatible for down-the-line installs of other mods that players might be installing on their own. This would also allow for more user customization, if they so desired. There might be a reason for not upgrading, but I haven't looked into it too deeply yet.
  5. I've done the testing and am going to do one more to be certain with a completely new character and different race, but all looks good so far. CQLA may not be needed anymore.
  6. Okay, so I've done some testing and the results are that I'm having NO issues during normal gameplay when installing BSW in its entirety without Closer Quivers & Longer Arrows (CQLA) installed! None. Someone please confirm with some light testing. Males and females seem to be perfectly fine. There is some quiver clipping with certain armors; however, this is an issue present in both vanilla and current STEP so I'm ignoring it. This can mainly be fixed by moving the quiver to a different location during the XPMS install, for those that are bothered by this. So quivers seem to be okay. I will do one more test to be certain. The only other issue that is present only applies to screenachers. When you draw the bow, open the console while drawn, and type in "tfc 1" to freeze time you will see some combinations of bow/arrows where the arrow is a bit too close to the bow/hand. That's it and that was the entire reason for the longer arrows in CQLA. Normal players should never see this issue. In my opinion this is not an issue STEP needs to be worried about because you would never do this during normal game play to see the issue which is why Bethesda probably never fixed it themselves. Only users wanting to grab some candy shots will ever see this happening. So with that said and if my second test turns out the same result, I'm going to be voting that we drop this mod for the next release and only use BSW.
  7. If that is the case, you need to verify your game cache in Steam.
  8. Didn't say it wasn't necessary. I said I hadn't touched it from the STEP instructions meaning it's installed as STEP instructs. The quiver issue is a vanilla issue so without a mod that fixes it (XPMS or CQLA) then you'll always have that issue on females. I can tell you that CQLA is not needed for male characters with the latest BSW file. I'm playing a wood elf/ranger character and almost exclusively use bows. I haven't tested females yet. I'm going to create a new vanilla female since my other one has non-vanilla mods saved to it for some reason. I must have messed it up.
  9. See, I've been wondering about this, but EssArrBee said that there were some assets from this mod being used. There are still 9 non-conflicted files, but most of them seem to be wallfall meshes that DynDOLOD should be replacing.
  10. Nevermind it was my own stupid fault. It happened when I updated DynDOLOD. When doing the clean save procedures before updating I switched my profile back to my Extended profile where Jaggarsfeld isn't loaded. When saving it saved without Jaggarsfeld and poof!...there went that! So I screwed myself with that saving process by not doing it on the right profile. Guess I need a third install of DynDOLOD; one for each profile.
  11. Well that sucks, for some reason this mod reset and I've lost all the progress I made with collected items and such. It was either due to updating DynDOLOD or from completing a couple quests because that's all I've done since the last time I've played; however, there are no quests tied to this mod (there is location data for some reason). Therefore, I can only say it was due to updating DynDOLOD or something went awry with my save.
  12. I looked through this thread and we never decided on the sheath or I missed that discussion somewhere. It was simply picked (by DY if I'm not mistaken). That's why I'm asking about it again now. I haven't touched XPMS because there shouldn't be a need to change it for this mod.
  13. This is going to be one of those tools that is ran several times for testing, updating, etc. I think I've ran it 3-4 times since I started this new character which is only at level 15. Of course, normal users would only run it for updates or added architecture.
  14. Mod Page updated for new version. Nothing changed. With this update the author made all arrows a bit longer. I'll be testing this version as I play without CQLA installed to determine if we can eliminated that mod. So, I don't think we ever did this for this mod...Dawnbreaker...Elven or Dwarven Sheath? Personally, I prefer the elven. Neither really match as it's a daedric weapon. Ebony is used to improve it, but it's not made out of ebony:
  15. If they're already checked, then you're good to go.
  16. Simply download a fresh copy and start anew. Make sure you have all the ENB files that you need in the Skyrim folder.
  17. It has a few issues so I started to create our own for STEP; however, it's not being worked on right now. Someone is trying to fix the vanilla female meshes and they are close to finishing. Just a few bugs to iron out.
  18. Still some issues: With Boots....wrists are out of wack: Without boots....well...this:
  19. What's wrong with it exactly? You know that NMM is not supported for a STEP install, correct?
  20. I don't see any reasons to get rid of GDO unless there are some major conflicts. As you said, it adds a level of immersion to the game. "That's a fine sword"
  21. I think the main issue with mods are navmesh changes which can only be "patched" using the CK. All in all, this mod is fairly compatible with most mods.
  22. I really have no AA issues with SMAA. Lines are smooth. I've never known anyone to not have a good experience with it. Did you set up the proxy in your enblocal.ini and enable it? With my GTX 760, I use ENB AA and SMAA on high and get 40s to 60 fps (depends on area). Very smooth and clean lines.
  23. Are there any advantages for keeping GDO with your mod?
  24. I highly recommend a 4GB graphics card if the budget allows. It's hard to make recommendations without knowing the general budget goal.
