I just watched the NVIDIA Special Event video series over this announcement and it is quite interesting and amazing. The pricing isn't bad either. GTX 1080 will be $599 and the GTX 1070 will be $379. Founders editions will be more but allow for "crazy" overclocking. Lots of good stuff and I think they'll be dominating the market with the pascal architecture. AMD better step up!

Yeah, I won't be getting one. I'm always at least one generation behind due to pricing. My 760 currently running everything I need it to without issue.

Super slow and clumsy wiki around 5:00pm CET
TechAngel85 replied to Kesta's question in Wiki Support
The thing is, I sometimes experience it throughout the day. When I'm off that day and working on the wiki for the day, I'll notice it at various times. Usually always happens between 11am and noon CST. The wiki becomes so unresponsive that I'll get 504 errors for 10 to 20 minutes before it returns to normal. I noticed this today, as well, before I left for work. Time out errors is telling me it's CPU load on the server. The rest if the internet works as expected during these time frames so it'll not my ISP, either. -

I have yet to fully test the external patch. Any issues will likely be covered by the STEP Patches, rather than using this patch. I thought it simply took the multiple patches and combined them into one. I do know it allows for RPP to be used, but I've been for dropping it from the beginning if CACO gets accepted. RPP has other issues which have never been addressed so it's best to simply drop it for future compatibility reasons. As I said, I've not looked too far onto the patch, personally. The alternative names version choice is because renaming items for better sorting would not keep it from being in STEP. We do this very thing for Soul Gems Differ and it is acceptable. In light of the information you have provided, I'll revert the OP to using the individual patches when I get home this evening. -
Glad to hear you got a passing grade!

I've updated the OP. It may not be completely accurate. I haven't checked in xEdit to see if the load order matters from the author's thread post. I just barely started sipping my coffee. -

TechAngel85 replied to Kesta's question in Wiki Support
I don't know what causes it, but I experience it was well. This actually happens throughout the day sometimes. It could be a combination of heavy traffic and the wiki refreshing itself, which it does every so often. It makes working on the wiki a rather annoy process sometimes. I've been on it all morning doing some work. -
What you are seeing is the LOD terrain. You're draw distances aren't very far. You can increase most of them at the cost of some performance.

You have double section names all throughout your INI. As far as I'm aware, this configuration is not allowed for the INIs. There can only be one section heading. I would recommend you either start from scratch or regenerate them with spINI. -
Installing all of the mods in the Guide is installing STEP:Extended. REGS has never been a requirement for STEP. The Packs are managed by their own authors.

When working with vanilla content, I've been told it's best to disable and replace it with your own, rather than deleting it and replacing it. If the originals are in your way, just move them outside the area for interiors or below the terrain in exteriors.

Can't get ENB series to work

Use 896. Use all the lowest resolutions when installing mods as well. Using optimized vanilla textures will help you out as well. -
Can't get ENB series to work
TechAngel85 replied to AncientNordicSpoon's question in Post-Processing Support
Some users have reported similar on the ENBSeries forums, but Boris usually just tells them it's on their end not his. In your case, you should only be running ENBoost and not a Preset. Be sure you're copying the .dll and the enhost.exe from each of the versions. They should always be used together from version to version. Don't mix and match. Also be sure you have installed the DX9 runtimes and that your enblocal.ini is set up correctly. -
Your thinking is correct. Anything leveled will spawn enemies or loot according to the player's level. This means you can enter a dungeon at level 5 to see lower level enemies and receive lower level loot. Entering the same dungeon at level 50 will spawn different, harder enemies and better loot because of the player level.

You're game INIs are a mess and you have edits that aren't STEP approved. I would delete them and start from scratch. -

You're system specs are really too low to be running an ENB Preset. -
I think there are only actually 2 map textures in the game. These just need proper compares.

I've scanned through the CK tutorial on scripting and it doesn't seem particularly hard. Just need to learn it: https://ck.uesp.net/wiki/index.php?title=Category:Papyrus
