hi there.

I have some question about Skyrim HD 2K texture. Actualy the changlog said we just use the Landscape, i didn't look even deeper yet, the other texture aren't enought vanilla style ? or not enought great ?

There should be no need to hide LOD textures provided by mods. The DynDoLOD TexGen script ignores these files and generates them based upon the actual textures being used.

OCD comes to mind. Haha!

But seriously, I didn't know that it was smart enough to do all that. I'll remove those lines.

Interesting. Currently my Skyrim HD says its overwriting 2 files. icicle_dds and icicle_n_dds from HDDLC2. It then goes on to say that 92 of its files are being overwritten. And finally, Non Conflicted Files = 1. I have it installed via the Guides directions, and have the long list of files either hidden or deleted.

Am I understanding this right? I have this installed for 1 file? lol Its all being overwritten by various STEP Extended Mods, SeriousHD,StepGenLOD Textures (mentioned above), and a few others. GamerPoets video doesn't mention having to do the dyndolodTexGen step with STEP LOD Textures. The guide does and thats what I've done. So is this all good or can I scrap Skyrim HD?

Thanks for any insight.

Currently under moderation review on Nexus.

I don't understand anything about how their forum work, so I haven't found the discussion thread about it. But according to some comments on reddit, there is accusation of stolen ressources.

Soon everyone will be forced to use the HRDLC! no more HD packs left!

You're probably right about that. I hope it comes through okay because Skyrim HD is a major component for the landscapes for STEP.
