Some weapons not using iron sights
GSDFan replied to Blackice's question in Guide Support & Bug Reports
WRYE should not change the load order when run. Make sure the "Lock Times" is unchecked. Right click any column header to get the menu for the setting. -
I marked this a solved as clearing the web cache worked for me.

Import mod order from other profile but keep installed mods the same?
GSDFan replied to kebab4tw's question in Mod Organizer Support
No, the copy profile will copy all that information to a new profile for you. If you already have a new profile created then copy loadorder.txt, modlist.txt and plugins.txt from the old profile to the new one. Shut down MO first before you do this to be safe. -
DROPPED Fast Travel Timescale Fix (by rolloLG, Hexaae)
GSDFan replied to stoppingby4now's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I would guess that it is included in the patch to reduce plugin count then. -
Mods installed by MO doesn´t load ingame
GSDFan replied to ferferga's question in Mod Organizer Support
Y No there is not. MO uses a different method called "Virtual file system" or VFS to present the files to the game and any third party tools. MO has to be run in some form in order for this to happen. You have to run them from MO. -
It is basically two part install. In the main blocksteal redux 1_4_1 untick the PreventsAccidentPickup.bsl and the text files. There is already a SKSE folder in the archive. Make note of the name of the mod. Click OK to finish. The second file to install is “All vannila miscItem basket text by White Shadow†with file “PreventsAccidentPickUp.basket†in it. That archive is not properly set up. On install make sure the filename is the same as that first part. Click on the “<data>†right click and select create directory. Name this directory SKSE. Click on the SKSE, right click and create a new directory called Plugins. You will now have SKSE\Plugins. You can now drag the PreventAccidentPickUp.basket into the Plugins folder. If you did everything properly MO will ask if you want to merge or replace the mod, select merge. This is the SKSE\Plugins directory This is the second file to install This is the merge dialog

Mod Organizer is not running FO3 through Steam.
GSDFan replied to NexusAU's question in Mod Organizer Support
This works better than adding MO a a non-Steam game to get the overlay. It gives the proper community, guides and tracks the time. One caution though, if you run MO through this and do a modding session it will keep adding to the time in game counter. -
I am locking this, Please follow this ay Failed to Assign to Job Object 5. Thanks

Mod Organiser Is Not Properly Launching the Game
GSDFan replied to Mark's question in Mod Organizer Support
I was just curious, MO will create fose\plugins folders and put hook.dll and mo_path.txt in the game vanilla data directory. MO then needs to be restarted for this to happen. The same is true when going back to the modorganizer load mechanism. I was thinking that the files may have not been deleted. -
Mod Organiser Is Not Properly Launching the Game
GSDFan replied to Mark's question in Mod Organizer Support
I just have a question about this. Is the part "through the script extender" the FOSE shortcut or did you at anytime set MO to launch a a script extender in the workarounds tab? -
Mod Organiser Is Not Properly Launching the Game
GSDFan replied to Mark's question in Mod Organizer Support
Just a shot in the dark, but try changing the NMM version in MO to 0.55.6 in settings workaround tab, which is the current version of NMM. -
Mod Organizer is not running FO3 through Steam.
GSDFan replied to NexusAU's question in Mod Organizer Support
If you want the Steam overlay you can do one of the following: Follow this thread on the MO support site. User a_rod wanted a way to have the Steam overlay in fallout 3. Or you can try the following two things. Add MO a non-steam game to Steam and use that shortcut to launch MO and Then Launch the Game via FOSE. This will give you the use of the Steam overlay when the game launches. However it will not update the “You’ve Played†time for fallout. If you want to go directly to the game and bypass MO do the following: From MO select FOSE as the application to launch. Select the shortcut dialog and select desktop. Close MO and find the desktop shortcut just created and right click on it and select properties. The target field should be highlighted so copy the whole thing. Open notepad and paste it into the document. Mine looks like this: "D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 3 goty\ModOrganizer\ModOrganizer.exe" "D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 3 goty\fose_loader.exe" Open Steam and add a non-Steam game as before or browse to the desktop and find the short you just made. Add the selected game. When the game shows up in the list of games, right click it and select properties. Click on the “Set launch options†and add the second half of the MO shortcut with the quotes. Using my example it would be: "D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 3 goty\fose_loader.exe". Click close and run the link from Steam. MO will need to be closed. This will give you the use of the Steam overlay when the game launches. However it will not update the “You’ve Played†time for fallout. It will use the last active when MO was shutdown. Please consider this a hack. This has not been tested in anyway, shape or form other than to see if I could get the overlay to work. -
MO won't load mods in Oblivion, game launching twice

