It's fine if you still have v2.2.9.2i installed. The update was to correct errors in the FOMOD.

DynDOLOD.esp only has to be the last in load order when running its xEdit script. After that runs, you should sort with LOOT again and it's possible that it'll be sorted differently.

UNP/UNPB within the STEP gospel.
TechAngel85 replied to Stazbumpa's question in General Skyrim LE Support
True Daughters is my top pick and is probably the closest you can get to a more vanilla style. The bands could be due to improperly installed meshes or a undesirable conflict resolution. It could also be caused by using a save rather than a new game. Things like this shouldn't be changed on a game in progress. -
Dynamic Distant Objects LOD - pre 2.xx

ACCEPTED Stealth Skills Rebalanced (by kryptopyr)
TechAngel85 replied to kryptopyr's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Well, I was just taking that from the warning in your description so if you've not received any reports on the All Access perk breaking anything, then that is golden. I really like the changes this mod makes (on paper since I haven't played with it yet). Sneaking and stealth is one of my main strategies in playing do this should work nicely. -
Ess must have messed with something.

UNP/UNPB within the STEP gospel.

That is really personal preference. Since they are just textures, you can safely try out one and if you don't like it, switch to a different one. -
STEP Compilation Core Patch Requirements
TechAngel85 replied to Ukerin's question in General Skyrim LE Support
What Ess said above, is why the installer is designed as it is. If you select that you did not install SMIM, then the installer will not allow you to install the Patches because SMIM is required. The installer is designed in such a way that it will only allow you to install the versions that your setup is compatible with. If you bypass any of its functions, you can potentially get CTD at load because you will have missing masters or you can end up with missing assets in the game. For any user extracting the plugin directly from the archive, I recommend to only do this if they know what they are doing! -
ACCEPTED Stealth Skills Rebalanced (by kryptopyr)
TechAngel85 replied to kryptopyr's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I've read over the mod page and agree with all the changes it is making, besides the "All Access" perk since this perk can potentially break quests. No matter how realistic a feature can be, if it's going to break something, it probably shouldn't be added. This is the only reason I wouldn't want to install the Full Version of the mod. I can see the troubleshooting section of the forum filling up with issues of quests breaking already. The only saving grace is that this is basically a master level perk so by the time the user is able to get it, they should be knowledgeable enough of when not to use it. I will be installing the full version of this to test the changes it makes. On my last game, I was only a level 22 character with a Sneak skill level of 60+. That is a little ridiculous so this mod falls in line with fixing the sneak aspect of the game. NARC should not be dropped even if there is some overlap. NARC is Core, this mod would be Extended. -
UNP/UNPB within the STEP gospel.
TechAngel85 replied to Stazbumpa's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Characters and Creatures would be the correct placement. If installing UNP, you can safely skip XCE, as well, or simply install it after XCE. -
Mine comes to around 120 for Steam and MO. I'm planning on getting an SSD too. The 850 Evo, in fact.

ACCEPTED Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch (by UPP Team)

Thank you, Ess! With this one, I can feel safe actually starting a new game and playing "for enjoyment" now rather than just testing testing testing. -
DROPPED Immersive Citizens - AI Overhaul (by Shurah)
TechAngel85 replied to EssArrBee's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I haven't looked into it directly, but certain changes to mods require new games. Shurah has changed enough in this update that a new game is needed for all the changes to take effect correctly. When certain aspects of a mod are saved within a save file and then changes to those aspects are done, this almost always requires a new game. There are not that many mods that require this but ICAIO is most likely going to always be one of those mods at certain points in its development. Hopefully the changes he's made and with the additional scripts, this will not be an issue in the future. I think that is basically the plan with some of the changes he's made; make the mod more compatible and easier to update in the future without constantly requiring a new game just to get the updates...because requiring a new game every time you update your mod every few months is asking a bit too much. Luckily, I haven't had the time to actually start my new game since STEP v2.2.9.2 was released. Unfortunately for others, this will not be the case. -
DROPPED Immersive Citizens - AI Overhaul (by Shurah)

Could be tonight. Could be tomorrow. Just depends when Ess can get to it. But if the new USLEEP is almost out, it'll probably wait until then. -
DROPPED Immersive Citizens - AI Overhaul (by Shurah)
TechAngel85 replied to EssArrBee's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Yes, same. It's incorporated into the STEP Patches. @ALL, Please note the new version of ICAIO requires a new game when updating due to changes in the update. ONLY install the update if you will be starting a new playthrough. -
ACCEPTED Weapon and Armor Fixes (by kryptopyr)
TechAngel85 replied to WilliamImm's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I think we're all in agreement that both these new options are wanted. I will update the mod page FOMOD instructions to reflect. -
We're going to need to update the Patches again due to an update to ICAIO.

DynDOLOD installation error and discrepancy
TechAngel85 replied to RainyDayMatt's question in General Skyrim LE Support
You should follow the written Guide. It will be the most up-to-date of the two. If you're having troubles, I would start fresh by deleting the mod and reinstalling a fresh copy to use. When loading saves, make sure you're not loading into a save that already has DynDOLOD present in it; else, you need to follow the updating procedures found in the DynDOLOD manual. This manual is found with the mod, if you installed it according to our directions.- 3 replies

That's no contest to me. This mod wins. What is the resolution of the one from STEP?
