So, several years after Skyrim SE came out I decided to give it a try again. So I went through the guide anew. One of the files required for the patch, "Immersive Spectral Assassin", is no longer available on the nexus. The Creater of the mod says he's moving to a new account. Problem is, I can't play without his mod, due to following the STEP Guide. So I'm trying to either find a download for it, or figure out how to remove it as a master for the cr patch.

I tried to do that, but it wouldn't let me delete it as a master, since it couldn't load it as a master. I didn't try with Wryebash though. One minute.

Thank you. That seems to work. I've been fighting with that freaking thing for about a week now. I can't delete the Master part of it because no errors are thrown up. But I think the dummy plugin might work fine.

Hey, I have the same problem, but aren't able to fix it based on the video alone.
When doing everything as described in the video I end up with like 249 errors. Am I supposed to fix all of them? Even when I used "apply filters to show conflicts(selected files only)" and only selected the TESIVLucienLachance.esp and the main patch file I got the same amount of erros.

Any clarification on what exactly I have to do

I managed to remove the references and remove the master. Thank you for the resource on the dummy plugin!

Here's what I did, for reference:

  1. Created a dummy plugin for the missing master with Wrye.
  2. Enabled the dummy in MO.
  3. Loaded the patch in SSEEdit.
  4. Applied a script named "report masters".
  5. Deleted the references the script identified.
  6. Cleaned the master, since the references to the missing plugin were removed.
  7. Deleted the dummy plugin.

I sent him a message asking him to make it available for STEP users, and thankfully he has made it available again, as you noticed.

However, he said he is recreating the mod, and it sounds like he plans to take it down again at some point.