MO won't load mods in Oblivion, game launching twice
GSDFan replied to Mestrrekkr's question in Mod Organizer Support
For starters you should not use the games launcher from MO to start the game. If you are not using the Oblivion script extender, OBSE, then start the game with the oblivion shortcut. If you are using OBSE, then you have to do a couple more thing to get the script extender to work. You have to go into the MO settings, the wrench icon, and click on the workaround tab and change the “Load Mechanism†from Mod Organizer to Script Extender and restart MO. From now on you mod in MO and run the game from Steam. -
Vsync not working, setting pics inside

I will have to check with Vsync settings, I run override settings for the gsync monitor right now. -
Nearly done installing, couple of questions
GSDFan replied to Tempest's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
You can right click on the mod in question and select to reinstall it and when asked to merge or replace select replace. The mod will stay in the current position. This also works for double clicking on the archive in the download pane. -
Vsync not working, setting pics inside
GSDFan replied to MaroES's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Just a note on driver vsync. I use this for my skyrim. I turn off all ini settings related to it in any place I can find. I do have a Gsync 144 Hz monitor, so I use Nvidia Inspector to set FPS Limit to 58 fps (might improve inputlag on vsync 60Hz) setting. For the most part I get a constant 50ish fps range in game and an occasional stutter. -
OBLIVION Default launch ignores MO Profile INI and Saves
GSDFan replied to Rebelweasel's question in Mod Organizer Support
If I remember correctly, Setting the load mechanism to script extender will set MO run as a script extender plugin. The proper way to use MO in this way is to mod in MO and run the game from Steam. You can't run OBSE from MO and it will not load if you run the game from MO. You have to run the game from Steam. Unless something changed somewhere along the line, this will not use the MO profile ini files, but the game default configuration files. MO will also manage those saves in the My Games > Oblivion folder and there will not be any profile specific saves. -
You have the Darnified Mod installed. When you launch do you have the head icon in the lower left of the screen and is it Large or small.
-
It should not be, MO is portable and stores its settings in each directory. How many ESPs are in the right pane? It looks about 48, but I don't know if there are more below what is shown in the picture.
-
The Fallout-Invalidation.bsa should be at the very top of the list.
-
The argument as written will put the FalloutMO.exe in the root folder. This was done because at the time MO could not find the exes folder and place the executable there. That is why it was renamed and placed in the root folder, two files with the same name can't exist in the same folder. In v1.3.6 this appears to be fixed as I posted in ModOrganizer v1.3.4 4Gb.exe -laaexe .\FalloutnvMO.exe thread, so the argument is no longer needed. In the archives tab make sure MO is managing the BSAs and that they are checked.

Trouble with User Interface Organizer (UIO).
GSDFan replied to vugavavy's topic in Fear & Loathing in New Vegas
The main MO support thread has a topic about this, it should still be relevant. It can be found here UIO and Mod Organizer Just remember it is critical to get things in proper order. -
Please remember that Mod Organizer is the core manager for the Clear and Present Danger - A guide for modding Fallout 3. As such troubleshooting will be limited to those who have a specific knowledge to your problem. Using NMM you will not have the drag and drop priority mod ordering and file conflict view, which aids in troubleshooting problems, that MO provides. Have you use LOOT or BOSS to sort the plugins and run xEdit to see if you have any errors in your load order?

Vsync not working, setting pics inside
GSDFan replied to MaroES's question in General Skyrim LE Support
What about in Nvidia settings for Elder scrolls Skyrim (tesv.exe)? Your pictures do not show that one.
