Martimius Posted May 7, 2018 Posted May 7, 2018 That’s weird. If I recall correctly, the latest patch notes for this current version of PCEA2 said that File Redirection was fixed and now compatible with the mod. Anyway, I don’t see any real reason to not use redirection, as that feature was made for MO2 comaptibility in mind; and that the devs said that outputting FNIS files to the “overwrite†folder is risky.
Greg Posted May 7, 2018 Posted May 7, 2018 Yes, I think you're exactly right. I know AL12 recommend using file redirection with FNIS and OutdatedTV uses file redirection in his video guide on installing FNIS. I was hoping to catch AL12 or Silarn on discord to ask them about this issue with PCEA2 but I hhaven't seen them on today. I imagine they need a well-deserved break anyway.
Martimius Posted May 7, 2018 Posted May 7, 2018 True hahaha. The MO2 dev Discord has sort of become a part-time tech-support center. Though some are really bugs, a lot of MO2 problems really are just due to user error and not RTFM.

Is this why the detailed instructions say: Quote Create Mod for Output It is recommended to create a mod to store output files from FNIS by doing the following: Click on the button and select, [Create empty mod]. Name it Step SkryimSE - FNIS Output. Open the Executables menu and choose [Nemesis].
