rootsrat Posted June 10, 2013 Posted June 10, 2013 https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/27022/ Yet another weather enhancement from Manny. Looks awesome on videos and it's compatible with CoT. Instead of describing it, I will just post this: [video=youtube]
Ganda Posted June 10, 2013 Posted June 10, 2013 You really love Manny's mods :p Looks great, will test tomorrow. How is the performance hit?
rootsrat Posted June 10, 2013 Author Posted June 10, 2013 I was just looking for some weather enhancers and he made a few mods for this :) Not sure about performance hit, I have not tested it yet properly. The guy in the above video mentions it's minimal though.
stoppingby4now Posted June 10, 2013 Posted June 10, 2013 Based on the video alone, I definitely want to try this out. Those are my kind of storms.
phazer11 Posted June 11, 2013 Posted June 11, 2013 To be honest I wish Climate of Tamriel had an MCM menu. I swear it seems like rains too often and too long (talking about a day long storm that ends for like five minutes before raining again). It'd be nice if it had an option to have kind of an automatic variants for weather where this could be one of the options.
statmonster Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 Agreed. This becomes quite annoying when combined with Frostfall - it seriously interferes with exploring outside.
Wormheart Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 Survived one rain storm so far and I like it, I would prefer this in addition to the vanilla storms (as rare storms) rather than a replacement but I can try and change that myself at some point :)
vfxninjaeditor Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 Survived one rain storm so far and I like it, I would prefer this in addition to the vanilla storms (as rare storms) rather than a replacement but I can try and change that myself at some point :) I am pretty sure this doesn't replace any weathers in the game. It just adds new ones that appear randomly. It would be weird if Manny got rid of diversity and had his storms override all others.
Wormheart Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 Looking at it in TES5Edit and it alters the vanilla rain and snow storms.
MannyGT Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Looking at it in TES5Edit and it alters the vanilla rain and snow storms.I confirm :) from my description page:This mod tweaks the vanilla snow and rain storms weathers by making them more.... Extremely intense!
Ganda Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 But does it alter just the more severe ones or all of them? From what I remember it only altered the severe ones but I may be wrong :/
TechAngel85 Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Hi MannyGT! If you could email Z92 on the Nexus to confirm you are actually you, we'll get you set up with the special "Mod Author" badge. Welcome to the forums!
