Dreadflopps Modular patches

Could some kind soul check these instructions for merging plugins and see if there are any bad spelling or language. Also check for instructions that are unclear:

https://wiki.step-project.com/User:Dreadflopp/Merging_Plugins#Merging_Instructions

https://wiki.step-project.com/User:Dreadflopp/Merging_Plugins_With_TES5Edit

I made some minor corrections to both pages. Can you clarify what you mean in this step?

  • If you didn't get any errors, right click the merge/Build merge

I'm assuming you mean right click on the merged mod?

Thanks for your help. Yes, that is what I mean.

@dreadflopp

I finally decided to remove EBT from my load order due to I got random CTDs with the heavy setup of SRLE + REGS + MMO. I tried the Better Blood splatter, but it looks disappointing. I searched several forums and I got the idea. I use EBT textures without plugins/scripts/mesh. EBT provides texture replacement for 16 files. There are several textures that was not overlap with anything, which I deleted them. EBT textures look much better than Better Blood splatter in-game if you like bloodier battle. I would say it looks about 75% as good as EBT without all the script loads. All random CTDs are gone after the removal. You should try and see.

That is very clever. Never thought about that. I'll definetly include this in the guide. Right now I'm rechecking patches and making everything compatible with https://wiki.step-project.com/Pack:Expansion_for_SRLE

Next thing on the list is adding this. Thanks for sharing.

I am adding that pack to my load order as well. I am still using ETaC modular that compatible with Immersive Citizen. MMO pack is for the most part compatible with SR:LE with slight modifications. If you want to come to the dark side making full conflict resolution with SR:LE (just like STEP), that will be most welcome. I know your time is limited.

Well, I won't have time for a proper SR:LE setup, I am however using a semi SR:Le install. I am using STEP:Extended with all graphic enhancements turned off, the STEP patch, my packs followed by all remaining mods from SR:LE with a few exceptions. Some conflicting mods are not included in my STEP install. I am not using the SR:LE conflict resolution, instead I am using my patches that were just updated. Will add a subguide soon.

Do you recommend updating to CCOR 1.7 Beta?

I am using that version when doing the patches since it will be out of beta once frostfall is updated. If you are using 1.7 you should hide all plugins from cloaks of skyrim.

Packs updated, patches updated. I think I'm done and up to date until Frostfall drops:

* 15-10-31 Updated the instructions on how to remove Enhanced Blood Textures dependency from the STEP patch.

* 15-10-31 Added more compatible packs. Updated patches. Updated patches install instructions. Added SR:LE compatibility subguide.

Checked out IA8. Removed instruction to not use Hothtrooper44_Armor_Ecksstra.esp. My patches were mostly fine, removed one that was never really nescessary (just edited default CCO setting). The MLU patch needs some updates though, possibly only minor updates. Hopefully it'll be updated soon.

Looks like USLEEP will come out this weekend as well.

That is great. It will hopefully be easy to update the patches, I'm hoping changing masters to USLEEP will be enough.
