  1. I've never seen anything like that before. To my (limited) knowledge it looks like a texture problem - but I may be wrong.
  2. What are the mod's conflicts with USKP and UDBP? What do the compatibility patches with USKP and UDBP do? I honestly cannot remember... Download them and load them up in TES5EDIT to check it out.
  3. I use TT2 on my phone and it works perfectly fine... Don't know about 4, sorry.
  4. If it's during combat, your most likely culprits are: - BSF - Enhanced Blood Textures Removing both fixed my freeze issues. In the open world: - Wet & Cold - SkyTest For me it was the latter, after removing it, my freezes stopped.
  5. Did you start a new game or did you add/remove scripted mods to an existing save?
  6. Some more on the subject, an interesting article on its own as well: https://www.forbes.com/sites/kashmirhill/2013/08/09/lavabits-ladar-levison-if-you-knew-what-i-know-about-email-you-might-not-use-it/
  7. LavaBit, provider of - possibly - one of the most secure email services, was froced by American government to suspend their services. All due to data encryption, that was protecting the users privacy and email contents. See the announcement here: https://lavabit.com/ Check the Wiki entry: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lavabit And also read this article: https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2013/aug/08/lavabit-email-shut-down-edward-snowden It's very sad that the government of the country that once claimed great independence and glorified freedom of speech and right to one's privacy has turned 180 degrees :( I feel for you, fellow Americans, as well as I feel for the rest of the world that will probably follow USA's steps in the near future.
  8. Perfectly fine. I use Beauty of Skyrim, then overwrite that with Hectrol and then I put Cabal's on top of that. That way I get all of Cabal textures + the ones that he hasn't covered yet from the other mods.
  9. I'm sold to WATER due to the flow direction. Quality-wise, they're comparable and as you said, both look good/bad/better/worse in various locations, so matter of preference really.
  10. I checked this mod in game and noticed a few quite bad issues. The clouds are way too low, it's very unrealistic. They all move in different directions are the same time, again very unrealistic. All the objects that are in front of the clouds have thick white outline around them, it looks really bad. And, lastly, there is some bad clipping/flickering, similar to distant fog z-fighting, it looks like overlaying cloud clusters are fighting which one should be displayed at the given moment. The clouds look absolutely stunning in game though. If the author finds a way to solve all the above issues I'm definitely going to use this mod, but for now it's a no from me. 11. No, but I can see the difference ingame when I enable it in enb manager Can you enable/disable ENB in game by pressing Shift+F12?
  12. This is the case all over the globe unfortunately... But on the other hand there is a lot of good things happening, things that are not mainstreamed and never will be. This is a subject for a looooong discussion with as many outcomes, as there are opinions. As for Italian food, there is a culinary BBC programme called "Two Greedy Italians", about 2 Italian chefs living in UK, and they go back to Italy and re-discover all those things you talk about, Cabal: they go around villages, look at traditional foods and bring out a lot of Italian culture in the process, while cooking really nice food :) Highly recommended!
  13. Some initial feedback: my system RAM usage went down from 2.7-2.8 GB average to 700-800 MB average. My VRAM usage stayed pretty much at the same level, as prior to using ENBoost. Tested with SPM and VMM for about 1 hour. Note that I was using enblocal.ini provided by the ENB I use (see below), and not the one provided by ENBoost download section. Also, I noticed I have slightly more FPS now, roughly +5 in exteriors and +10 in interiors. I use ENB though (Unreal Cinema namely), so the FPS boost may be due to switching ENB set up from 0186 to 0200. Some more testing to be done, including using higher resolution for exterior textures.
  14. Cabal, to answer your question - STEP aims to enhance the visual aspect of Skyrim - but it also vows to stick to vanilla style of the game as much as possible. Purely from STEP point of view anything that is similar to vanilla would be better. This was the principle of this project since the very beginning. So quite often mods that look stunning would be ditched in favour of mods that may look worse, but are closer to vanilla graphical style. Now, personally I installed Beauty of Skyrim, then I let Hectrol's overwrite that and lastly I added your mod on top of that. This way I get ALL your textures, but also BoS and Hectrol's for the ones your mod doesn't cover (yet?). I am sure that many users will also favour your mod to BoS, but - again - from STEP point of view this may be not the best choice.
  15. Offtop a little: that wolf rocks! I really can't wait for Witcher 3! As for the rabbits - I'm with WI on this one: too cute for my liking. Doesn't really fit into Skyrim IMHO.
  16. Tapatalk HD is more for tablets. I would go with 2.99 one, unless you will use it on tablet, then definitely go with HD.
  17. Really well executed pieces! I've listened to all the track in my music player prior to adding them to the game. The tracks are balanced, not too long and nicely composed. I am an amateur music producer, so I have some experience and I must say these are well produced pieces. They also fit into the TES atmosphere, moreover, I was able to hear some familiar motives from previous TES games. I am definitely adding these to my game. I am also moving this thread to Mod Suggestion forums, as I think this would be an excellent addition to STEP - it is not changing the game anyhow, but enhancing the vanilla experience by adding new music, that fits perfectly to vanilla tracks atmosphere. I would like for an admin to mark this for testing, although there isn't much to test. Only thing is this mod overwrites some tracks added by Dawnguard - I am creating a patch for it, so that the game plays all the tunes.
  18. Yeah, anything that's profile specific (i.e. Bashed Patch, SkyProc Patcher files, Community Uncapper ini files) has to be manually replaced. I keep separate folders with all the relevant files in my MO Overwrites folder and swap the files when I change profiles.
  19. https://www.gamespot.com/news/the-elder-scrolls-anthology-revealed-6412405 Oh. My. Dearest. I am SO drooling already. Time to start filling my piggybank!
  20. There is a very informative explanation by the mod author a few posts above.
  21. Following your question, I backed up my own modlist.txt files and guess what...? Yesterday while installing a large mod my MO crashed and I lost ALL MY PROFILES! Luckily I've had a backup I made a day before :)
  22. BSA is like a zip file, yes. Loose files means the BSA is unpacked. When you launch Skyrim, the loose files ALWAYS overwrite the BSA files. So for example if you install texture mod in loose files, and then install other textures mod (that covers the same stuff) after it, but in BSA format, then the first mod would be what you see in game, even though in theory the last one installed should be what you see. Using BSA however has it's benefits, especially in regards to access time (the data is read faster by the game if it's back into the BSA, or this is my understanding at least).
  23. Open your enbeffects.fx file in notepad and search for "applygamecolourcorrection" or very similar entry. Input "//" in front of it to fix the nightvision. Your enb preset will look differently, but that's the trade-off for being able to use night vision. Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
