Where is W.A.T.E.R and Sparrowprinces other mods ?
Rebel47 replied to Rebel47's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Aww that's a dissapointment, I have version 5.05 and I'll keep it in my game then, I'm hoping that you are given the authority to reupload the files. Either way I'll keep my fingers crossed -
Where is W.A.T.E.R and Sparrowprinces other mods ?
Rebel47 posted a question in General Skyrim LE Support
So I was updating my mods for Skyrim SE at the same time as Skyrim itself and noticed that W.A.T.E.R and Sparrowprinces other mods are no longer available, in fact all mods uploaded by Sparrowprince are now no longer on the Nexus, are we likely to see them return since I vastly prefer SP's water mod to any other. I thought I would check here in case they were being included in a mod that S.T.E.P is working on -
I don't touch Shadowboost, I've never needed it personally. The Godrays is buggy, in that when you have it set to anything other than Ultra or low(off) it leaves a pixelated shadow around your character which looks awful (think Skyrim low shadows pixelation) Shadow Distance works but the utlra preset of 20000 is essentially no better or worse than that of 14 - 16000 although I personally use 18000, I would perform more tests but I'm not currently playing Fallout 4 right now, I might run it with MO and try all these tweaks out but I make no promises.
-
Are you using MO, I haven't personally tried Bethini with MO so I don't know if it accesses and edits the right ini files, but if not you'll have to manually the ini files through MO The above is just a theory that you can try out, at least until Double You weighs in with an opinion.
-
So you set your specified fov in Bethini, then you load up the game and change it again ? I've always changed my fov with Bethini and never had an issue with it not sticking, if you are changing fov in both ways (bethini and CC) then your likely overriding one and just breaking stuff that needn't be broken

SkyrimSE hooker walk installed somehow
Rebel47 replied to Thick8's question in General Skyrim SE Support
Well a modlist might have helped us to identify it, but it does sound similar to what Sexymove does, which is give every female a more "enticing" walk animation, other than that there isn't much nexus side I can think of that would change the female anims that much. -
Thankyou, I shall set about testing it out later on today.

Merge Plugins "OK" button greyed out.
Rebel47 replied to OPium46's question in Mator's Utilities Support (archived, read-only)
If your using the Standalone version I think I remember that I had to activate every single esp, load in and then select the one's I wanted to be in a merge and just do those one's, give that a try and see if that solves your issues. -
Has a version of this been made available for Fallout 4 yet ?

So your main issue is that the roads don't have parallax, Vivid and that vivid patch I told you to get don't cover parallax for the roads that I am aware of, and I believe even in one of Hein's mod pages he recommends getting a road mod to better provide parallax for the roads of skyrim, I am somewhat amazed given your total number of mods and MCM menu's in game and am very surprised that your not crashing every 5 seconds, this at least now explains why you need crash fixes. Stacks or blocks are what the game loads in at the start, SKSE.ini does this on startup with it's memory function and Crash Fixes is "supposed" to negate that completely devoiding the need to use SKSE.ini, however since I know so very little about Crash Fixes, and will not be using it or attempting to learn anything about it, this will have to be answered by someone else. The ENB is likely not the reason why your hitting the limit for the reasons mentioned above, if anyone else can provide a more detailed answer about crash fixes then by all means do so
-
You can disable any ENB functions you want to give you the performance you desire, also you may be interested in this little tidbit though this fix/mod ENB Terrain parallax fix helps to make it work better, on that link, download the 2nd option for Vivid Landscapes which helps with parallax on landscapes I can't recall if you mentioned using Skyrim HD - Terrain Parallax or not, but if you are I would advise against it, unless your using the original Skyrim HD overhaul. So to recap, if your not using Skyrim HD but you've got Skyrim HD Parallax Terrain mod in, then uninstall that (as it requires Skyrim HD to look right) and install ENB Terrain Parallax Fix for Vivid Landscapes instead

Snapdragon uses Shift + Enter to bring up the in game GUI menu, and Shift + F12 to turn the enb off should you wish to

Just thought I would give an update to this since I noticed this yesterday and fixed it today. It turns out through redoing my ini files once again that I have noticed something I didn't pick up on initially, while setting that in Fallout4.ini, if you happen to have bSaveGameOnQuitToDesktop=1 in FalloutCustom.ini then it will overwrite the previous tweak and once again create the save file, so remember to either remove the line from FalloutCustom.ini or duplicate it in there so they match.
-
Technically all ENB's are compatible but they won't look right unless they are done for the weather mod, incidentally the 2 I linked are not made with Vivid weathers in mind, Tetrachromatic has a version done for Vivid weathers but is performance costly for you, so try Vividian ENB (by MangaClub - Author of Vivid weathers) and see if that's better suited to you and your systems performance.
-
Well I've had a quick look and found 2 presets, one which is similar to the preset your using now, which is Snapdragon Prime ENB and the other is a more somber ENB with less flamboyancy Phinix Natural ENB If you can run 250+ esp's and texture mods too then running either enb above shouldn't kill your performance, but a recommendation is to turn off DOF as it's distracting and costs quite a lot of fps. Well if you've done the ini tweaks I told you to then the problem is with the mods, I would probably ask Hein himself on one of the vivid modpages why you can't see parallax.
-
I've never used crash fixes and likely never will so I can not recommend it to anyone else, I've described in my previous post how to get the most performance out of ENB while using the graphical feature, STEP themselves have a particularly good ENB section that you could browse through for all the help and tips you could need and it's been done by people far more advanced than I with way more knowledge than me in this field, take a look and do a little bit of reading, it will benefit you greatly in the long run If you have a really old computer with the bare minimum to run Skyrim then you'll likely struggle with an ENB and parallax is designed to be run with an ENB, it also depends heavily on which parallax mod your using or if it came with a texture pack such as Hein's Vivid compilation.s

