Oh! Just delete the SKSE folder from the Overwrite mod. What else is in the Overwrite mod?

The icon difference is just due to the different programs set to open them. What is the exact wording on the folder error?

I have an IPS monitor and have barely had to touch the settings during calibration.

DynDOLOD is specifically set up for uGrids of 5. If you want to run at 7, you need to change some settings. Changing uGrids generally messes with things that rely on cell loads, like some quests. Mainly users that are changing this aren't actually playing the game much but are more into modding it and taking pretty screenshots, or they simply don't mind the few things it messes with.

I did a test with it on some 1080p movies and the difference is quite noticeable. The colors are deeper and richer and the contrast is better. ...and here I thought my IPS monitor could look better! I also opened up Skyrim and it seems to be better their as well. I reinstalled ELEP on default settings and this is usually what I play with so it's more or less vanilla with some of the enhanced ENB effects. Looks like this is something that needs to be done on all systems. I'll await a few more results and then add it to the Guide for the next release.

I did. No difference in the few tests I did. I opened up several images and programs and never seen a difference. Haven't tried a game yet. I'll be installing an ENB soon to test this.

Yes, I must have missed that in the post above. Sorry for asking something already answered. What Greg said. Move Steam out of the Program Files folder. Follow the direction steam gives you to do this. As soon as you mentioned MO errors I knew it had to be either this or a botched MO install. Move it and that should remedy most, if not all, the remaining issues.

What's the entire path to Steam? Do you have it installed in C:\Program Files or C:\Program Files (x86)?

You shouldn't have any of those errors. I don't. Where do you have Steam installed? Where do you have MO installed?

Shouldn't be much of an issue removing it. You can use Save Game Cleaner to clean the scripts that it includes.

You can delete the skyrim\src folder and everything that is in it. It's not needed. In MO, your SKSE mod should only have a "Scripts" and "SKSE" folder (like the screenshot I posted). Glad the rest of it is working after starting a new game. You probably just had too much messed up in that save. Now that things have been straightened out a bit, hopefully you can game more happily!

So I looked into the mod and it's basically just marking NPCs as protected; meaning they won't die unless the player kills them. This isn't the best solution for STEP since main of these NPCs should be able to die once their attached quests are completed.

Set EnableEdgeAA=True. All the others should be false. Don't worry if you're missing parameters. Ensure both iMaxAnisotropy=0 and iMultiSample=0 in your SkyrimPrefs.ini. To open this file in MO, click the puzzle icon and click on INI Editor. Click on the SkyrimPrefs.ini tab. Those settings will be under the [Display] heading. Those messages are normal and nothing to worry about. Ensure you have removed the SKSE folder from your 'Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data\Scripts' folder (in the game directory, not from MO). It's possible to happen, yes. Especially if the error is script related. If you're not very far into the game, you could start a new one to see if some of your issues are resolved.
