Marlen Posted January 1, 2016 Posted January 1, 2016 "non-MO users can register the BSA, make a plugin to load or extract to loose files (not recommended)."How to create plugin for it or register the BSA? Can anyone tell me please?
Greg Posted January 1, 2016 Posted January 1, 2016 You'll have to add it to the end of sResourceArchiveList2 in the Archive section of Skyrim.ini like this: [Archive] sResourceArchiveList=Skyrim - Misc.bsa, Skyrim - Shaders.bsa, Skyrim - Textures.bsa, Skyrim - Interface.bsa, Skyrim - Animations.bsa, Skyrim - Meshes.bsa, Skyrim - Sounds.bsa sResourceArchiveList2=Skyrim - Voices.bsa, Skyrim - VoicesExtra.bsa,STEP_Vanilla_Optimized_Textures_S1.bsa,STEP_Vanilla_Optimized_Textures_S2.bsa
hishutup Posted January 1, 2016 Posted January 1, 2016 Is that under 255 characters, if so, you'll have to change the bsa names to something shorter
EssArrBee Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 Just make a plugin and name it the same as the BSA and place it after the UHRP plugin.
Marlen Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 (edited) Just make a plugin and name it the same as the BSA and place it after the UHRP plugin. That's the problem I don't know how to make it. Thanks for answering. Edited January 2, 2016 by Marlen
EssArrBee Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 That's the problem I don't know how to make it.Thanks for answering.Make a copy of a dummy plugin, like one of the HRDLC plugins, then just rename it to match the BSA's name.
TechAngel85 Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 I attempted to upload a newer version, but it failed. The thing is quite large so I will do another attempt tomorrow.
Nebulous112 Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 Nice, Tech! New STEP Optimized Textures will be great. :-) Edit: I assume they will stay in the same MO priority position in the guide, after the Unofficial High Resolution Patch?
TechAngel85 Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 The Performance version finally uploaded. I'm attempting the Standard version now...again...for the 5th time. The file is so huge it keeps failing.
TechAngel85 Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Okay, so I've tried multiple times without luck to upload the new Standard version. Every time I end up with a message "the connection was reset". So I'm going to sync the files to the STEP Copy Share. If one of the other staff could download them and attempt to upload them, that would be great!
DoubleYou Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Well I doubt my slow 49 kB/s upload speed will work.
TechAngel85 Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 I have 1.5 to 3mbps up, depending on the amount of people using up bandwidth, but it failed every time for me. Got the Performance version up, though.
wubbit Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 Hi, guys. Just a little confused here. I'm following the step core guide 'step by step' HA. Okay, my confusion is that I'm installing this and it asks me if I've installed SMIM and Realistic Ragdoll, but those come later in the pack. So I'm really confused if I should click yes or no considering I haven't gotten to those mods yet in the install/load order as dictated on the STEP CORE wiki.

Download one of the optional files (standard is STEP baseline) and use that. The file you already downloaded will be used later on.
