Good for the sneaky type character: https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/20903 I haven't tested it but it looks interesting. :) Introduction: ---------------- Have you ever wanted to return to Whiterun after a murdering spree without getting arrested? Or maybe you wanted to live with the Bandits for a month? Well now you can, with Armor Disguises. Armor Disguises is a mod that spawned from the latest of my many assassin characters and Fallout New Vegas. For those of you that are not familiar, New Vegas implemented a system that would allow players to disguise themselves as a member of a main quest faction by wearing its members' armor. Using scripts, this mod does more or less that. Current Factions: ---------------------- The following Factions are presently included in Armor Disguises: Bandits Forsworn Warlocks and Necromancers Guards* Imperials and Stormcloaks Thalmor *Note: In order for guard armor to work the player needs to leave the cell, wait at least 24 game hours, and equip either the helmet or the cuirass last, the boots or gauntlets last will not trigger the disguise. Features: ------------ The following features are presently in the mod: Wear ALL pieces of a Faction's armor to be disguised as a member (i.e. wear all fur armor to be disguised as a Bandit) Armor can be equipped in any order (except for guard armor, see note above) Racial Requirements for the Forsworn (Breton) and the Thalmor (High Elf) A basic perk required to disguise at all A higher level perk to bypass the Racial Requirements Multiple Player attacks to cause NPCs to be hostile to the Player again Attacking any enemy will cause the Player to be removed from the faction and attacked on sight The player can re-disguise once out of combat and undetected** Trying to disguise while already in combat will not end combat Removing any piece of armor will cause hostile NPCs to attack and Guards to arrest criminals in their hold. For the Necromancers, the Warlocks, and the Thalmor: Players need to wear the hooded variant of their robes in order to be disguised **Note: After re-disguising, if the enemy the player initially assaulted is alive, they will not be friendly

TES5Edit will be more prevalent in the future for new mods. As for old ones, it will be hit or miss if the authors go ahead and fix them. Once TES5Edit can create a proper merged patch it will be amazing.
-
I think he was looking for structural errors not things that can be cleaned. (In TES5Edit select mods and then "Check For Errors")
-
Not to say that it will look good :P
-
Indeed Pre5b is up there. Doing a full run for giggles, just left the defaults on for the new options. Vanilla: HDDLC1: HDDLC2: TPC (Minus Soul Gems + Galaxy):
-
I think TES5Edit just got better and didn't flag false errors. Some mods were indeed updated also though.

ACCEPTED Skyrim Realistic Overhaul (by Starac)
Neovalen replied to z929669's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
With Cestral out of the picture to update TPC at the present time, wonder what the best way to integrate is. Probably place it before TPC in the load order. Doing so however, results in only 16 of the 300+ files being non-conflicted with TPC but I know there are probably great textures in there.- 425 replies

Have you cleaned your mods with TES5Edit? I know a few of thoese have ITMs/UDRs in them.
-
I normally don't run beta versions but tried this one out... fixed my stability problems... not sure how. "General Stability Fixes" probably... lol
-
I think both packs plan to have weapons eventually.

I keep hearing of modders being bored with Skyrim lately... hopefully with TES5Edit and other tools beginning to come out people will come back.
-
Nice! Can't wait.
-
Giving it a download.

I actually just got it working, left my pc unplugged for about an hour. Rebooted and it works... apparently there was a residual bit someplace. If it happens again I'll start to be worried.

Alright, as many of you know I built a new rig a few months ago and now I'm having an issue I can't figure out. I'm hoping it's not a hardware problem. My sound was working great using the Built-In Recon3di on my motherboard. I recently started using my headphones/front panel jack and that was working great too. Today, my headphones no longer work and when in speaker mode the front right and left speakers no longer work (woofer and other speakers appear to work fine). I can't seem to find any threads via google. Anyone got a clue what might have gone wrong? Tried re-installing various drivers with no effect. I really don't want to have to send my motherboard back for replacement.

Hearthfire released
Neovalen replied to torminater's topic in General Skyrim LE Discussion & Support
Got Hearthfire also. Always good to keep up to date. -
This should be mandatory to run on all mods for STEP 2.3, a LOT of the mods out there have dirty edits in them. I've been going through my entire load order and many of the existing STEP mods have a bunch.

0.2.0 released, can now clean Master Files. My Update.esm and Dawnguard.esm are now clean. (of ITMs anyways) Be sure to extract the Dawnguard strings from the BSA before attempting to load anything linked with Dawnguard.

SKYRIMLE DSpSoB - Dual Sheath plus Shields on Back (by DarkPhoenix)
Neovalen replied to Neovalen's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
As an FYI, I have updated my mod page with more compatibility fixes for this mod: https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/18850/ For anyone who is following my load order on the wiki, I have uploaded the "Neovalen Race Compatibility.esp" and "Black Hair is Black.esp" on this page. -
DROPPED Unofficial Skyrim Patch (by Unofficial Patch Project Team)
Neovalen replied to frihyland's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
It crashed for me when I zoned in the gate (so once I loaded into dragonsreach from whiterun)... other users on the nexus forums have had a crash when exiting the same area. In any case, cleaning the ESP fixed it for me, so figured I'd post it. -
SKYRIMLE Ethereal Elven Overhaul (by nuska)
Neovalen replied to mightyusaid's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
For USKP it's very minor(to the point it can be ignored almost) I believe he changed the race height for wood elves. In any case it's something to keep in mind for STEP 2.3 (not sure what if anything is being selected for this yet) that it probably will conflict with any of the below editing Elf Races: a) Facial Feature Mods b) Warpaint Mods c) Makeup Mods d) Racial Ability Mods e) Racial Stat Mods f) Racial mods of any type (including scale/height changes done in the CK) g) Vampire eye changes/fixes Also for Dawnguard users, I don't think it is set up to use the new face textures when changing to vampires at present. -
SKYRIMLE Ethereal Elven Overhaul (by nuska)
Neovalen replied to mightyusaid's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
This looks interesting but before we can use it in S.T.E.P. we might need to figure out how we're going to "merge" changes between mods. This obviously edits the "race" forms for the elf races which would over-ride any changes in the USKP/UDGP/etc. unless it was updated to match. I think at present only wood elf conflicts with USKP, not sure about UDGP. Unfortunately race forms are changed for anything from warpaint to makeup to you name it and they are a huge source of conflict.
