  1. I'm guessing you just upgraded to Windows 10. My brother had pretty much the same error and all he had to do was reinstall his graphics driver and that fixed it. Try doing that. Edit: Nvm. Just saw you solved it.
  2. Yes, you need to enable it.
  3. Try launching Oblivion like you normally would through Steam. Is OBSE active then?
  4. I have 2.1.1 (still haven't updated to the latest -- I'm terrible about installing updates). I'll see if I can't get that to you via Copy.
  5. Nothing wrong with that. That is all good, but I'm assuming you are looking for evidence that OBSE is or is not working, since you say it is not working. I need to know how you know it isn't working (unless, of course, it is working).
  6. Well, I upgraded from 8.1 to 10 and got an increase too, so either or.
  7. Obse plugin must be installed to the data directory in this setup. This includes oblivion reloaded. Doing that, does that solve the issue?
  8. This kind of thing should be posted on the bug tracker.
  9. I've been replaying Diablo 2 lately
  10. Just use TG in console if you wish to remove grass that badly.
  11. b30GrassVS toggles shader 3.0 filters on grass vertex shader??? It might not do anything. iGrassCellRadius sets the radius of cells around the player that grass is drawn (I think). Anyhow, according to Sheson, the maximum you can use without issues is half of uGridsToLoad minus 1. uGridsToLoad=5 -> iGrassCellRadius=2 uGridsToLoad=7 -> iGrassCellRadius=3 uGridsToLoad=9 -> iGrassCellRadius=4
  12. Well, the setting is there, but it doesn't indicate what it does. Are you saying that it disable the tutorial popups? If so, we should add it.
  13. Try this: Install Oblivion to a location where you have full User Account Control of it. Launch Oblivion to create INIs and make sure Oblivion does not CTD for whatever reason. Install OBSE and launch it to make sure OBSE works Install Mod Organizer (MO) (preferably to the Oblivion directory) Launch MO MO will present a window asking you to select the game you wish to manage. Select Oblivion, which should be automatically recognized. If it is not, you may use the browse function to find your game folder and select it. First time users will receive a message to show the tutorial. It is highly recommended to do so. Click the wrench button in the toolbar, and select the Nexus tab. Check automatically log in box and insert your Nexus username and password. Also click the Associate with "Download with Manager" links button. Go to the Workarounds tab and make sure Steam App ID says 22330. Change Load Mechanism to Script Extender. Uncheck Force-enable game files and click OK to exit settings. Turn on Archive Invalidation by clicking the profile button in the toolbar and check Automatic Archive Invalidation. Repeat this for all new profiles you create. Go to the Archives tab in the right pane and make sure that:Have MO manage archives is checkedAll BSAs are checkedDrag and drop the Archive Invalidation BSA in the top group to the absolute top of that list. Otherwise AI will not work.If it doesn't work, it may be that the Steam version will not work at all. I don't have the Steam version (I'm a retail disc guy whenever possible), but everyone with the Steam version seems to be having trouble lately.
  14. Could you add that to the INI guide please?
  15. Well, my Skyrim definitely is getting better fps after upgrading to Windows 10, so I'm happy. Only noticed a few minor UI glitches plus the common crashes of modern apps (I've found they tend to crash if they don't launch quickly enough--some kind of timeout I guess).
  16. Meh. I got nothing to hide. What could Microsoft possibly do to me with my personal info? Visit me? Steal my credit card?
  17. Try reinstalling your trackpad driver. I've upgraded successfully to Windows 10. Now to look for the bugs.
  18. Open Task Manager (CTRL+Shift+ESC), right-click the DDSopt process, click Set Affinity, and change it to however many you want to use.
  19. I'm not entirely a guinea pig. I have it set on a beautifully separate partition just for the test
  20. I've pre-downloaded all my drivers and am downloading the upgrade now. Created two different rescue drives just in case.
  21. Here's The Incredibly Hacky Way to Disable Windows 10 Updates Told ya.
  22. They had a lot of experience with it during the Windows 8 to 8.1 upgrade process, so I think upgrading should be relatively safe. To be totally safe, I'd wait a bit and see what people say first. Let them be the guinea pigs!
  23. Verify cache to redownload the Update.esm. Then try again. There are many possibilities for what you experienced, but doing that should take care of it.
  24. Hmmm... don't know how to fix Paypal problems... sometimes they can be quite unpersuasive. Still can't change my email account on it after over a dozen tries. You'd think that such a large site would have a functioning email changing system! Best chance is to try again... or try another card.
  25. Well--that works as well!
