TechAngel85 Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 Discussion thread: Vivid Landscapes - Tundra Moss Revised by Aron Wiki Link
Octopuss Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 Is there anyone educated in the arts of nature who could say which of the available colours is more realistic? :)
torminater Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 If you don't know what color moss naturally has in similar regions why do you care about what is more realistic??? Just pick the color you like best with your setup...
ShadowNirvana Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 The SMIM compatibility patch only has 2 .nif files in it and it isn't recognized by MO as "data", even when you put the .nif file directly under >data. Is it okay? Will it still work?
Member121 Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 You scared me with the "package must be restructured" instruction. Turns out it's just a matter of right-clicking > Set data directory until "Looks Good" appears. whew
edemircistep Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 You scared me with the "package must be restructured" instruction. Turns out it's just a matter of right-clicking > Set data directory until "Looks Good" appears. whewYou can check that you installed it correctly. Assuming you have one mod installed (and not two) for the SMIM patch; if you right click the mod, go to information, filetree tab, you should see two different trees that result to a single NIF file. IF this isn't the case. Uncheck mod, Remove mod, Reinstall mod, and when manual comes up, drag "HIGH POLY MESH(FOR THE SAME OBJECT) into Data just above it (not the top level data). Then right click Data (not <data>) and choose set working directory. This will install correctly.
Eagleman Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 Which one of the three optional files (SMIM patches) should i use?
TechAngel85 Posted November 9, 2014 Author Posted November 9, 2014 Also install the SMIM patch, using 'high poly mesh' version from it. This version is buried within the package, and the package will need to be restructured.
minos55 Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 Ok I am confused about edemircistep post so what should i do with this patch now? if i move high poly mesh into data up, it looks like this:Data meshes high poly mesh Data meshesThis shouldn't be right? Or what should i use as data?
TechAngel85 Posted November 9, 2014 Author Posted November 9, 2014 Right-click on "Data" under "high poly mesh" and then click "Set Data Directory". Install the mod, merging it into the original mod.
EssArrBee Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 This mod just got some update files for LODs and noise textures. Gonna have to take a look.
Octopuss Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 (edited) This mod just got some update files for LODs and noise textures. Gonna have to take a look. That's the new mod. People might not have noticed, but he released new mod with almost the same name, which makes use of the new ENB hack (or whatever that is) for terrain parallax. I don't like it, looks like plastic, but some people do. Anyway, the mod in this thread is Vivid Landscapes - Tundra Moss Revised, and the one you're talking about is Vivid Landscapes - Tundra Region. It's fairly confusing. Shadowbane1213 Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 If I decide to install the 2k version of this mod would I still have to install the SMIM compatibility patch?
