phryxolydian Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 (edited) Skyrim Landscape Overhaul From the mod's page:Overhauls the detail and number of static items in the world to give a more 3d and realistic feeling to the game. I also fixed some bugs while I was doing this such as fixing wrong placements of object and putting the correct one back in. Haven't tried it myself but perhaps it could be a candidate for REGS. Anyone here tried it yet? Edited August 3, 2015 by DoubleYou
DoYouEvenModBro Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 This looks really interesting. Would this ever fit in step?
plaGGy Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 Hm, i dont know.Seems to be a lot of placed objects and so a lot of potential incompatibilities. Also i would like to have some before/after shots instead of just some screenshots.
phryxolydian Posted May 16, 2014 Author Posted May 16, 2014 So far there really haven't been lots of incompatibility reports, a guy about some shrines or something but not much else. Added some images to the first post. Tbh, aside from the fixes, like getting rid of the Aspen leaves on the Guardian Stones, I don't think I'd really notice the additions..
torminater Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Don't think so, at least not for Core, since it's not a fix, but a stylistic change.
DoYouEvenModBro Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Definitely not core, but what about extended?
Garfink Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 Anyone actually using this? Does it look appropriate and not too much?
torminater Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 Afaik there is a ton of additions, each of them needing an individual assessment... Anybody willing can dig into it.
Kuldebar Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 (edited) First glance, they are nice and not oversized. I saw right away what looks very much like oak leaf debris around Rverwood, which is unfortunately out of place. Scratch that, my remarks were concerning: CAD25 Landscape Texture Pack exterior Edited May 31, 2014 by Kuldebar
hishutup Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 well, there was an update which covers tamriel.I really like this mod and it seems to do ok with ETaC and Custom Placed Trees Megapatch I suggest that you guys give this a look even though its probably not step-like.
TechAngel85 Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Thanks for the heads up, I might do a compare
Muladhara86 Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 (edited) I've been using this for a while. The changes aren't well documented, so it's been hard to check changes in-game. I'll admit that it does look great, especially with DynDOLOD. There are a lot of changes around the Whiterun exterior, and it conflicts with Elysium Estate, and a very little with the Whiterun Exterior portion of ETaC. Nothing that couldn't be taken care of quickly by a CK wizard or some disabled commands. Edited August 4, 2015 by Muladhara86
hishutup Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 The edits are literally everywhere, I was originally going to ignore it if they are minor edits but they are actually very nice additions. The world fells like it has a little more substance now, like Oblivion.
Muladhara86 Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 (edited) The edits are literally everywhere, I was originally going to ignore it if they are minor edits but they are actually very nice additions. The world fells like it has a little more substance now, like Oblivion.Like a Unique Landscapes pack from Oblivion, but for Skyrim. With the scope of it's edits, it's natural to find incompatibilities with some mods editing exteriors. However, even with some weirdness here or there, like snow drifts that are floating on one side, it feels unnaturally barren now when I disable this mod (especially since I added DynDOLOD).