The above enblocal is yours that I put into 1 full copy without changes, so follow advice below. To effectively run an ENB you'd need to set the following in your SkyrimPrefs.ini if the line is in bold then it is a required line for ENB to work If the lines are set to underline then it's disabling Anti-Aliasing and Anisotropic Filtering If the line is set to both underline and bold then it does both of the above. The "UsePatchSpeedhackWithoutGraphics=false" or ENBoost, is designed to be used without a preset, so running this will turn off the ENB preset and effectively disable parallax, but if you customize your ENB memory values Below is my ENBlocal.ini so don't copy this straight over, I will leave annotations in bold when something must be adhered to, and underline when something is a variable (I.E subject to change based on the user.) If however there is no annotation then this information can be used with any preset and is not subject to change. What you will need if you don't already use it is SKSE (Skyrim Script Extender) and the SKSE.ini The below can be copied in a new text file and named SKSE.ini (removing the .txt extension in the renaming process) Link to -[ ENB presets for Skyrim ]- Link to -[ SKSE ]- If I have missed anything out or made any mistakes then either I will rectify then or someone will correct me
-
I've looked over your enblocal.ini file and straight away I noticed some problems which will stop you from getting your parallax textures to show up in game. You have to have an ENB preset or use the graphical features of ENB and not just ENBoost to get parallax to work -[setting to change is UseSpeedHackWithoutGraphics=false]- You haven't set up your memory allocations within the ENB which you'll need to do if your running an ENB preset (this is needed for stability and performance) You will also need to disable Anisotropic Filtering and Anti-Aliasing if your going to use an ENB (This is only applicable to Skyrim and below) The above advice is solid and has been fact checked a few times to make sure it's as true as can be.
-
A good starting point with ENB's is to decide what you want your game to look like, and then if you can't decide tell others what your looking for so we'll at least know where to direct you to best cater for your likes and dislikes in ENB styles. But on the basis that we're sharing styles, I use one of 2 depending on my load order. If I'm not running any weather or lighting mods then I use Tetrachromatic ENB and if I'm using lighting and weather mods I use Megatherium ENB But this should be about what you value in style and design as it's going to be in your game and your going to have to look at it every time you load in.

Rise of The Tomb Raider Recommended Settings
Rebel47 replied to Darth_mathias's topic in Step Banter Inn
Have you run the internal Benchmark to see what the game itself recommends you to set your system at for optimal gaming ? Also without any mods (if there is any) or enb/reshade presets with your card you should be able to run it comfortably at 2560x1440 (according to Nvidia themselves) - https://www.geforce.co.uk/whats-new/guides/rise-of-the-tomb-raider-graphics-and-performance-guide If your into a little bit of research about the game and it's settings then I can recommend you take a look at this page https://in2gpu.com/2016/04/12/rise-tomb-raider-performance-guide-updated/ Hope any of this is at least a little bit helpful to you -
Well I fixed the problem with Zoom out Extended which while making everything look smaller than I would prefer actually removes the cave icon, since that cave icon is a bug with the Pipboy_MapPage.swf file and this replaces it (it may be a vanilla file I don't know at this point), if I happen to find an alternative to this issue I will update this post.
-
I managed to find a solution to this problem now which required the use of another mod in order to alleviate the issue.
-
Every time I load up my game or start a brand new one, I get my pipboy and look on the map to see where to go or place a martker and there plain as day is this cave icon that is in place of my usual character icon, I had this issue with the map mod I was using so I got rid of ot and went back to Vanilla map, the problem remained so I installed and downloaded Cartographers Map Markers and Satellite Color World Map Combo mods, and the problem is still there, so I don't believe for a seconds it's any fault of the mods in question but I would still love to fix problem If anyone has had this happen to them and has a solution I would be happy to hear it

Resources core file required error message
Rebel47 replied to Klapp3k's question in DynDOLOD & xLODGen Support
Are you running Original Skyrim ini files or did you run Bethini on your files, the pop in your describing sounds like it could be stemming from your ini files, just a hunch, but by all means try out MO and let us know how it goes for you, hopefully you'll get it working and be able to enjoy Skyrim with DynDOLOD
