Vorians Posted June 2, 2019 Posted June 2, 2019 The new Resources SE v2.63 is missing a folder, "04 DLC2 Vvardenfell 3D Plume\DynDOLOD" which contained "DynDOLOD_SSE_DragonbornEsm_DLC2SolstheimWorld.patch" in previous versions. The FOMOD script is still attempting to install this folder, was this intentionally removed but the FOMOD script wasn't updated, or was it left out by mistake?

Skata20 Posted June 3, 2019 Posted June 3, 2019 (edited) Hello. This is my first attempt to use DynDOLOD for SSE and I didn't want to make a new topic so I am asking here. I downloaded the standalone, place it in the SSE Folder. Downloaded the SE Resources and then the Indistinguishable Billboards for SSE, and I put them under the Resources so it overwrites some files.I launched TexGen64 through MO2, and generated the textures which I loaded in MO2. Then I launched DynDOLOD64, and I thought it went well, although the log file said that there are some errors... I am sending you the log file and I would really appreciate it if someone could help me recognize what errors there are. Thank you EDIT: For some reason it won't let me upload the txt :(Here it is: https://file.io/JMkOlS Edited June 3, 2019 by Skata20

Truncate the logfile to the last generation. Use pastebin.com or a file service for large logfiles. Edited June 3, 2019 by sheson

Skata20 Posted June 3, 2019 Posted June 3, 2019 They all say "The lz4 assembly requires the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 runtime installedlz4.AnyCPU.loader".Man do I feel dumb... I thought I had it... I will download the 2019 and try again. I am sorry I wasted your time.
Kelmych Posted June 4, 2019 Posted June 4, 2019 As always, thanks for the wonderful DymDOLOD and all the help you provide in using it. I recently generated DynDOLOD using version 2.63. I needed to update the LOD so I downloaded the most recent versions of xLODGen and DynLODGen. I ran xLODGen and Texgen without any errors. When I ran DynLODGen I got an error that generated a bug report. The bug report file and the log file are in this archive file. What should I try next?

Kelmych Posted June 4, 2019 Posted June 4, 2019 Yes, the set of DynDOLOD Resources files that were installed were incomplete. The 7zip file I downloaded seems to be complete. There is a problem when installing this archive file on my system with the FOMOD installer in MO2 (it also happened with the previous version of the resources file). There is a small window that blinks on and off very rapidly while MO2 is installing this archive. I have not seen this with any other archive I have installed in MO2, and sometimes the installation process does not install all of the core files. I ran the installation again, and this time I think it has all of the files it should have. Thanks for the help.

Check the FAQ and search official forum http://forum.step-project.com/forum/101-shesons-dyndolod-support/ for those errors. If problem persists, post error report with entire contents (not just the last couple lines) of ..\DynDOLOD\bugreport.txt and ..\DynDOLOD\logs\DynDOLOD_SSE_log.txt to official forum http://forum.step-project.com/forum/101-shesons-dyndolod-support/ For the part that you posted: FAQ: DynDOLOD.exe: A: Ignore. A handful of trees can not have traditional tree LOD for technical reasons and will be done as static object LOD. Static object LOD uses the normal _n.dds textures, but LOD tree billboards do not have one so the flat replacement is used, just as traditional tree LOD does.
zelazko Posted June 5, 2019 Posted June 5, 2019 Would this work for DynDoLOD SE?https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/26293?It adds it's distand LOD textures and landscape meshes.
