I'll have to take a look at it. Right now I like verdant over SFO. The forest feels more like a forest, the tundra feels like a tundra, etc. It's all a very nice change over SFO.

I'd take Verdant over SFO any day, as well as over Unbelievable Grass Two.  Can't remember if I ever used the grass from EL, but I definitely used the rest of it in the past.

 

For me what really kills it is how the colors of Verdant complement the various environments in Skyrim.  I use it alongside Unique Flowers and Plants and Enhanced Vanilla Trees and said goodbye to SFO completely a long time ago.

I like this mod too for classic, but I'm not sure it's STEP material. Extended, if anything. For SSE I've been using Vanilla Vegetation Overhaul, which is very nice for a vanilla feel. For classic, Verdant is probably the best alternative.
