No idea where to put this so sorry if this is wrong...but what is the difference between calibrating your monitor using the AMD CCC Desktop Colors tool and doing the same thing under the "my flat panel display" tab or whatever it's called (also in CCC). They both have identical controls (conract, brightness, gamma, etc.). Again, sorry that this is the wrong place. I just wanted to bring it up in case the desktop colors weren't actually being shown in game. I thought about this after reading how windows color management color profiles are deactivated in game.

Graphics-driver version usually has more range and degrees of freedom. Just follow the instructions and notice that #3 is the 'best' method, given that #1-#2 are not set to 'extremes' (those should be set to baseline defaults)

I know but if you look through CCC, there are TWO areas where you can change colors/gamma/etc. One is under "Desktop Management" and the other is under "My Display Flat Panels." I'm sorry if I misunderstood but it looks like they are BOTH driver-managed color controls.

Aren't changes in one area reflected in the other where there are redundancies?

I use "Desktop Management" I think, and there is a button in the middle of this that must be clicked on to engage the CCC 2D drivers.

No they both act separately. AMD isn't one to have logical controls :P.

Ignore "My display flat panels" and leave it at defaults, since it does not have a gamma setting and is monitor specific (DVI only). From the help menu:

Display Color for Digital Flat-Panels (DVI Monitors)

Use the Display Color (Digital Flat-Panel) page to set the hue, saturation, brightness, contrast, and color temperature for displays connected through a DVI connection.

This page contains color settings for individual displays. To configure color settings a particular desktop and all its associated displays, see Desktop Color instead.

Desktop Color

Use the Desktop Color page to adjust color settings, such as gamma, brightness, and contrast, for a particular desktop. If multiple displays are associated with the desktop, then all changes in the page are applied to each of the displays.

The Desktop Color page is found under the Desktops and Displays > Desktop Management group in Standard View or the Desktop Management group in Advanced View.

To adjust color settings for an individual display, use the Display Color page for that particular display. For more information, see Display Devices.

... all you need to know seems to be in the help.

You could use either, but only "Desktop Management" tool has gamma, so I would use that. It really doesn't matter in the end, as long as you can match --on your monitor-- the color-management references linked.

Realistic Mushrooms

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/29935

Telvanni Reborn

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/34601

Both of these mods are down and an extensive search has turned up nothing. Ill be continuing on with STEP 2.2.9 but just let me know if I should frett over it.

Author hid them for updating I think.

REMEMBER: Set iPresentInterval=0 in SkyrimPrefs.ini (See STEP:Guide INI Tweaks) in https://wiki.step-project.com/ENBoost#Recommendations points to the 2.2.8 guide instead to 2.2.9.

Fixed.

Also the Improved Closefaced Helmets desciption in the guide is not right:

  • "Improved Closefaced Helmets --FULL SET-- V0_9"
  • "Improved Dawnguard helmets"
  • "Improved Closefaced Helmets -- Dragonborn Addon -- 0_9"
  • "improved imperial full face helmet - no cloth around the neck-"

Only the Improved Closefaced Helmets --FULL SET-- V0_9 exists on the nexusmods page: https://www.nexusmods...?id=15927&pUp=1

at Consistent Older People in the 2.2.9 guide (Notes) : Consistent Older People All NPCs CRF BOYD Compatible, there is no such main file. Only:  Consistent Older People 30 All NPCs BOYD Compatible.

This mod updated and we've not had a chance to update the mod page yet.

I've updated the mod page for this; however, the mod will not fully work until the Weapons and Armor Fixes Remade Patch is updated for the new version. Specifically, dragon priest masks will not fully work.
