  1. I think you answered your own question? I have an update ready as soon as the Zillya antivirus finishes processing my false positive report. I have finished fixing Mod Organizer 2 detection and integration. There are a lot more variables with Mod Organizer 2, so there may be bugs in my implementation, but I have tested it with all the cases I can think of and it is working flawlessly.
  2. Thanks! Fixed.
  3. Ok, I now understand why MO2 isn't working perfectly with BethINI. I need to adjust some things that were changed and then implement a workaround. I'll use a workaround for the profile INIs not working by copying the INIs to My Games for Fallout 4 and SkyrimSE if Mod Organizer is being used for those games. I will assume that people are using Mod Organizer 1.x for the older games, as it is more stable. I got it working for SkyrimSE if used in portable mode, but I need to learn how to work with this new thing of putting the files in AppData, plus the difficulties inherent with the nxmhandler pointing multiple games to the same Mod Organizer installation.
  4. This is intentional behavior. Everything in SkyrimCustom.ini works in Skyrim.ini, but SkyrimCustom.ini overrides Skyim.ini. The purpose of SkyrimCustom.ini was so that the buggy Skyrim Launcher wouldn't mess with settings in SkyrimCustom.ini. I merely make Skyrim.ini and SkyrimCustom.ini identical in order to allow my tool to successfully work with it.
  5. Ah, so I see they moved the nxmhandlers.ini file. No wonder there is an ERROR. And because profile INIs don't work, I will need to make a workaround to allow mods to be detected. Fun.
  6. Could you give me the log.txt file in BethINI Cache (located where your INIs are) so I can see perhaps why the Mod Organizer location for MO2 leads to ERROR. This is a problem that is inherent only to MO2 that I would like to see if I can fix. It will also tell me why it could not discover your mods. It appears that MO2 made some changes to paths and such that makes my detection fail. You can use Pastebin After testing, MO2 currently does not actually use its profile INI files. You have to point to the INI files located in Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition
  7. I still need to test MO 2 myself, so I really don't know.
  8. 1. You can add your own tweaks back in, no problem. 2. You won't have to, unless you change the uGrids.
  9. Again, I can't help you if you don't post your INI files.
  10. Those settings are bogus, which is why they are removed.
  11. Just open BethINI and hit Save and Close. You seem to be making drastic moves to fix this. There are way more settings that could toggle off your compass than just that one, which is why I need to see what they look like. Also, please make sure it isn't a mod that is doing this.
  12. Please post your INI files to Pastebin so I can see what is going on.
  13. I do intend to add that.
  14. OK, good. I thought the depth of field didn't quite look like the native Skyrim SE depth of field. Glad to help.
  15. OK. That definitely looks like depth of field. Now, just to be sure, you are not using ENB or Reshade Depth of Field, correct? And you are modifying the correct INI files, right? Are you using Mod Organizer 2? And finally, post a copy of your INI files on pastebin for me to look at.
  16. You can also find a large amount of other INI settings related to DOF in the masterlist of INI settings here: https://forum.step-project.com/topic/11523-skyrim-special-edition-default-values-for-all-valid-ini-settings/ Searching for words such as DOF and Depth brings up a number of possible settings you might tweak to remove depth of field.
  17. Can you take a screenshot? I disabled DOF and I don't see any blurring when I look down at the ground.
  18. @Dath1 Are you sure what you are seeing is Depth of Field blur? DOF isn't the only thing that can blur the image. TAA adds a large amount of blur, and FXAA adds some blur as well. Try setting Antialiasing to None and see if the blur you are seeing disappears. If it does, I recommend you research SMAA and how you can apply it to Skyrim SE (generally using Reshade). I can imagine it would be possible, but I have never seen this bug. Is there a possibility you have the log file from 20170120xxxxxx in the BethINI Cache that would coincide with those files' creation? Otherwise, this may be a very hard bug to track down.
  19. In the game menu settings, set the slider for depth of field all the way to the left.
  20. This can also occur due to incorrect INI settings, just for reference.
  21. Display adapter is for your monitor(s), not your graphics card. It only will display one (zero) if you only have one.
  22. OK. So the ideal method would be to set it to resolution width divided by height times 0.021.
  23. I was told 0.042 was the best value to use. Is there some mathematical formula to calculate this? I am on a 21:9 monitor myself. Mouse acceleration only exists in Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas.
  24. Oh. I misunderstood when you said MO window said ERROR. I understand now that was my drop down. I don't have MO2 installed, so I will have to see what is going on there.
