  4. I've been doing a ton of research for various face textures for my guide Skyrim Revisited (Still a WIP). Figured I'd share some of my results and get feedback. My thoughts are as follows: XCE has too much "crinkles, creases, etc." and makes everyone look overworked (including those who shouldn't look that way) Nuska is too young/clean to be for all NPCs. AIO is a nice mix of both, leaving in most of the detail from XCE but lightening it up. Warpaints look more like tatoo's though. AIO + XCE gives the nice warpaints but keeps the lighter details. I'm really leaning towards AIO with XCE Warpaints, Scars, etc. but figured I'd see what other people thought. Pictures include: Â Â No lighting mod at all. Â Â Natural Eyes (STEP) Â Â Realistic Hair with AOF Believable Hair (STEP) Â Â UNPB Body (/w UNPB Female Armors) From Left to Right (All have XCE Warpaints, Scars, etc. unless marked otherwise): XCE For UNP, Nuska's Real Skin For Women UNP, All In One Face UNP, All In One Face UNP (overwriting XCE Warpaints, Scars, etc) Breton (Preset 4): Dark Elf (Preset 6):
  5. Damn good day for modding! :)
  6. The only issue with any warpaints mod (not just this one) is that they edit race forms by necessity unlike additional hair and eyes mods (damned Bethesda design). If/when we add new warpaint mods we must make sure we: A) Make sure it is inline with any DLCs. B) Make sure it is inline with the USKP fixes. In the absence of these, we could make a patch if needed, just a bit of work to do. That being said, I do like the lore friendliness and concept of this mod, it looks nice.
  7. Love it, and version 1.0 looks to be even better. Nice!
  8. I've been using HiRes and have had no stability issue... my main concern is actually visual looks rather than performance atm.
  9. Base edition v1.72 is out... it hosts some... Interesting? Changes. Need to re-evaluate as he took out ALL meshes for pines, etc.
  10. My Skyrim using every texture at max (including 4096 textures) I've hit close to 3GB VRAM before. I'm obviously pushing the limit though. :)
  11. Found a texture that is causing issues when optimized: textures/clutter/scrollworktrim02.dds (causes black and white blotches in game on the standing stones)
  12. I love this mod, but there are a lot of USKP fixes not included inside this mod. Here I have detailed all the conflicted records/fixes missed and the list is quite exhaustive. If the author ever reads this, I hope he considers updating though I believe he had a fight with Arthmoor about his mod and that might be a contributing factor. In any case, I figured I would post this here in case anyone wants to do the work and fix it up for their own use.
  13. Happy new beer... er year!
  14. The blade itself looks good but could maybe use a tinge more blue to get a bit closer to the armor, but that is honestly my only criticism and it's small. Nice job.RE the diff in blade/armor color: realistically, blades will look a bit different and usually whiter, as they are forged more exhaustively than armor and also tempered more and generally polished more. A small difference is realistic I think. Agree on the concept, however I still feel the edge is slightly too white that is why I said to darken just a tinge (not a lot and definitely not to match 100%).
  15. The hilt looks amazing and matches the steel armor perfectly. I assume eventually the sheathe will also be retextured to match? Currently showing white steel still instead of blue. The blade itself looks good but could maybe use a tinge more blue to get a bit closer to the armor, but that is honestly my only criticism and it's small. Nice job.

  17. Has anyone tried DDSOpting the textures from Dawnguard or Hearthfire yet? I'm thinking of trying it now with the latest version.
  18. Nice, time to check it out. :) Thanks for all your work so far CaBaL! :)
  19. I have these installed and the only conflict I have is with Tobe's (diningset01 series). I have full SMIM installed.
  20. Just for information: For those who have SRO, Starac did cover these.
  21. AgreeAgreed as well.
  22. I remember the list said no conflicts but I could swear SkyrimHD addresses a few of these such as alchemy table and enchanting table. Anyone done a compare? If it's being added back in we should have a look-see.
  23. Personally, not a fan in general of the crackle effect. For at least half of them I prefer Vanilla.
  24. I've been running 3.0 for a long time now, it's amazing and I actually haven't found many bugs on the user side. Mainly it's background items. Now at Beta2 stage.
