I am tempted to start releasing it as the base Ahk script form and require users to install Autohotkey. That way it wouldn't trigger the antiviruses to label it as a Trojan.
-
I suppose that restricting the amount of decals as much as I do on the Poor preset might cause them to turn blue. Which game is it?

Download from one of the other Nexus pages https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/69787? Reuploaded on the problem page. Hopefully it will upload this time.
-
The pages were never locked that I am aware of. I know that the files were locked, but I got a mod to fix it. Everything looks fine now for me.

Source code is in the Source folder in the archive. Some antiviruses are overly aggressive in their classification of files that they have never seen before. Just install autohotkey and run the ahk file if you don't trust my executable.

Version 2.7.1 -Behind the Scenes: BethINI now will remember the INI Path last used when switching between games. -Bugfix: Changing the Game, Game Path, or INI Path in the Setup tab when the Always Select Game toggle is on will now skip the "Choose Game" dialog box upon reloading.-Bugfix: If the Always Select Game toggle was enabled and a previous use of BethINI had used a different game, the Game Path and INI Path would erroneously default to that of the previous game.-Bugfix: If the Default button was pressed after the Recommended Tweaks checkbox was checked, not all the recommended tweaks would be applied, but yet the checkbox would indicate that they still were applied.-Bugfix/Harmful Tweaks: Added checks for the archive lists for Skyrim, Fallout 3, and Fallout New Vegas (the only games that do not have the correct lists by default), fixing any that were left at their default values.-Harmful Tweaks: Added checks for sFontFile_2 and sFontFile_7 to ensure that they are pointing to font files (CTD will occur otherwise). Looks like Nexus has the file under quarantine atm, so probably will have to wait for one of the mods to clear it. Edit: Nexus has cleared the new version on the Skyrim page at least... https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/69787?tab=files

The STEP guide is for original Skyrim, not Skyrim Special Edition. bAllowScreenshot is not used in Skyrim Special Edition. Indeed, Skyrim Special Edition does not have a setting to toggle the ability to take screenshots IIRC. I did this on purpose because at the time Mod Organizer 2 did not use the profile INIs and would just pull the ones from My Games. Since then, I think that Mod Organizer 2 has seen a lot of progress, so that may be fixed by now, in which case I should remove that workaround.

Something else must be adding bEnableFileSelection as it isn't added in my Oblivion.ini. Perhaps the line is incorrectly in your Oblivion_default.ini in your game folder? I don't have an instruction to add it. As far as I know, the line would do nothing, but if it did anything, it would affect the Launcher somehow. The other settings is a fix that BethINI applies. They are erroneously placed in [Display] when they should only be in [LOD]. Observant you are. These are all fixes that BethINI automatically applies to the INI files. Using console commands, one can discover which settings are invalid. BethINI removes a specific list of known invalid settings.
-
Default is merely the settings used if you do not adjust them. It is easy open up BethINI and change it to full screen. Ensure that your resolution is correct in BethINI and uncheck windowed mode.
-
You need to press the Default preset button in order for it to check for and add the archives, because the program assumes that you are modifying an existing INI file, not starting a new one from scratch. From your log, I can see you didn't reset the INI files to Default first. I guess I can make a check to ensure that someone doesn't inadvertently use an INI file that is missing those values. The reason why I don't just always force those files is because I wish to maintain compatibility with various total conversion mods, like Enderal for example, that changes the archive settings to it's own archives.

Could you please replicate the issue and give me the log file? My monitor fell and broke in an accident, but I have a new one arriving Tuesday so I should be able to get a look at it hopefully.

In the setup tab, make sure your game is correct, your game path is correct, and your Mod Organizer path is correct. Changing these may restart BethINI and correct the problem. If the profile path is still incorrect, simply browse to the correct folder. The reason for the 404 is because I merged a topic into my thread, and it screwed up the thread number. I updated the pages on the Nexus but not in the app yet.

1. Default FOV for Skyrim Special Edition is 80. 2. IIRC you can use both at the same time, but it would be a bad idea. It would significantly blur the image. TAA already turns it into Vaseline. 3. What is max depends a lot on what mods you are running. I can't remember if I really touched particle settings much in the presets. If you turn it up really high, it will cause a performance drop during heavy snowstorms, which may become major blizzards. Tune it however high you like.
-
That depends on the LOD setting, and it somewhat depends on the game. For instance, light LOD (Light Fade slider) appears to take up very little performance, and turning it up does not cause any issues, which is why I typically crank it way high. Object LOD (Object Fade slider), however, can cause a considerable performance hit. Tree LOD (Far-off Tree Distance drop-down) has been known to cause extreme macrostutters if set too high. Bad Distant Object Detail values can make z-fighting more prevalent while not really improving the picture very much at high values.

I don't see a body mod listed in that list of mods, yet there obviously is one being incorrectly applied. My guess is that Nexus Mod Manager failed to uninstall all mods, so you need to manually remove the rogue mod files.
-
I think that maybe you might have an incompatible mod(s) if you got some of them working and then when you enabled them all it broke again. Try disabling them all and re-enable them one by one, or three by three or something like that, so that you can find the incompatibility.
-
Boy, I really am at a loss on this one. That INI file has nothing wrong that I can see. It should be loading loose files and your mods without problem.
-
Okay. So the problem appears to be loose files are not loading. Please post your Fallout4.ini. You should use spoilers:

I don't think that I have ever tried Morroblivion. Oblivion I have used in conjunction with Mod Organizer; however, I have never used it in conjunction with the Configurator plugin. Most likely it is looking for the typical botched INI file setup that my tool fixes and gets confused. OK. What mods are missing?
